On August 4th, I had a Gold Medal technician named Dakota come to my house to perform a home cooling and electrical inspection This technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite He answered all questions that I had and he performed a fair assessment of the work I need to do to my home During his visit, I extended my contract for another months of service Thank you so much for doing such a great job!

We just had a new HVAC system installed in our home yesterday and we are extremely happy The technicians that did the install of the system, *** and ***, arrived on time, were extremely courteous, they laid tarps down, wore booties immediately upon arrival and took time to explain exactly what they were going to be doing*** went outside to attend to the AC unit and *** went downstairs to tackle the heating systemThey worked non-stop for six hours before taking a brief lunch break and then returned right to their jobsDuring that time, another ** employee by the name of "Brock" arrived to conduct and complete the duct cleaning that we had requested.He did another exemplary job with that, leaving little to no dust*** and *** worked until about 7:pm or so, making sure to cleeverything, test the units repeatedly to satisfy that everything worked well, demonstrating how the thermostat works and checking if we had any questionsAnother platinum performance by Gold Medal!!!

I have used gold Medal for over yearsWhen it comes to repair their service are very good and they are available 24/When it comes to replacements, i.eA/C or Furnace, the services are very good but their cost might be higher than othersThey will work with you!

/I requested help & repairs on my ac I gave a "Bank"check in the amount of $3,/&the outside was repair but to date I have no ac in my home and I also paid $ on 7/29/16invoice # 316578, But I'm still with out air in my home I have a small dog & a catI'm also had strokes last year so I need the air onI also call the repair person that I gave the bank check to & talk to his "BOSS" over the phones if anyone can help me fine out what's going on>>> please do I'm going to the bank in the morning & request a copy of that check since they show my the withdrawal the workers name is "Helmi & I also left a message on his phonethank you in advance for any help anyone can give

I believe that the best way to respond to this complaint is to attach the invoice from the call and the extensive photographs Also, set forth below is the actual close-out from the technicians that were on
site:
1st close-out from the on-site service expert: “Cleared 1st fl branch main for bathroom from pulled toiletPulled out rootsRoots growing through flangeBarry ran cameraHeavy root intrusion in branch main onlyLocated in bathroomNo issues in main lineCustomers wife is in the hospital right now so he couldn't think about the next step at this timeNo warrantyAdvised customer full flat rate price from this point forward.” 2nd from Sewer Replacement Specialist: “Inspected outbound 87' to main there are roots 3' out from lower level bathroom flange but are not in the mainline quoted to hydrojet lineCustomers wife in currently in hospital and he is unsure of the outcome so he wants to wait and see how things play out before making any financial decisions.” ---------- The customer wanted to “see how things play out.” Unfortunately, the lined clogged again, that’s how it played out The main line needs some additional work - a price was quoted; he did not accept the price; he is free to go elsewhere The roots are a living thing and will continue to growth left unattended too

The service was provided in a professional mannerMatt, the Technician was on time, courteous and provided the information I needed to make a choice of the equipment to replace what was broken

On 8/22/I has Gold Medal Services to my home to check repair my heating/air conditioning thermostatI wasn't sure if it was broke or if I inadvertently shut it down somehow (since I have never had this type of thermostat) The repairman came out and checked, reset the thermostat and tell me to only adjust the temperature by using the "up and down" arrows only' ; then proceeded to write up the bill and an estimate for a "service program" This must be what is the priority for Gold Medal Services I was charged $for this and not allowed to use a coupon that I had received in the mail...being told that the $service call was only good if I had the maintenance servicedidn't see that anywhere on the coupon, I paid the bill, the repairman left I think disappointed that I did not get the maintenance planOn Saturday 8/27, the thermostat stopped working again I called God Medal, and was asked if I checked the battery I told the person on the phone that I didn't know the thermostat had batteries and that the repairman NEVER CHECKED BATTERIES OR MENTIONED BATTERIES TO ME!! I was told the repairman would be out on Sunday the 28thand that I would not be charged for any service...that was not true...I was charged another $ The same repairman came out and once again made it his priority to sell me a "maintenance plan" He set the thermostat againI mentioned the batteries and he took the cover off, and I SUPPLIED HIM WITH NEW AA BATTERIES which he put in He then promoted the maintenance plan, I declined again, paid the $bill, he lefr It has been about weeks and he thermostat is still working perfectly!!!! PERHAPS THE BATTERIES SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED/REPLACED ON THE FIRST VISIT!!! but didn't happen So I can honestly state that I feel "ripped" off by this company I cost me over $to have Gold Medal Heating and Cooling Services replace AA batteries! They made out like bandits - which they are! I got ripped off...I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, I intend to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and I have already begun to tell EVERYONE I know about my experience with this company!!! whose only interest is signing folks up for a maintenance plan, which one can only wonder would be whether it would be what they claim it would be DON'T CALL THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICE!!!! REMEMBER MY STORY OF $+ AA BATTERIES THAT I SUPPLIED!!!

Initially contacted for a clogged drain They responded and cleared drain stating roots had penetrated the line leading out to street Same was opened for $feeWas told should be ok but they would send out a specialist to run a camera thru to make sure at no cost to me Next day *** *** came and viewed with camera After viewing stated that some roots still remained I viewed the camera view also and observed a small bird net sized spot of roots
Not large thick roots wrapped around or protrouding through the pipe I asked if we could preform a second snaking procedure Mr*** stated that he had years of experience with this company and a second treatment could do more damage than good by possibilly on the pipe and collapsing it on itself So I agreed to have them dig up and cut out the rooted section$charge Mr*** (***) identified the foot section of pipe to be cut out and replaced The next day 6-20-the repair crew

I am putting in a complaint on Gold Medal ServicesI was out of air conditioning from last sunday july 1st till tues july I have a heart condition, but they could not get out any sooner, so I was sitting in a degree houseWhen they finally came, it was pm in the afternoon, the tech did a check and found out I had a burnt wire that was holding up from me getting my house coldHe fixed it, but then said I needed a whole new unitI asked him why do I need a whole new unit when you just fixed it and now my house is starting to get coldHe said your unit is years old, other things can go wrongI said I will worry about that when it happensHe was still pushy in getting a salesperson to come outI texted Gold Metal to cancel the appointmentI had an early appointment and when I came back to my house, there was a Gold Metal salesperson sitting out in front of my houseI said didnt you get my text not to come, I cancelled, he did not want to believe that I was truly

I was very happy with the response from Gold Medal on a clogged drain we had, to which other plumbing services wanted nothing to do with Jim J*** responded and was very professional and concerned He was also very friendly and personable He took the time to explain some of the services offered by Gold Medal which was interesting I'm sure I will be calling Gold Medal for any future problems related to the host of services they offer Great job, Jim

We had a very nice experience with Gold metal, we have a very old home and every update is usually a problem Gold metal employees Joe and Juan were very professional and patientThey were non stop working and cleaned up daily before they leftWe had the whole house re wired and up to codeVery pleased

Spent thousands of dollars to install an A/C system several months agoWith only one months use I had to have them here times for service alreadyLeaks in the system due to poor workmanshipP.SThey used my furniture many times instead of a ladderBroke a valuable endtable and bent a radiator cover

Oh, how they spin the facts. They offered nothing but a summary for me of my family arrangements and agreement with our father, which is interesting since they don't know any of us. They have zero concern or regard for their customers, which we should have guessed considering how we started off. They prefer to take their chances with an year old man rather than trying to resolving this with his children. They know nothing about our family estate planning but they are welcome to can take their chances on their assumptions. We are not interested in dealing wit them. Thank you Revdex.com for trying.

I called Gold Medal on a Saturday afternoon, and had a technician at my home the next day, on time, as promisedDavid, the HVAC tech, did an excellent job troubleshooting the existing problem and conducting the repair in a timely fashionWe are very happy with his work and level of serviceI would recommend Gold Medal to anyone seeking service on their HVAC!

I have had Gold Medal service and/or replace all major hvac and electrical systems in my home for the last years or moreI have been "advised" at each and every service call that additional services should be added, and I have relied on the advice most of the timeI had a duct cleaning service, at their urging, and it was done by an inexperienced, disgruntled man, who did a poor job, and would have left many ducts uncleaned had I not pointed out the ones he missed, even though I showed him all ducts beforehandIn addition, he was not given the financing paperwork for me to signI was told it would be sent, but wasn'tNext call, months later, asking if I wanted to finance....still no papers or bills sentAfter one or two calls , over several months, I asked for a bill so I could pay in full....months again until a call followed by a bill, which I paid in fullTwo days later, a letter from a collection agency!! Now, they won't service my systems!! Over-priced and a bad business model....sorry it took me so long and so much money to find out!!! I've had constant issues with my HVAC, which is only years old!!!

No problem on replacing the whole HVAC via Costco Reommended

The simple job they did was fine I could have done it myself but was out of town and my wife needed to have the matter repaired Involved a foot gas pipe and valve and connections They first quoted 550+ which I knew was outrageous They dropped it to a full price of I said the job should be below Since circumstances had me trapped, I went ahead with the based on what they tried to explain on the phone In their case I found out the "full price" does not include the tax which was added on My wife timed the work minutes I priced out the parts at $or so retail you figure it out If you have no clue about what the cost of a job should be, do some research first !!!!

This was our first experience with Gold Medal and we were very happy with the work that was performedThe technician was friendly, pleasant and courteousThe work was performed well, neatly done, and the area left clean upon completionBUT...I did not appreciate the hard sell at allThe tech wasn't in the door minutes and was pushing the sale of a water purification system and a home surge protection deviceThis before even getting down to the particulars of the job they were hired forIf the need arises we will call Gold Medal again, but if the hard sell continues we will stay with the service company we have used for many years and say goodbye to GM
