I am rejecting this response because:
Part ordered is not the problem. Service manager was to call never did so we can let him know the patch up repair hi did is not the problem. We called him and left two messages also sent text message, never heard back from him. Again the part they are talking about is not the problem unit running 24/and the temperature in the house is 86F

We had a great experience with John Mullen today from Gold Medal As a Gold member, we encounter many members of the Gold Medal team during our various checks and services done in our home I have to say John Mullen displayed outstanding knowledge of his craft, while providing the highest level of customer serviceHe was very personable, and took the time to explain to us the issues and solutions I will definitely request him when we have a service call

In March, I contracted Gold Medal Service to replace my heating system, waterproof my basement, and in particular install a kick heater in the Kktchen and electric baseboard heating system in the bathroomIn March, most of this job was done admirably, EXCEPT the kick heater was not wired, and the electric baseboard heating system was not installedThe individuals working on the project on the time cited an issue getting the correct partSince then, I have called every couple of weeks, and the result is that they schedule the job, say they are coming out, and then give some reason why the job was not completed and refuse to elaborateFor example., three times I have been told that "the part came in defective" without even specifying which part on the most recent occasionThey additionally have said that they have called and left messages and have not done soThey will also deliberately not call my mobile phone to leave their excuses for not arriving, so they do not have to speak t

leaking hose bib ...got to customer house; customer was already upset and stated he didn't understand why they couldn't give him an estover the phone ...explain to him that the office can't because they don't know what's going on in the field and would not be able to give a set price..while talking to him he seemed agitated; I asked him if he was OK seem like he was in a rush told him if today's not a good we can always come back did walk thru with customer hose bib is leaking but no access has a finished basement..explain to him we would have to open it up with installing valve since there is now....show him his main valve his PRV since he stated his pressure in home is not great ...took some time wrote up options did break down with an without TCC...at this point with some agitation he said if that’s how much it cost he's gonna do it himself thought it would have been 3-to open up finished areaFrom the service manager: The service expert provide several options - each fully independent of each other - it is obvious that the customer is mistakenly (or otherwise) now adding up all the separate options
1- The Option sheet includes more than just the cost of a Frost Free hose bib. There are options for replacing the Main Water Valve & the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) - That totals $of the $2- To replace the Frost Free Hose bib (P- $768) requires access from a finished area of the home. The ceiling is sheetrock meaning there is NO access to the area, requiring additional charges to open the wall (P- $393). At that point Mohan/Victor offered a TCC in lieu of the Access Charge (P106). Nothing done wrong here. So the total price to replace the Frost Free hose bib would have been only would have been $(non-Member) or $with the TCC in lieu of access. If the customer chose to open his own ceiling, the cost would have been $I’m not really sure what the confusion is here.
If & I repeat If the service expert made any mistake it was not offering to tighten the packing nut (No Warranty, No Guarantee that it would work) but typically we do not “Tighten Packing Nuts” as a course of action

Had work done on a leaking water line Dwight R***, Andy and Dylan (sorry, I don't know Andy or Dylan's last names) were so very professional, effective, and efficient The work was started at approxnoon and they finished around p.m There were unanticipated complications, but they were dedicated to having it done right.....had to dig, had to get parts, had to improvise because the size of the lines were not what would be expected I was very impressed with their professionalism Not only that, they were respectful and personable Very nice people, and I have to say I have had the same experience with every Gold Medal technician that has done work at my residence

Spent thousands of dollars to install an A/C system several months agoWith only one months use I had to have them here times for service alreadyLeaks in the system due to poor workmanshipP.SThey used my furniture many times instead of a ladderBroke a valuable endtable and bent a radiator cover

We had a very nice experience with Gold metal, we have a very old home and every update is usually a problem Gold metal employees Joe and Juan were very professional and patientThey were non stop working and cleaned up daily before they leftWe had the whole house re wired and up to codeVery pleased

I was trying to find a plumber to replace an outdoor spigot I was quoted $to come out and told he would provide an estimate It took him hours to come out and several phone calls between the dispatcher, Lou, and me, he finally arrived after 5PM He looked at the spigot on the outside, then went into the basement area and assessed the replacement at $ He then pretended to look up a better price and after he knew I was done with these games, he said that was the best he could do Please look up the price to replace an outdoor spigot and if it says $plus $to come out (which I paid), I would be amazed If this isn't fraud and complete price gauging, then I must have been born yesterday I want my $back and I will not ask for the time I wasted waiting for this individual to appear at my home, but I do want other consumers made aware of their shady business practices

I had my sewer drain snaked on 6/for dollars because of a backup on 6/the problem reoccurred when the work was being done the tech mention nothing about roots although he did remove some after the line was snaked it was cameraed and they saw roots I was then told for an additional I could have the line jetted although 90% of the line is clear when I complained I was told the invoice stated that because of the roots there was no warranty which I had signed but could barely make out because it was a carbon copy but I feel the ethical thing to do is to state that before you begin work and charge my credit card

I am rejecting this response because: They offered us $which is a fraction of what we were out of pocket due to their incompetence Additionally,
they did not factor in the $200+ dollars they padded the bill for their membership we did not agree to purchase We had asked for a full refund which would be the $1700+ in response to their initial offer we told them half would be reasonable settlement even though we feel full is more appropriate They have reached out once and we have not heard back again Very very poor customer service/relations with this company If we cannot resolve, we do plan to reach out to an attorney to get advice.

Gold Medal Plumbing was very responsive to my request of snaking my clogged kitchen drain and kept informed of the technicians arrival time ,who was also very knowledgeable of my problem.The pricing was very fair.I will definitely use Gold Medal again and also recommend this company to family and friends

I called for a problem with my sump pump and basement was floodedGold medal phone rep was very considerate and helpfulI was referred to another company to assist with pumping out the water so they could fix the pumpGold medal rep came out before the water was completely pumped so he could not fix the pump and he leftWhen the water was out I called gold medal again and they sent another rep Mike outI appreciated their timely responsesMike was great! He was professional and very kindHe answered all questions and recommended a free gold medal service to give advice on fixing water leaks in my basement
That Gold Medal rep came out the next morning and gave good advice on self repairing solutions as well as other recommendations
I was very impressed with the service and thankful to Mike for his referral

We contracted Gold Medal on 2/to install a gas line into our home It was agreed that Gold Medal would obtain permit and let us know when we could schedule inspection post installation with township Installation was scheduled/done on 2/and was told original permit was declined by township, but we were good now Hearing that, we let them proceed with install, we trusted them on their word Work was completed and we waited a week to call and follow up if we could call to schedule inspection Found out they did NOT have permit yet As homeowner, this made us liable for fine from township Called various times (12-times) over course of a month to follow up In course we found out check wasn't sent to township until 3/and permit wasn't picked up until 3/ LONG after our install We finally called township, not believing Gold Medal, they were happy to schedule inspection and were ready to proceed Scheduled inspection and called Gold Medal In turn, Gold Medal sent
