routine furnace check on a year old propane furnace The technician was supurb He spent almost hours investigating a water leak He disassembled the furnace and showed me with a camera the cause of the condensation leak He took the time to explain what was wrong and what my options are He also answered all my questions on the water heater and a basement finishing project very impressed by him

I had a positive experience with Gold Medal Service plumber Mike H*** on Veterans' Day, November 11, My problem was that water was still coming out of my outside faucet days after I turned it off and also turned off the indoor valve that controls the water flowing to that faucetBoth the valve and the faucet were replacedMike H*** was punctual, patiently answered my questions, gave me options so I could decide how much work he should do, and thoroughly cleaned up after himselfI am confident everything is fixed properly and I don't have to worry about pipes freezing and bursting and flooding my homeI recommend Gold Medal Service to people who are willing to pay for professionals who will do quality workI am sure you can find lower prices, but not unless you are willing to wait around for late arrivals, have leaks that aren't fixed in one visit, and clean up a big mess after your plumber leaves

I had to call Gold Medal this morning after my toilet started spurting water from the round piece (valve?) that the arm is attached to They told me they could have someone out here between and 1, which made me extremely happyService tech Mike M*** called to let me know he was on his way and arrived pretty close to 12, I think Mike was extremely polite, friendly and explained what the problem was and what he had to do to fix the issueHe (thankfully) had the piece he needed on the truck, installed it and was finished in no time With paperwork and billing, etc, he was done and gone by 1:30pm Mike was a pleasure to deal with and couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable

Had work done on a leaking water line Dwight R***, Andy and Dylan (sorry, I don't know Andy or Dylan's last names) were so very professional, effective, and efficient The work was started at approxnoon and they finished around p.m There were unanticipated complications, but they were dedicated to having it done right.....had to dig, had to get parts, had to improvise because the size of the lines were not what would be expected I was very impressed with their professionalism Not only that, they were respectful and personable Very nice people, and I have to say I have had the same experience with every Gold Medal technician that has done work at my residence

I spent three days trying to get someone to come to my home I was being told by some that they did not do the service I was told by others that they did I had an appointment and no one showed up When I called I was told someone would get back to me shortly No one called I left three messages for Michael D to call me and he never returned my call until I asked to speak with Mike A or Rob Z After three days, Michael had some Manager call me who said they didn't do the service I asked that Mike A or Rob Z call me back so I could let them know what I went through and I have not received a call back I am a "Gold" member and that is suppose to get me priority service I think they need to know what the "priority" service looks like

The service was provided in a professional mannerMatt, the Technician was on time, courteous and provided the information I needed to make a choice of the equipment to replace what was broken

On April 14th two techs from Gold Medal came out to unclog a drain Eric and George, the two techs took care of the problem in a professional and courteous manner During the job I mentioned that my daughter was having her fourth child that day When Eric and George got back to the shop they let the co owners of the company know about the birth of my grandson The next day I received a box of chocolate covered strawberries from Mike and Rob, the co owners, congratulating me on the birth of my Grandson Needless to say I was surprised and most appreciative of their thoughtfulnessThese gentleman in my opinion are outstanding business owners whose company I would highly recommend to those looking for the services they provide

There are several issues at play here First, neither stone was included in the original contract price for removal Second, the customer initially advised to leave the two boulders on site for use in their landscaping after they were uncovered Third, we agreed to go back and remove the boulders as an Expensive courtesy Fourth, due to the size of the boulders, regardless of other circumstances, we needed to make two tripsFinally, the boulder that the customer is presumably complaining about has apparently been incorporated into the surrounding landscaping such that our contractor did not immediately know what was to be removed So, for the sake of not disturbing the landscaping and creating other issues, no second boulder was removedIf this customer wants the second boulder removed, they will need to mark the boulder clearly, take a picture and send to our field underground manager who they have previously spoken with and contact the same person for a convenient time The customer may communicate initially by email with the field undeground manager who is "cc'd" on this email Thank you

This is an undependable companyWe were referred by Costco to Gold Medal to obtain a estimate for new AC We also contacted them when we needed a quick repair They were not able to schedule the repair in a timely manner and it was serviced by another company We called to reschedule the AC quote but they mixed it up with the service call which was never scheduled with themAfter very frustrating attempts (with cancellations by Gold Medal), we were unable to get the quote scheduledDuring the last attempt, sent a confirmation text in the afternoon with the time window When we called to ask about more precise timing, they stated it was cancelled by us but we received no cancellation text Their rationale for the cancellation was a difficult conversation I had with their customer service supervisor in which we complained about their consistent miscommunication in scheduling During the conversation with customer service, they took no responsibility for the mciting a taped conversation in which they cherry picked one sentence out of context to defend and back up their view that they are not at faultI would never recommend a company in which terrible experiences begins even before becoming a customer They are seem to be disorganized at the administrative level and cannot seem to able to successfully fulfill a simple appointment scheduling

I contacted the company to replace an electrical outlet in my basementWhen the service tech arrived, I again stated that I just wanted the outlet replacedThe outlet in question was replaced a number of years ago and it went bad againThe tech explained that before he could do the work, he needed to trouble shootThe cost for this was $I explained to him that I just wanted the outlet replaced, but he stated he need to trouble shoot firstHe then stated that I could save money by joining the Gold Medal Service club for $As I first look at it as the cheapest way, I choose to join the clubHe then started his troulbe shoot that took him all but minutesHe made it look as if he was looking at the wires, (I was present the entire time)He then took off the outlet and stated yes that was the problemI was then charged not only the $plus another $to change an exsisting outletI believe that I was taken advantgage ofThe tech was there for no longer then

We scheduled a service call for the annual heat tuneup but also because the heater has been shutting off quickly, restarting, etc Our service expert, Eric, found the problem and replaced the failing part Overall, he was the best service person I have had in over years of home ownership He spent a lot of time looking into our setup and explaining our options to reduce problems He said he had had his own business for many years before being hired by GM four years ago I was not surprised because he really treated us as his own personal customers The other GM service people I had in the past were also good, but I will be requesting Eric for future calls Outstanding

I was having a problem with my Breaker popping whenever I put on the kitchen lightsAfter speaking with a technician he told me it would cost $to diagnose the problemYes thats right $to diagnose a popping circuit breakerAfter almost having a Heart Attack I advised the technician that is ludicrousI advised him that I believed it may be a faulty dimmer switchHe told me that the problem would have to be diagnosed and it would cost $I said that is RIDICULOUS and I was being ripped off! I contracted Gold Medal in late August to do an electric repair on my home that ended up costing over $8,In the middle of the repair they had to pull the refrigerator out and ended up scratching the tile badlyThe technician at the time took pictures of the repair and offered to either take money off the price or have one of their tilers to come to the home, look at the damage, and attempt to either move some tiles from under my cabinets or replace the tiles on the kitchen floor with tiles of my choiceAs promised, the tiler showed to my home the next week, took new pictures, and stated he was going to look for similar tiles and get back to me about his findings and a new installI have called Gold Medal at least times since August 2016, and now in January I still do not have my tilesEvery time I call someone tells me that they are going to speak to the supervisor and get back to meNO ONE has called to rectify this situation after those calls and I still have da
