I called on Saturday, and Gold Medal came to declog my kitchen drain on Sunday morning -- the day before Christmas Mike was the service rep., and he did a fine job Very professional, efficient, and courteous And the customer service reps with whom I booked the appointment on the phone when I first called were also very helpful and courteous Thank You!

The service expert was very helpful in choosing the extent of my repair/ upgradeI appreciated his explanation of the the benefits of the new equipment

On August 4th, I had a Gold Medal technician named Dakota come to my house to perform a home cooling and electrical inspection This technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite He answered all questions that I had and he performed a fair assessment of the work I need to do to my home During his visit, I extended my contract for another months of service Thank you so much for doing such a great job!

I had an outdoor hose bib that dripped water when the valve was turned onI agreed to pay $ for a repair estimateA Gold Seal employee came, took a picture, consulted his computerized price list then gave me a written estimate which said I needed all sorts of work for an "investment" totaling $+ tax to fix it
He said I could scrimp and have just some of the work done for $or that I could do some of the work myself and they could do a half-way repair job for $
I paid $for the estimate and sent them on their wayLater on, my neighbor came over and tightened the packing nut on the valve and it stopped drippingIt took him less than seconds to fix it
These people are clearly committing acts of fraud against an unsuspecting public

Gold Medal Plumbing was very responsive to my request of snaking my clogged kitchen drain and kept informed of the technicians arrival time ,who was also very knowledgeable of my problem.The pricing was very fair.I will definitely use Gold Medal again and also recommend this company to family and friends

We ordered the drain cleaning service which was advertised for $93.00, or free if its not clearedOur tenant's bathtub was drainedHowever our sink was not able to be drainedThe plumber stated that the pipes in the sink are old and would have to be replaced in order for the sink to work properlyHe did not inform us that doing this would cost an extra $After replacing the original pipes nickel pipes with pvc pipes, the sink would still not drain properlyWe were given two jugs of drain cleaner for $and told it should helpAfter using up the drain cleaner, the sink would still not drain properlyWe asked for the manager to come and confirm that the sink would not drain properly, which is our reason for refusal of payment as it was advertised originally, that it would be free if the drain was not clearedAt the manager's inspection we were informed that we should have been charged even more for the original job doneHis offered resolution was to replace even more pi

On April 14th two techs from Gold Medal came out to unclog a drain Eric and George, the two techs took care of the problem in a professional and courteous manner During the job I mentioned that my daughter was having her fourth child that day When Eric and George got back to the shop they let the co owners of the company know about the birth of my grandson The next day I received a box of chocolate covered strawberries from Mike and Rob, the co owners, congratulating me on the birth of my Grandson Needless to say I was surprised and most appreciative of their thoughtfulnessThese gentleman in my opinion are outstanding business owners whose company I would highly recommend to those looking for the services they provide

My elderly mother called Gold Medal for a plumbing issue They quoted her $5,to replace a clogged pipe in the yard and pressured her to sign a form to complete the job the next day After she told me about it I had her cancel the job and got another quote for $1,- $2,for the same replacement Gold Medal took advantage of an older woman This is predatory sales practices Who knows how many other senior citizens just pay what they say because they don't know better This is disgraceful and they should be held accountable

BEWARE OF THE BAIT & SWITCH!! They are very dishonest! When I scheduled the appointment at am, I advised the agent that I owned the house but did not live there I was given a window of between and pm At 5:pm the dispatcher called and advised me that the plumber would arrive closer to pm At this point, I could not complain - who was I going to find after business hours I received another call at 6:pm and was advised that since I did not live in the house the cost would be at least double of quoted $price Also, that I had to provide a credit card number immediately or the plumber would not come to my house The plumber had called in the interimWhen I returned his call, he told me that he had listened to the taped conversation of my first call He told me that the agent should have told me that since their were tenants, the special did not apply Since "Gold Medal" waited hours, I believe they should have provided the service at the quoted price What kind of company waits hours before disclosing their policies - a DISHONEST company The agent read me a speech about their professionalism and good business practices Empty words from a dishonest organization!

I hired Gold Medal Service to replace leaking main pipe (from curbside shutoff valve to the house)
When initially discussed the job, they assured that they will use "bullet" machine to replace underground pipe and my landscaping will be intact (we have nice and expensive landscaping and paving)
When the crew started to work, they said, they cannot use "bullet" machine because there are stones underground (what a surprise!) and they need to excavate the pipe all length, through landscaping and pavingOKNext, they said that they cannot place new pipe into the same hole as the old one and they need to "route" it through my garageThe problem is, my garage is not heated and pipe would freeze all the timeThey were thinking about how to do the job for almost days (while our family with y.otoddler stayed without water)On afternoon of second day, some expert or manager from the company arrived and assessed the situationHe found the way to route new pipe through basement ba
