I have had Gold Medal service and/or replace all major hvac and electrical systems in my home for the last years or moreI have been "advised" at each and every service call that additional services should be added, and I have relied on the advice most of the timeI had a duct cleaning service, at their urging, and it was done by an inexperienced, disgruntled man, who did a poor job, and would have left many ducts uncleaned had I not pointed out the ones he missed, even though I showed him all ducts beforehandIn addition, he was not given the financing paperwork for me to signI was told it would be sent, but wasn'tNext call, months later, asking if I wanted to finance....still no papers or bills sentAfter one or two calls , over several months, I asked for a bill so I could pay in full....months again until a call followed by a bill, which I paid in fullTwo days later, a letter from a collection agency!! Now, they won't service my systems!! Over-priced and a bad business model....sorry it took me so long and so much money to find out!!! I've had constant issues with my HVAC, which is only years old!!!

I am rejecting this response because:I am not asking them for anything but a phone call from one of the owners so I can be sure they are aware of the lack of communication I received They can say all they want about them not performing the service, but when they make an appointment and just don't show up, that is unacceptable And to make matters worse, when I called to see why they did not show up I was told someone would get back to me shortly which did not happen So, yes, I did call again to see what was going on To imply that I kept calling back because I wanted them to perform a service they did not do is wrongIf one of the owners does not want to call me to discuss this, that is okay with me I just want others who read this to be aware of that

I had a plumbing emergency,on 7/22/ so I called the said company who offered emergency plumbing service in the morningThe company made a commitment to send a service person between pm and pm However the service person did not show up and I was not informed until pm that a service person would not show up on that dayI was offered to reschedule the appointment for next day which I declinedI had no water in the house

The technician was nice enough little did I know he was not sincereOverpriced job he said was going to take one hour and a half ended up to be a Minute job and stayed parked in my parking driveway for the next minutesI will never trust gold metal againI will not recommend them to anyoneShame on you

First time to use the company, installed 100Amp sub panel, recessed lights Brad M*** and Ramon R*** did the job at 2/of estimated timeBoth were very professional, answers questions, give recommendations and does the job right Laying out drop cloths along walk way, work area and clean up were done They even wear disposable covers on their shoes This is an aon original quote--turn key installation of natural gas fueled whole house generator

Just had central AC installed (2months ago) Originally had problems with incorrect billing and today we switched unit on and nothing it is 88F in the house, we are elderly and not in great health so enduring this kind of heath will not be easy Gold Medal was suppose to come and inspect the unit and started up for us They never did! We called and reported the problem and were told to wait hours for service It is hard to imagine spending $10,for AC replacement unit and not being able to use it and being treated this way when promised something opposite
They advertise themselves as hours service and hours wait time We are under warranty I wonder how are we going to be treated when that expires
We need your professional help!

Service was for my year old parents Upon the first visit service person told my dad the kitchen light (with fan) needed to be replaced, the light switch needed to be replaced and he wanted to rip up the upstairs floor to fix The light switch was replace and installed a keyless fixture at a cost of $ Upon second visit to install the light fixture that my parents purchased at home depot they were charged $There was no budging with Gold Medal and the absorbent amount of money charged until I posted a review on Facebook At that point they were willing to refund the second amount charged but not until a letter they drafted needed to signedand then we needed to wait days This letter stated that in order for a refund to be given we had to agree "you will not contact the Revdex.com, any similar entity or commence any formal proceeding In addition, you agree that you , or anyone acting on your behalf, will not post any negative comments toward Gold

never responded, causing me to lodge this complaintSince this complaint was received by Gold Zmedal they have still failed to contact me! as noted in their response to youI would seriously look into the Revdex.com rating you've given this company; they are not responsive, customer service is not in their vocabulary, and still this point they took mMy money without rebdering proper sync apptopriate service

I had a new heating/cooling system installed on Jan15, On Feb08,2016, I received permit paper work from Gold Medal There were inspections Electrical & fire prevention passed inspections Plumbing & building inspections failed The permit deptgives me the run around & last week sent requested paper work to plumbing inspector On March 28, 2016, Gold Medal scheduled a plumber for a re-inspection Town called me & said he canceled Permit deptdid not follow thru to resolve matter Today, I called permit dept & *** told me she would call town & get back to me Thirty minutes later, she shut phone off I called town & I was told she never called The issue is the chimney liner The refusal to remedy the liner issue has to be resolved

I signed a years service agreement with Gold Medal in Decpaying $plus tax with representative Eric
The service provide's unlimited visits and years of tune up services for all units including, AC, Heating, Boiler, Electric and others
There were no contract terms and conditions provided at signing
I called in May to make appointment for AC tune up which they called to cancel twice that they were too busy I had to take days off for the cancellation where they finally show on June 28th on a 3Rd appointment and it is a sales call where the technician try to sell me new AC units and pipe cleaning Filters were not even provided as replacement for units
In June, I called for sewer clogged issue and they show up but informed me that they cannot do anything After calling the Township who informed me the problem, I call Gold Medal back who came and explain it is an easy fix that I can even do it myself However, if he were to change a $parts, he would

The original installation of the furnace and AC was quite goodI signed up for a year warranty with free spring and fall tune-upsSeveral times when I scheduled, they cancelled Today, after being cancelled by them days ago, the service technician never showed up in the 9-window After waiting hours, I had to re-schedule, and wait another weeks for their next try annoying

The complaint is misplaced Gold Medal did not perform any substantive work on the toilet The charge of $is for work performed on the kitchen sink Below is a copy of the customer service notes on this instance from the customer calling in yesterday with a complaint

Tech SR01went out a 2nd time to this customerThe first time (running toilet), SRreplaced a clip in the toilet as a courtesy (after custmers's handyman already replace parts in the toilet)A week later, SRgoes back out for the same toilet runningDid a dye test to check for any leaks, none found, so he left options to replace the parts in the toilet with our stock partsCustomer declined that option, but asked SRto replace a filter under his kitchen sinkUpon investigation, SRsaw the valve needed to be replacedGave options for that, customer signed the pre-authorization, and had him do the work under the sink (replace valve and change customer supplied filter)Nothing wrong with paperwork and from what I could tell, SRdid nothing wrong here----
So, what we have here is an incompetent job performed by the customer's handyman who is now trying to blame Gold Medal for the issues caused by the handyman We also have a customer who pre-authorized work in the amount of $and now is disputing the work He has also filed a dispute with [redacted] for the amount of the charge Gold Medal will contest the dispute and seek full payment There is no validity to his complaint There is no issue with the work performed In fact, we went there twice and performed free courtesy work Gold Medal deserves to be paid for the work performed and will seek to enforce the agreement signed by the customer Thank you
