As of 10/12/15 I still do not have a refund. I have spoken to my bank and they said they process refunds immediately so it is the merchants bank that takes longer and they also said that if the merchant wanted to they could process the refund immediately. All I want is my money immediately and for the merchant to not charge people unless they are sure the order will be processed in this case they should have known that the restaurant could not fill the order. So in this case my card should never have been charged

Generally, we can not delete accounts because we have to keep records of financial transactions with the restaurants on our site. Grubhub users have the ability to overwrite any details of their account. However, we were able to scramble the details of this account for the complainant. If they...

I am rejecting this response because:The representative stated they were mailing the certificate and it was never sent Now they are stating I rejected it.  I asked simply why I would want a certificate if I don't plan to use them again.  She stated they had already emailed it which they have not. Not to mention the certificate requires I give their company even more of my money to deliver.  They kept my food I paid for and my money yet no service was provided! They need to issue a refund.

Grubhub was not able to accommodate the customer's request because they attempted to use an invalid promotional code and they attempted to retroactively apply a discount more than 24 hours after they placed an order. The promotional code they attempted to use was for first-time diners. There are multiple accounts associated with the customer's information. Grubhub did not promise the diner a refund prior to their placing order.
