Dear Revdex.com,To further respond to Mrs***'s rebuttal, please be advised that clients who file a tax return through H&R Block and receive H&R Block Emerald Advance line of credit there are specific payment options the clients are offered to ensure the Emerald Advance Payment is payed down by the required date of February 15th of each yearRefund Anticipation Check (RAC) is a service offered for an additional fee plus the cost of preparation that allow our client to pay all applicable fees through their tax refund rather than having to pay out of pocketOur client is also given the option to direct deposit their tax refund in an external bank account or on the H&R Block Emerald Card (EC)If the RAC is not chosen then the other option offered to our client is the IRS Direct Deposit (IRS DD) to an Emerald CardBy choosing IRS DD to EC, all applicable fees associated with the preparation of our clients tax return must be paid upon e-filing the returnThis option also authorizes H&R Block to automatically sweep the Emerald Card and pay down the Emerald Advance balance After which all remaining funds are deposited to the Emerald Card on record.In this case, Mrs [redacted] filed using the online version that best fit her specific tax needs, the H&R Block Basic for $Upon the release of her refund by the IRS to her Emerald Card, our records reflect that Mrs***’s tax refund was deposited on 1/30/On 1/30/2015, H&R Block bank swept the Emerald Card for the EA payment of $($+ $additional interest)Also on this same day 1/30/2015, Mrs [redacted] contacted H&R Block via phone and made an Emerald Advance payment of $At this point, records reflected that two payments had been madeH&R Block refunded the overpayment on 2/2/for $less the $applicable interest that accrued between the dates of 1/when the interest posted to the account to 1/when H&R Block received payment.Again, we sincerely apologize for any misinformation that was provided or any misunderstandings that Mrs [redacted] may have concerning H&R Block’s Emerald Advance line of credit We respectfully ask the Revdex.com to close this caseHowever, should you have additional questions or desire to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely, [redacted] Associate Business AnalystH&R Block

[It is true that I approached HR block in their office in June of 2014, but way before that I engaged HR Block Expatriate services who assured me that they will file an extension and file a return ..once they failed to file a return I went to HR Block in MDIn regards to providing and records, I have not received any request from HR block to provide documentationI beleive we have already provided all the records and documentations to HR BlockI would be happy to provide any additional documents to HandR blockI like to resolve this issue as well and would like HR Block to simply fix the mistakes and honour their warranty by compensating us for the amount I requested in my original complaintThe amount I requested is very reasonable since several serious mistakes and huge delay in filling the tax return caused the problems] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com: H&R Block disagrees with Ms [redacted] 's allegationsOur investigation reflects that, Ms [redacted] came to the H&R Block office and stated she had a child that was disabled and that she supportedShe was able to supply a social security number for the dependent, who is years oldAfter meeting with and interviewing Ms [redacted] twice and doing further research, we found that the child she was trying to claim was not a qualifying dependent and was deported for a crime back in 2010, back to his country Ms [redacted] provided a social security number willingly knowing that this person was deported in Furthermore, the original claim that she supported that dependent more than 50% was found to be untrue, as she reported support of up to $a year to the tax professional but then stated it was $per month to Thomas Nagorski, the District General ManagerWhen asked again what level of support she provided to the dependent, Ms [redacted] was unable to provide any proof of any support The state denied the dependent though a letter and we removed the dependent from the MIPR return, at no cost to Ms [redacted] This return was originally done as a hardship return and was prepared at a substantially discounted price to help the familyBased on the large inconsistencies of truth and the supporting information Ms [redacted] supplied to us for the preparation of the return, we are unable to assist her any further at this time.In light of H&R Block's above-referenced good-faith actions to resolve this matter, we respectfully request that this case be closedHowever, should you have additional questions or desire to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely, [redacted] ***Associate Business AnalystH&R Block
