Lie#3, tried to contact [redacted] office [redacted] times not a return phone call ?? Lie #4, called Hr block to try to get someone to call me back I told [redacted] to record and write how many times I have tried to get ahold of [redacted] office call hrblock line another times finally spoke to [redacted] she stated never even paid for my tax return I told her I have my statement for proof, and I want my file mailed to me 4weejs later I get my returnsMeanwhile I go to [redacted] worked with [redacted] he tried for Two weeks to get my returns before I received them in the mail, meanwhile I complain to hrblock again I was told No Resolution to my case [redacted] , and I have another case# [redacted] to date no answer on that either?? I asked to talk to manager [redacted] in [redacted] still no call back?? I called numerous times to [redacted] in the meantime they blow me off [redacted] was the only tax prep that helped me out at all and he stated that hrblock really screwed me up and he was sorryBack to corporate now still to date haven't spoke to ONE person except to say that the person I needed to speak to isn't working and she would call me on Monday well not sure what Monday she meant???? I tracked all the items I needed for IRS myself no help from Hrblock at all wrongly done my tax returns totally unacceptable and unprofessional !!! I want my refund costs given back to me and a letter to IRS who already knows about hrblock failures says it's common place from hrblock to mess up and not take any responsibility and wished me "Good luck" with dealing with them he is right !!!! [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because H&R Block has not provided me with direct evidence that shows I was the one responsible for making the income tax errorHoward, the H&R Block representative with whom I spoke, provided me with screen shots of the blank interview forms for the [redacted] Homestead credit, HS-(see attachment)He told me that I had incorrectly completed the first form, that asked if I owned my own home, was a renter, or don't own or rentHe further explained that had I correctly completed the first form, then submission of HS-would have been triggeredHowever, he could not provide me with actual copies of my interview responses showing that I had incorrectly filled out this formIn dealing with this case, I have previously been told (multiple times) by H&R Block customer service representatives that: (1) it was impossible to get copies of even the blank interview forms from the online program and (2) HS-was not supported by their online programClearly both of these statements were not true as I now have copies of the interview formsI am still forced to take Howard's word for the "fact" that I must have made the mistake--that the error could not have been made by H&R Block or their online programHoward refused to admit that their online program might have experienced a glitchH&R Block has reimbursed me $95, the cost of using their online programHowever, this income tax return error substantially impacted my property tax payment and has cost me a $211/month increase in my mortgageAs I said in my initial complaint, if H&R Block can show direct evidence of my having made the error, then I will ask for no more--I will close my complaintUnless they can do that, I am asking for compensation for the substantial financial burden I will incur as a result of this mistake Regards, [redacted] ***
