Hi ***, We're sorry for any frustration trying to cancel your service with usYou can cancel your service anytime directly in your profile pageYou can also cancel any unwanted booking directly in your bookings pageWhen you signed up for service you selected to have bookings every weeksUnless you cancel your service bookings will continue to be generated based on the frequency selectedAll future bookings have been canceled and the recurring cycle has been deactivatedIf you turned away a professional for your October [redacted] booking per our cancellation policy the charge for the booking is nonrefundable Best, Dinis

Fraudulent Company No phone number on websiteNo way to contact and get a a response No way to delete credit information online They make unauthorized transactions to credit card Never enter this fraudulent company's website!!

At this point we have been working with the customer to resolve this claimWe have been in contact with the Police and our third-party insurance adjustment companyWe hope to get this resolved as soon as possible and this past week adjusters were sent to the customers home as well as the police have opened an investigationAt this point time is the only thing that is needed to resolve this issue

This customer's plan has been cancelled and no fee was processed They can confirm that their plan has been cancelled from the Bookings page of there account They received an email confirmation of this cancellation as well

This is very upsettingI can't even get a single person, a single real person to respond to my complaintsIt's really hard to get ahold of someone that works at handythe cleaning lady arrive minutes late, she said that the app was giving her the wrong address and etcI realize a week later that I have a couple shoes stolen from meIt was obviously her and I'm trying to get ahold of Handy, but on their website its only showing you certaint problems that they could handle and what to doAnd everything is very not personalI am very upset I had to deal with HandyAnd I heard that there's tons of people that are giving negative reviews in are extremely upsetThis should not even be a company!!! This is very upsetting

Hello ***, We'd like to sincerely apologize that you had trouble resolving your issues via our Help Center onlineI'd love to give you a helping hand so we can resolve this for you as soon as possible After looking in to your payment history with us, I found that you did at one point have separate accounts with usI could find the second account by searching our database by your phone numberYou had one Handy account associated by this email: [redacted] (Cancelled on Dec [redacted] at pm) And a second Handy account with a small difference by this email: [redacted] (Cancelled on Feb [redacted] at 10:am) On Dec [redacted] you wrote in to our team requesting a refund for the Dec [redacted] bookingThis refund of $was already issued as of Dec [redacted] to the card we had on file for you which had the last digits: ***If you do not see this refund reflected in your records you will need to speak with your bank provider We can only issue refunds back to the credit card you made the original purchase On the second account you were not aware of ( [redacted] ) was when your bookings for Jan [redacted] and Feb [redacted] occurredThe credit card we had on file for this account had the last digits: ***I just issued a refund today for $for the booking that occurred on Jan ***Please allow 3-business days before you see these funds reflected in your recordsYou were already refunded $for the booking on Feb [redacted] on Feb ***You should see this in your records no later than Monday, Feb *** We apologize again for any frustration we have caused you while using our servicesBoth accounts have been cancelled so you will no longer receive our services unless you decide to book with us again in the futureIf you do not see the refunds that have already been issued you will have to speak with your bank provider about transferring your funds to the correct bank account Best, Dinis

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved However, I dispute Handy's claim that the professional showed up and waited for an hour I was at home and I even texted the professional and received no response I probably have records of those texts demonstrating that the professional never responded The claim that the professional showed up and waited is false Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We have already been in contact with this customer and provided them with a full refund for the service that was not provided on April ***Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer anything further

Handy is not a business that I recommend to anyoneThey are untrustworthy, and they do not care about their customers - Handy sent a cleaner to my house who was afraid of dogs, even though it was noted on my account that I have a golden retriever - Handy then failed to respond to my email about how to prevent that in the future - A few weeks later Handy then reschedules my cleaning to a week in the future, but gives me only hours notice - A week later, at 8am on the day of that rescheduled cleaning, Handy reschedules it again, but this time to 9amI'm not awake at this point, so a cleaner shows up, waits around and then leaves - I wake up, realize what happened, and emailed Handy, asking for a refund and to cancel my service - They no longer accept emails, and force me to call them, which I do - The woman on the phone takes about minutes to understand what happened, confirms that she cancelled my service, and sends the refund request to a different department - A week later, I get another email from Handy about my service scheduled for the next day - I immediately call them, and tell them again to cancel my bookingsThe woman on the phone hangs up on me - I call again, they confirm my bookings are cancelled, but they won't refund tomorrow's booking, citing their cancellation policy (hours) - They have no record that I tried to cancel my future bookingsThey acknowledge I called, but refuse to refund the cancellation fee - I send them the email I originally sent as proof that I tried to cancelThey say I should have tried to contact them through the phone - They still haven't refunded me the original appointment, and I see another appointment fee and a cancellation fee being posted to my credit card - They've wasted literally hours of my time, and refuse to give my money back

I signed up for a promotional home cleaning with this website because of their ad on the [redacted] subway The first cleaner left after a half hour without doing any workI called Handy to report this, and they scheduled a replacement for the next day who never showed upA third cleaner did show up two days later but they did not do a good enough job that I would ever want to use this service againHandy agreed to credit me for the bad bookings, and I requested by email- sent directly to one of their customer service reps- that they cancel any future bookings because I did not intend to use them again After about a month they began billing my credit card for cleaning bookings that I did not request and that never occurredIn all my credit card was charged over $I called a customer service rep and requested that Handy reimburse me, but they told me that because I had never cancelled the recurring appointments they could not help meAfter explaining multiple times that I had in fact cancelled the appointments, I insisted on speaking to the supervisor, who told me the same thing, that they would not grant me a refund It was not until I directed her to the actual email I sent that the supervisor finally conceded that my request to cancel was in their system and that they would provide a refundI have yet to see these fraudulent charges refunded to my credit card, and I feel victimized by their bad business practices multiple times over The Revdex.com should look into this company to see if there is a pattern of fraudulent activity like this with other customers I would strongly advise that people steer clear of this company, beware of online subscription services, and especially beware of any promotional offers from Handy.com

As a subscription service, we do not offer one time cleanings All fees, including cancellation fees for early termination, are outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which are agreed upon when confirming the first booking [redacted] 's $fee has been refunded and plan cancelled There are no bookings confirmed for future dates, nor will any be generated automatically [redacted] can confirm this from the Bookings page of her account
