I created an account with Hello Fresh because a friend gave me a code for a free box I signed up, ordered the box and then went in and paused my subscription NO WHERE on the website does it state your subscription automatically reactivates after weeks and you begin getting charged again I was charged for a box I didn't want and couldn't afford I thought to myself it must have been my mistake because I definitely paused my subscription, so I went back into the website and diligently checked to make sure I was pausing my subscription AGAIN, and no where did it say it was temporary Today I went back in to check and my subscription had been reactivated without my knowledge and with no email informing me of such I then went to permanently deactivate my account and realized that when you do that it asks if you just want to pause your account, which is where I had been misled in the past This time I clicked "deactivate." The website then asks me if I had a problem with my service and I clicked "yes, I would like to speak with customer service." A window popped up saying that someone would contact me within days about my service It then takes you back to the website, BUT DOESN'T DEACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT! There are TONS of complaints online with consumer affairs about how purposely complicated cancelling is, and I think something needs to be done about it This business needs to be held accountable for their practices

When I first signed up for hellofresh I thought is was a cool thing that you get means delivered to your home that you can cook for your family weeklyWhen I decided to subscribe to hellofresh my delivery never cameI called days later and customer service told me they tried to deliver the food but I didnt have a door man, which is nonsense because I indicated specifically that I do not have a door man and I live in an apartment buildingMy packages could have easily been deliver and simply chose not to give me what I payed forthe representative then told me that she would make a note on my delivery information to ring my door bell since someone is always homeMy package was supposed to arrive days later and It never cameI called again only to find out my account information was altered and my information could not be foundWhen the problem was finally resolved the representative told me my package was damaged on the way to my home I have reason to suspect HelloFresh tried to scam me and lied about ever even trying to delivering my package and made it seem as if I was never a customer to begin withI will not use HelloFresh ver again and will highly recommend no one use HelloFresh for meals

After receiving a link for a free try-out for Hello Fresh from a co-worker, I accepted the offer and to my surprise the meal was two days late and disgustingI decided to cancel the subscription so that I would not be charged but was told that I cancelled too lateI cancel the order the next day after receiving the productWhen I called for a refund, waiting at least an half hour for the supervisor, they refusedI was told that I will receive credit for my next order, an order I clearly did not wantHello Fresh has a strict policy that if you choose to have you order delivered on Saturdays, you have until midnight the following Monday to cancel for a full refundIt doesn't matter if you receive your order two days late (on Monday instead of Saturday) like I didThey don't care if your order does not arrive on time you still must cancel an order that you have not yet received

I am a first time customerI was very excited to try hello fresh! I work full time as a Nurse Care Manager, have several volunteer commitments, and am in grad school part time to be a Nurse PractitionerIt would be great if I had healthy food delivered to my door and I would be able to save that time! As a year old healthy professional, I believe that I am really ideally who Hello Fresh is attempting to market to This was my experience We are a no fish/ no pork house due to religious reasonsI was told I would be able to pick the items that were sent to meAt the end of ordered I got to a screen telling me to add stars to what I wantedWell, I wanted a way to say absolutely do not send fish or pork to my houseThere wasn’t anything so I called I waited on hold for minutesThis is a service to save time and I just had to wait for minutes! Only to receive a care associate who kept saying “ [redacted] ” OK she was clearly not getting it, and at some point started to get really rude and then actually hung up on meI eventually cancelled the order then got an email saying ok your last order will be ***Gosh I really do not want pork/fish coming to my house so I email asking for someone to call me Someone does call, and I leave a meeting to talk to her because I am so concerned about getting pork/fish sent to my houseMy Significant Other is Jewish, the no pork/fish thing was agreed upon when we moved in together, I need to make sure I am respectingSo she says she will order us things that are not pork/fishI am so thankful! She was really niceI think it was some sort of spaghetti, chicken tacos and steakOK, all is goodShe also waived the cost which I was pleased with considering the mess I have been through with hello fresh So then my package arrived ***It had shell fish, and porkBig big no nosAlso I am almost positive there was only steak, I can’t imagine needing to cut in half a steak for thisI gave the box to a neighbor I called and let them know, they said that they would send me a $reimbursement for my next boxNext box, no, I cancelledThis place is absolutely terrible, never, never again

I have had a very positive experience with HelloFresh We began their weekly food delivery service over weeks ago and have had only one minor hiccup which was promptly addressed and corrected beyond my satisfaction The company's delivery policies are plainly detailed on their website as well as detailed information for pausing and/or canceling service There is a weekly deadline to submit changes or cancellations If you make that there are no problems Every box of food we have received has been fresh and well packaged My family loves it! I have and will continue to recommend to family and friends

I have signed up for their service and have had a great experience It is always on time, the food is fresh and the recipes are tasty! In order that I don't get a box that I do not want, I actually keep a calendar with the cut off dates and the upcoming menus I subscribe to of these meal plans and this one is one of my favorites

The WORST customer service from Hello Freshhey try a fee box of this great, amazing and! Okay, sure as long as it's freeGet the box, everything inside is spoiled and smells completely rottenCall and request to cancel the accountI have absolutely no interest in trying another box after seeing and smelling "that" The next day, wait, why is my account charged $70?? Call, request a refund, cancel the account because it wasn't done the first timeBut no, another box is on its way to you tomorrow and we can't give you a refundIt's too lateUmNo, I don't want another boxThe one I got to begin with was spoiledI'd like my $back pleasedays later, another $chargeI call, raise hell and am told I will be receiving a refund and sorry for any inconvenienceTwo weeks later, only one $refund and I speak with two different supervisors where I'm told I won't get my money back because I agreed to the terms and conditionsGTFO!!! The absolute worst customer service I've ever had in my entire lifeIn disbelief that people can be such is!!

What a terrible experienceA service we may have considered in the future we will now never consider and I will discourage others from ever usingWe received a free order gift from familyAs many others have said, they manipulatively require your bank info and charged us againAnd because the order has supposedly already shipped, they refuse to refund the moneyI'm sure this second order will be filled with soggy disgusting boxes and expired rotten food once againThis company is appalling and I will discourage anyone j come across from using themI am so upset by thieving companies such as thisTo top it off, the customer service representative was entirely rudeUnreal
