I had paused my Hello Fresh account for a couple of months (during the summer when I was travelling a lot) I tried to login to my account and to review menus and decide if I wanted to start receiving food again Was unable for two weeks to login after emails and a call to them Was never able to get back into the account I even responded to their email inquiry about the level of customer service I received, and told them it was awful No one ever followed up with me So today I received an email that a shipment was on its way I called HF and they refused to give me a full refund (eventually got half refund after speaking to a supervisor) Customer service was nasty, unresponsive, and I have cancelled my account Overall I thought the food was ok, not a terrible value, but their customer service people have no clue Sorry but will have to conclude that they really didn't want my business

I received a gift card for three FREE meals with an Omaha Steak order The meals are not freeThis is the chat conversation with customer service:

Extremely poor customer service There was an error on their part sending an order that was paused because we were moving A call was made to the company within minutes of receiving notification that an order was coming They would not correct the problem, on top of it, the order was going to the wrong address

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Starting with the 1st shipment, my food has been delivered consistently late, to the point of it coming at 1:30amI was denied a refund and told my Only option was to accept another credited delivery That delivery also came after midnight As shown in one of the attachments, I was told the late delivery would not happen again I have probably other emails from different reps saying different things but could only attach here Sending paid customers food unfit for human consumption time and time again, and refusing to refund them should be illegal.

We love for our customers to share their referral codes with friends and family through their social media accounts (***,***,***) or through emails, but we make it very clear that customers cannot put their codes on commercial sites This particular customer's referral code was
found on a commercial site, so we had to remove the credit If the customer can confirm their referrals by sending us the names and/or email addresses of their friends, then we will gladly reinstate the credit Please see the attached screenshot of our Refer-A-Friend FAQs

HelloFresh contacted me to let me know that they would be refunding only half of my moneyI told them that this was not acceptable as, since I had received NO food, they did have the right to keep any of my moneyThat was several days ago and I have yet to hear back from themI will not resolve this complaint until I have received all my money back
