my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

 I have previously attempted to resolve the issue directly with the business but to no avail. They have failed repeatedly to respond to my requests for written statements of my account and reported me as late to a credit bureau for failing to pay bills I never received. The reason I turned to the Revdex.com is that Citi has failed to respond to my requests directly or adequately.

nothing to resolve my complaint. I have paid $3100 on the card and will continue to pay it down until I no longer have a balance and then will cut up the card. They are the worst credit card company and I recommend to stay away from Citi. They are unethical and take advantage of their customers. Just look at how many complaints are against them!

Citi has sent me a letter. But not refunded the $95 annual fee. The letter says I was given the option to pick a card with no annual fee. But that is completely not true. They do point out that I did accept the terms and conditions, which is true. I'm sure it was somewhere in a huge long seperate page with the full terms and conditions. I don't deny that they wrote it somewhere. My complaint is that it should of been upfront in the advertisement. There are a couple important things people want to know when getting a credit card, and if the card has a annual fee it should be clear. They write in big lettering that you get $100 for signing up, but the fact that they charge you $95 to get the card is buried in the terms and conditions. This was very sneaky. I know they aren't going to refund it, but they lost a customer. Hopefully this complaint helps others to be cautious and read the fine print with Citi bank

them to approve my identity couple of times. I even try to assure them with going to the any nearby branch for that issue with any needed verification documents, they refused!. Also they refused to verify me with a phone number that is already in my file for couple of years now. that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
 Citibank has just reiterated their position and not addressed any of my concerns.  This response strikes me as a blatant attempt to get me to click "resolved" so that this does not show on their Revdex.com record, without having addressed my complaint.  I will NOT accept this complaint as resolved until Citi gives me the 50,000 Aadvantage miles that they owe, due to their misleading advertising.

The business did not adequately address my issue. Their response is open-ended. They give no time as to when I will be contacted nor as to who will be contacting me. They also do not explain their position on the matter. Their response makes it seem as though they have not looked into the matter, and rather opted to send a boiler-plate response. They can easily proceed and do nothing after sending that message to the Revdex.com which will leave me once again at a deficit.

We have received the customer's complaint and will respond to the customer within 14 days.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I have received no further communication beyond which I noted in the earlier response rejection.  In that earlier correspondence, the only resolution offered was the same position that led to this complaint in the first place: Despite having done nothing wrong in 20+ years as a customer and receiving no warning about pending closure, I would have to submit to a full credit check to re-open my account.  This is not good customer service and so I must reject this response as inadequate.
