not giving what we paid for
lie after lie after lie
never returning phone calls
deceptive actions
In March of we paid XXXXX dollars to have
hurricane impact windows installed, of the windows in the rear were replaced with a picture window with
a sliding window on each side, the windows in the front of the house have grids as they were suppose to have, the sliding windows in the rear did not
as they were suppose toMy wife called and spoke to *** and told him and also although the window in the bedroom was not suppose to have grids could he
would do it and we would have them in weeksweeks went by more weeks and after we called and called never getting a call back, finally *** sent the man who originally measured the windows
with the wrong size windows, mistake, are you kidding, he said he would order the right sized and it would be weeksno showwith a few calls to a man named Josh we would have our windows and josh never returned calls alsoh

Very unreputable, would not recommend to anyone Bad service Consumer beware Workers were excellent but the office help is terrible Home Performance Alliance IncBad

I do enjoy her knowledge on the product she sales she is very down to earth , would recommend her for sure

They installed my windows in one day and scheduled to return to finish the touch up workOn Saturday the company VP called to say I overpaid and a check would be in the mail that dayMy windows are beautiful and add value to my home

My wife and I scheduled a presentation from a representative from Home Performance alliance and were very impressed with the presentation and the products they were offeringWe signed a contract and them after thinking our decision over the next day we realized that we had not done enough due diligence before making this decision and decided that we wanted to cancel and make, additional searches for a comparable productI sent a letter rejecting the contract within the hour period provided in the contractHome Performance issued us a full refund of our deposit and we appreciated there quick refund

Did not provide us with one of the hurricane shields we paid for and will not return our phone calls to resolve this issue
We purchased hurricane windows and shields for our home in MayAfter they were installed in July, we discovered that they installed one shield on the wrong window and also a non impact window when we ordered and paid for an impact windowThis was discovered when we failed the home inspectionAfter multiple phone calls and several weeks these issues were correctedWhat hasn't been corrected, is that we are still waiting for one of the three hurricane shields we orderedWe have left messages for Misty who is supposedly the person who is responsible for this and have received no return callsI'm sick of thisWe are going on six months of waiting for this to be completedWe have been patientMy patience and doneThere is no excuse for not delivering on a product we paid for almost six months agoI'm filing this complaint because no one will return our

We signed contact with HPA at September Today is January and we still have to wait another weeks for the last window to be fixedThe overall impression of this company - they have a serious logistic and organizing problem to deliver GREAT QUALITY WINDOWSHere is the time track of our sad experience
Sept - signed contact and agreed to pay whole amount by our credit card
We waited 4-weeks until our windows and porch sliding door were manufacturedWe had a great installation team - "Terry and Terry"They are actually done excellent job and once reason we didn't sue HPA yetSo, result of the first installation - front window was delivered cracked and installed that wayI guess they wanted to claim "warranty" rather than blame delivery/transportation issuesThan the sliding door was huge side and didn't fit our walls properlyLater they told that they send us a wrong modelOk, we waited next 4-weeks for front window and sliding doorFront window finally arrived but sliding door came without screeningSo we waited again for few weeks for the screeningFinally it arrived and got installedThe screening had sharp metal corners from not fine metal cutsso we waited again few weeksFinally somewhere in December everything was completedNow it is time for inspection that never arrived for the first appointment and finally in January we got it doneGuess what - bathroom window wasnt in accordance with a codeIt supposed to be temperedNow we need to wait another 4-weeks until the bath window will be made and deliveredthan again wait for inspection
On top of that long extra wait - we got a letter today from Greensky loan company that we own them money with interest, fees and charges! So HPA financed us through them without our permission while we told their salesperson that we will pay everything by ourselves
The bottom line is - bed organizing and logistics issuesSoft-Life Windows were great and we love themTheir installation team did a GREAT job and highly appreciatedBut HPA experience was horribleTry to find someone else to install new windows

Home performance alliance did a nice job on my mom's home They completed the work when they said they would when I had a few detailed questions during the process vice president during the process vice president Peter V what is there for me They did a very nice job
I would recommend them

HPA scheduled days to install windows with no show, lack of communication with office and installerNo answer when calledPressure & harassing calls
We were shown windows 1/27/We were pressured to make the decision that day or risk losing the deal of "showcase home" priceWe were supposed to have been taken care of and made to believe that we were going to be top priority and receive the best serviceThey scheduled a installation date for 3/18/at 9amThey called at 9:and told us they had to reschedule because someone didn't show upWe rescheduled for 3/21/between 9am-12pm, no showCalled office at 10:no answerCalled again at 11:and spoke to the office who told us she would have the installer call us and give us an ETAWe received a call at 4pm from the installer saying he was on his way, but we were no longer available to have the windows installedThe installer rescheduled with us for the next morning 3/22/because he had the windows on his truckThe

After work was done installing a house full of windows, a promise was made to cover re-installation of window contactsThe company defaulted promise
We first contracted with Home Performance Alliance to replace and install all windows in our home (14)on December 19, The work was completed on January 31, We were set for inspection on 2/13,Inspection failed first time around due to missing fastenersThe company sent out a repair person and installed the missing fasteners
In the mean time, our house was left unsecured due to the disagreement in covering the cost of the contactsEven though alliance agreed to cover the total cost, the cost was more than anticipated ($150)We were told the cost would be $by the security company we haveWe initially agreed to cover half if they would pay the other half even though it was in writing that they would cover the entire cost
But, because they have out right lied to use on several occasions we would like Alliance to

My wife and I placed our order for windows and then the waiting, expected and understood, process beganUpdates were only given when we called company not that big of a dealMonday May 21, HPA was scheduled to come out and start installing windows*Note* I'm paying this company just short of 22,dollars for windows* To continue, they showed up at a reasonable time and at first everything seemed to be going greatThen things took a turn for the worst which would have eventually involved police had it escalated any furtherThe company sent a team of guys to install my windowsI'll refer to these individuals as main guy in charge, installers(1,2) and trim guyAfter install of living room windows main guy in charge noticed installers and didn't properly install them which were causing them not open properlyAfter grabbing his level, main guy in charge realized that the windows needed to come back out in order to fix this issueSO, main guy and installer began to remove windows while installer and trim guy worked on removing a different windowAfter making proper adjustments to drywall Main guy and installer began installing the windows againMain guy in charge was outside bracing window while installer was inside attempting to screw window into placeInstaller was either to short or not getting proper leverage and told main guy to hold onInstaller then left and shortly returned carrying a small ladder with himMain guy noticed this and told installer NOT to set this down on my hardwood floors as the bottom did not have the proper pads and could damage my floorInstaller didn't like this and out of frustration tossed ladder to side on hardwood floors anywayResult, scratches to BRAND NEW hardwood floorsMind you I purchased home months ago and everything WAS brand new! To continue once window was installed Main guy in charge came inside carried ladder out and apologized about installer 1's actionsTold him no big deal just please be careful as the house is new and the last thing I want to have to worry about is fixing damaged floors after paying 22,for windowsMain guy in charge then left to check on installer and trim guyInstaller then began to complain to me about pay rateThis was completely unacceptableInstaller and installer then began to replace children bedroom windowWhen they removed this window they forgot to remove ADT sensor and now I needed to call ADT and pay to have these replaced (stressed this issue at beginning of job)Install here seemed to have gone smoothlyMoving to kitchen windows, Bay window was measured incorrectly(again it happens so I wasn't upset about that) so they moved to kitchen side windowsInstaller and began removing side windows and as pieces were removed they simply were thrown against hardwood floorEND result, Damage to hardwood floorInstaller at this point and main guy in charge asked installer to be carefulInstaller began arguing with installer and main guy in chargeThey stepped outside in an effort to eliminate customer observation at this point however, the screaming, swearing and basically fist fighting that shortly transpired after was hardly unnoticeableEven ALL of my surrounding neighbors have had words with me regarding this evolution not to mention that all of my kids were now subjected to random men swearing and basically fist fighting in my backyardMain guy in charge then broke up argument, installer and main guy in charge began to install removed window while installer disappearedShortly after installer returned from the sound of my doors (all solid doors inside, not hollow) being slammed and I mean SLAMMED shut and even opened to the point where door put a hole in my guest bedroom wallAt this point installer began flipping household items that he felt were "in the way" of window instead of just moving itemI needed to interveneMain guy in charge could see the aggravation on my face and decided the job needed to end at this point and told me they would need to come back later in the week to finish the jobDuring clean up trim guy asked for paper towels and come to find out there is a stain on the BRAND New carpet within guest bedroomFor a customer who's paying 22,for windows I expected way better care to be taken of my home and Main guy in charge is really the only reason I'm still willing to let this company replace windows in my house**Fast forward to today and Main guy in charge texted me and informed me that management within this company has blamed him for everything and end result was he wasn't going to get paid for any of the work he did on my house and informed me that he will be placing a labor lien against my home for the work he has completedAs far as I'm concerned as the customer/homeowner these are completely unacceptable things that I should have to be dealing with so legal might be my only solution

This is our second time doing business with Home Performance Alliance and both times have been great experiencesOur Project Manager, Jason M., has been very helpful and knowledgeableWe have had nothing less than excellent serviceI would recommend this company to anyone looking to upgrade their windows/doors in their home

bad installation of window, no directions on use of hurricane covers, they should never have sold this product to a senior citizen
I was told that I would save at least $per monthThe rep knew exactly how many windows were being replaced in my home, yet he STILL made that verbal guarantee
So, as far as energy saving is concerned, I have saved NOTHINGMy electric bill is worse than ever
The sales rep never told me that there would be huge screws drilled into the block around the windowsHe should have spelled things out plain and simpleSuch as the fact that I'd have to climb a ladder to put these shields up and screw them downI am a senior citizen, so that is not going to happenThe rep should have explained the benefits and drawback of my decision
This company still needs to lay out the shields and MARK them accordingly, so that if there is a storm at least I know which one goes where
Quite frankly I felt pressured into signing, the contractHe was quick to

Failure to finish service after install and company got their money
We paid for new windows in January and waited several months before they were installedOnce installed they cracked a window sill, left torn screens and then sent out the county to inspect after we called to advise that the screens were tornThe county failed the inspection for that and for us not having the proper paperwork, which they provided after we failed the inspectionWe called many, many times leaving messages with no return calls also asking for higher upThey finally sent someone to fix the window sill and replace the screens and we finally passed inspection in 7/months after they received over $5,Now we have been waiting since we passed inspection on 7/for them to finish the trim workI have called times within the last week and nobody will return my callsThis company is quick to take your money, but will not complete the job you paid forThey should be shut down

HorribleDisgustingA waste of time, money and stress
We purchased windows back in SeptemberWe got them installed in October sometimeWe ordered hurricane windows and one of those windows was suppose to be obscured since it is in our master bath that faces the neighborhoodThey gave us the wrong windowWe tried several times to get a hold of someoneIt wasn't till I sent a less then pleasant email in November about this issueThey finally contacted us and said we would get the right window by the end of NovemberWhen that didn't happen, I wrote another email in December, because again, our calls got ignoredWe were told the window would be installed by the end of DecemberWe are now in the middle of January and still no window with no contactAt this time we cannot use our master bath because we do not feel like giving the entire neighborhood a showI am extremely disgusted with the level of customer service this company has provided, or should I say the lack of customer service

Just wanted to take a minute and say what a great experience we had with Home Performance AllianceMy wife and I purchased a year home and we wanted to replace the windows for several reasonsAfter doing some research we were not sure if we could afford to do this or notBut to our surprise the team at HPA was able to put together a package that we could afford
From the first sales meeting to the final project completion we were always informed as to status and key datesThere were couple of very minor issues, which I expected when replacing all of the windows in a year old homeThese issues were addressed in a very timely manner and to our complete satisfaction
HPA is a company that both my wife and I have recommended to family and friendsBottom line, they did a great job for us

I had a lovely experience with Home Performance Alliance They were very professional and were able to resolve any issues that came up efficiently I would highly recommend them I have a second home In Naples, Florida and the windows are secure and I feel comfortable that my home will be safe when I am not there
