Home Performance Alliance replaced all our old windows and everyone was great From our initial meeting to the installation process everybody was just as helpful as could beMy husband and I have already shared this experience with all our neighbors and several have also used HPA They're a great and reliable option when replacing windows

I am a homeowner that lives in Clearwater Florida. I have purchased replacement windows from Home Performance Alliance and must say that the sales, service, and installation was a pleasant experience. The manager (Neal) came and gave thorough details and helped me save money by showing me how this pays for itself. Everyone complains when things go bad but this is certainly a positive here.

I recently had windows installed by this company. The windows seem to be great. However, the entire installation process has been a nightmare. Two different people measured my windows on two separate occasions. Apparently, neither one of them measured some of the windows correctly since on the date of installation, 3 of my windows were the incorrect size. The installers actually went ahead and installed one of the windows without advising me it was the incorrect size. I noticed when I tried to close the window that it was properly installed. The other two windows had to be reordered. One of the screens was damaged and one of the screens on my bedroom window is already falling out. The building inspector came out and ALL of the windows failed inspection. I rescheduled a date/time for the installers to return to my home to correct the defect in installation and nobody showed up for the appointment. Next I received a call from the inspection department advising me they needed to reschedule my inspection since "my issue had been resolved." When I called back to tell her my issue had not been resolved since nobody showed up, I was transferred to another department. This person thought the appointment had been scheduled for Wednesday instead of Friday and didn't remember the appointment had been rescheduled for February 11th. Overall, this has been a terrible experience causing me to take time off from work and still not having my windows completed after 2 1/2 months.

I had Home performance install 4 windows and one French door last October and am still waiting for the job to be completed. I thought it was a small problem, they put the wrong color knob on the door and the sill is not supported in the center. After 3 failed attempts to get the right color knob which resulted in the wrong one all 3 times with the last one being the installation of an extended length handle which required an additional hole in the door, and was again the wrong color. On none of these visits was the sill even addressed. I have now been waiting over a month for a replacement for the door that has a hole in it. Well today was the day with an appointment scheduled for Twelve noon. I arrived home a 11:50 am but no door representatives ever showed up. It took two phone calls to get an answer as to why. When I called the second time I was told that they were there earlier and no one was home. Well DUH the appointment was for 12:00 not earlier. Each of these repair attempts resulted in my missing work. HPA customer service is terrible. Please do not use them you will be sorry. Who knows when I will get this resolved.

All the installers were polite and courteous. Was very careful with any items inside the rooms,cleaned up after, not leaving it to the next day.

On sept 8,2016 I entered into a contract with this company to have windows put in my liana . had vinyl windows. Salesperson suggested a so called wonder wall (sliding glass window) He said he would need 4000.00 dollars down to start production . promised cruise if we put up signage and passed [redacted] around neighborhood, showcase. salesperson said engineer would be here in a week to draw up for permit and production and re measure. On Oct 9 called salesperson to find out where engineer was and find out status. Salesperson seem upset that we were calling him on this. didn't remember who we where. Engineer showed up on Oct 11tated I would have plans for HOA in a week,.On Nov 11 call company to find out where plans where stated they would call back never did .Called again on Nov 16 sent email still no response receive plans on Nov 18 HOA approved plans Nov 29 I called this company @ least twice a week over next couple of week for we needed this completed before holiday. every time call person in charge was in meeting and would call back .out of 10 times return call once. when I said I was going lawyer a VP called me back and assured be we would be taken care of. When I called him back he never return calls either. Finally on Jan 18 started construction. On Jan 19 they discovered when installing windows they were wrong size Left. these leaning up against fence until call 4 days later to have removed before they got broken. On Jan 27 put in right window completed job after 4month 3weeks. During last month I decide to have my wife call salesperson told her after all that we had been thru we will make you get a $200.00 gift certificate to a rest never happened. Sent a project manager to collect balance stated he would correct sales issues and gift card never responded. Customer service for this company is very poor they do not call anyone back always have excuses or blame another company they are dealing with I Believe if I didn't make calls I still be waiting>

To say that I had the worst experience with Home Performance Alliance is an understatement. So unorganized and no one communicates. No one every calls you back and they never do what they say. I would never recommend this company to anyone!
