March 5, 2018[redacted]Re: Revdex.com Complaint (“Revdex.com”) Case [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]:This is in response to your complaint filed on December 4, 2017, with the Revdex.com of Western Pennsylvania regarding your PNC Bank, National Association (“PNC”), Core credit card account ending in #xxx (“Account”). I was unsuccessful in reaching you, but I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.According to your complaint and our records, on March 12, 2016, you visited the PNC Winchester branch located at 846 Bypass Road, Winchester, KY 40391 (“Branch”). During your visit, you stated that the Branch representative told you the Account was interest free. This visit resulted in an application for a credit card for which you were approved, but you state you later discovered you were assessed interest starting in July 2017. You requested that PNC refund the interest assessed to your Account.PNC takes very seriously its commitment to conduct business in a professional manner. Upon receipt of the complaint, PNC reviewed this matter and determined that the Branch followed proper procedures while presenting the credit card to you. We found no evidence to substantiate your claim that you were told the Account would be interest free for the life of the Account. Interest rate information is provided to you in PNC Bank Interest Rate and Fee Disclosures that were included with your credit card when the Account was opened. Additionally, the ending date of the promotion is shown on your monthly Account statements. A copy of the disclosure is enclosed for your reference. As no bank error occurred, PNC respectfully declines your request to have the interest refunded on your Account.I appreciate the opportunity to clarify PNC's position in this matter.
