was re-booked after the booking was automatically cancelled due to missed balance payment. We have the ability to get you re-booked with the same property/owner if the owner confirms availability and I'm sorry that on this occasion, we were unable to help you. We must clarify that you are aware of the balance payment and all deposits are non-refundable. It is also true that the reminder emails are courtesy emails only as we have no control where your email provider distributes the emails from us.You are aware that the deposit payment is non-refundable (including the booking fee) when you submit the payment details, this booking had a strict cancellation policy. Their response is a misrepresentation and is not truthful about their attitude or treatment of our business in relationship to this complaint. We will document what happened for you.The attached documents will show that we received TWO emails telling us that they would not remove the review. The initial response was a total blow off. The second email was not only a blow off, but an attempt to hide behind some kind of a "loop hole" that our property doesn't fit the proper classification for the review to be removed.SO THEIR RESPONSE to this complaint, IS A complete LIE, with the exception of the stated resolution.  The problem review was removed but only AFTER I replied to the 2nd email with all the screen shots from the potential guest and 2 pages of written information.An award winning property with a paid listing should not have to spend hours documenting proof of a bad potential guest who never arrived and has made no monetary investment in TripAdvisor, regardless of the "type" of property (hotel, b&b, vacation rental, etc.) they were attempting to stay with.And TripAdvisor should not lie about what they did in response to our dispute.The problem review has been removed from their site. We will consider this matter closed.  In this case we had to choose between the two hard lines of Accept or Reject.  We are choosing Reject so that we can set the record straight, however the ultimate outcome is resolved as the problem review has been removed.

I am reaching out regarding the unresolved complaint. #[redacted] The consumer reached out to Revdex.com with concerns over their claim for a refund following choosing to leave a property they booked due to cleanliness issues. They addressed the rental was fraudulent, we received a complaint that the property was small and dirty. Upon investigating the claim we identified the rental was not fraudulent as the property existed and the consumer was able to access the property she booked online. We offer Payment Protection to our travellers in the event they are denied access or the property has been misrepresented. We express in our terms that cleanliness issues cannot be covered in our policy please see the full page of Payment Protection Terms that is presented to the consumer when they book- Payment Protection Terms   Whilst we cannot cover cleanliness in Payment Protection we do review the depth of the cleanliness issues and may provide refunds at our discretion, in this case we were presented with photos to support the claim but did not deem the cleanliness issues to be severe, in this case the property owner should have been given the chance to resolve this before they left the property and requested a full refund, emphasis on resolving the issue with the owner/manager in our Payment Protection Terms below: When we are unable to cover a consumers claim for Payment Protection our priority is always to help both parties reach an amicable agreement allowing them to move on, by way of doing this we facilitate the communication between both parties and encourage them to work together on a solution. Please note the consumer who booked the reservation was not Lyn Keller but Verne Keller, this is why emails are addressed to him. The email above was the last communication that was sent to the customer on 16th January 2016, since then the customer has not contacted us. Before and following the Revdex.com communication we made numerous attempts to facilitate communication between both parties, please see our emails to the consumer and the owner requesting them to contact each other to resolve this.  Emails to the property owner/manager before Revdex.com complaint The customer claimed during the Revdex.com process her intentions were not to seek a full refund from us, but receive better help in contacting the owner/manager.
