Some did contact meShe did not have any of the specific information about my complaint and I had to go through the whole problem again with herThen she said she would escalate the call to the "complaint department" and someone would "hopefully" get back with me within hours.More waste of my time and NO resolution

We appreciate Mr*** bringing this matter to our attention and apologize for any confusion that arose during the booking process. Reminder notifications are sent out to every guest to provide assistance when making a balance paymentThe balance payment does have an expiration date, and
if it is not paid within that time line then it is automatically cancelled and funds are sent to the property owner. If this occurs, and a guest has an intention to still continue with the reservation, ideally the owner would need to send out a payment quote for the remaining amountOnce this new payment quote is paid, the booking can continue as intendedIn this case, Mr*** attempted to re-book the property for the entire amountThis booking was reinstated by the owner and paid in full.Since we have been notified of this confusion regarding the deposit payment, we have been able to reach out to this property owner on Mr***’s behalfThe owner is intending to provide a direct refund for that deposit payment of EURThe remaining booking fees will be returned from TripAdvisor once the owner sends the deposit payment to this guest.We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused, but are pleased to see that this situation is being resolved swiftly for Mr***A senior representative has been in contact with Mr*** and provided further clarificationIf any additional assistance is needed, he can reply to that email directly

Your comment and picture were not from my bookingMy booking was due 3/20/and even if it was eastern standard time, that would not have been 5:am Arizona Time.....There is only a hour differenceNOT the time you are registering4:PM Tuesday, in Eastern Time is 1:PM Tuesday, Phoenix, AZ (MST)Therefore your response is NOT ACCURATE....I had until 3/20/NO WHERE ON THE PAGE THAT I BOOKED DID IT STATE A TIME..The problem is you have the date on your booking page when people login to see where they have to pay and date that it has to be completedThere is NO TIME on the pageThis is not acting appropriately at allThe time and zone should be CLEARLY shownI do not accept your response at all

In response to your email, I am providing a copy of the email that was sent to us from Trip Advisor advising us of the investigative team's decision regarding the so-called damages to the home You will notice at the bottom of the email it says to contact TripAdvisor with any concerns we have with the settlement When we attempted to contact TripAdvisor, we were told that our booking never happened....This is such poor business practice and we are quite taken aback by the way this situation has been handled The email that the trip was booked under was *** and the booking number is listed in YOUR email below We fully expect this situation to be resolved and for our money to be returned as we in NO WAY damaged the owner's property We were never provided with any proof or evidence of damage but did provide proof and statements of the condition of the home We thank you for your time in looking into this matter Please let us know if you need more information from us Hello ***,Thank you for your last email in regards to the claim of the damage deposit referred to the booking number *** would like to kindly inform you that we have proceeded to settle this claim after analysing the proofs provided by the owner and the copies of the receipts she provided us in order to replace the damaged itemsWe have forwarded US$ to the owner of the property and the remaining US$ to youPlease allow to working days in order to receive this money in to your bank account.
