This is a fraud site. They have a "boiler room" which is their sales room, that is what the 800 number is for. They field complaints and basically try to deescalate issues so they do not have to give refunds or try to sell you. They allegedly have a legal email, [redacted]that will honor legal removal requests, they do not answer this and the people at the 800 number, a supervisor, told me THEY DO NOT EVEN GET ANSWERS. They also have [redacted]which does not answer either. This is all to lull you into a false sense they are a legitimate, but they are not. They have a hidden company that hides behind GODADDY privacy and they sell fake data. NOTHING is there behind the initial search. They also will continuously charge your card-you have to cancel your card and get a replacement to get rid of them and have them blocked, sometimes several times as they use different merchant accounts.

Review: ID True posts private information regarding my home address, work address, phone number, relatives, age, property records and many other personal facts about me. While I am aware that many sites exist that post public records, this site has an email to "opt out" but no one responds to my email opt out requests.Desired Settlement: I want my information removed from this website immediately. I've sent several emails to the company requesting that my personal information be removed without any responses. I called their support #(###-###-####) and was told I need a court order to have my info removed from their site. Other companies that collect personal information about individuals without their consent provide the option for those individual to be removed from the site. Please check out their Facebook site. Review: The idtrue website has one telephone number on it, 800.443.2205. When you call they indicate that they are an "outsource" customer service center and can only answer questions for customers. That you must sent an email to the corporate headquarters to request that your information be removed. Yet no one responds to the emails. Nor is an address or telephone number listed for the "corporate headquarters" to ask about the privacy/"opt out" policy. Review: I was alerted by my employer that there is information on this website about me and my relatives. When I check the website, the link to see a background report on myself doesn't even work, but the information on the overview page about me personally and my possible relatives is incorrect. I have contacted the business on numerous occasions to have this information either corrected or removed, but the Customer Service line is extremely unhelpful, telling me I need a court order to have anything changed on their website.
