In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on August 26, to our monthly service at $per month.'' This page also provides information on how *** could cancel before this monthly charge Finally, *** was also sent an email to the email address provided to us on the same day confirming *** access to our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins immediately and renews automatically on August 26, to our recurring monthly service at $per month.'' Accordingly, on August 26, *** card was charged $39.80 for the applicable month of service. Although our monthly charges are not refundable, *** *** was willing to make an exception for *** and provide him a refund of monthly charge totaling $39.80. I am rejecting this response because:If this is your business model, it is anti-consumer and your company deserves negative reviews. Forcing people into unwanted subscriptions under the guise of a one-time, low cost trial is misleading at best. Since I inadvertently obligated myself to your misleading service, why did I not receive a single follemail after Sept14, from your company? You never inquired about my satisfaction with your service, extended offers of other services, or found out if I had gotten a job after working with you, etc. Anytime I sign up for anything online I get follow up email communications - usually more than I want. With ResumeHelp I got nothing - not a single "thank you" or any further emails. Why is that? Clearly your business model is built on deception. YOU ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF HELPING PEOPLE FIND WORK AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT THEM? Really? How do you all sleep at night?

However, we value our customers here at Resume Help and want to do all that we can to resolve any issues they may have. As such, in addition to the prorated monthly charge of $refunded on February 5, 2016, our customer service team has provided *** with an additional refunds of monthly charges and a prorated refund of one monthly charge in the amount of $102.34. As of February 13, 2016, *** has received a refund of charges, for a total refund amount of $119.40.We trust this resolves this issue

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I canceled within the day grace period I know this for a fact, as I spoke with an employee to be sure it had been properly processed If Resume Help can find all of my account information inserted in their response email, I don't know why they don't see that I canceled I am continuing to look for the cancellation code I also don't like that this company was debiting my account on a MONTHLY basis without any kind of notification to me That isn't good business practice If there's nothing to hide, why hide? On July 18th I received an email stating $has been refunded to my account My bank called me to ask if I was aware of these monthly payments as they rejected paying the one for July.Sincerely,*** ***

agree to our Terms of Use (“ToU”) as a requirement before opening the account As stated in our ToU agreed to by all of our clients, as *** had to do, after the $14-day trial, a recurring monthly charge of $is added to the account (if the subscription has not been cancelled within the 14-day trial period). They are also non-refundable as our ToU state. Nevertheless, we want to do all that we can to successfully handle any issues our customers may have. As such, our customer service team processed today (June 12, 2018) a refund to the sole $charge in ***’s account. Please allow 3-business days for this refund to fully process. Furthermore, the account associated to this complaint was cancelled June 11, as well; therefore, no further payments will be processed to the account. We trust this resolves this issue at hand
