Review: Our Roadmaster [redacted] in our Maintenance Department was contacted direct by [redacted] from industrial Chem Labs. We have never done business with this company before and the call was solicitation as we did not contact them. As information our parent company is the BNSF Railway, we fall under the same policies and procedures and therefore do not purchase products outside of our internal ordering system. All chemicals/fuels/solvents/lubricants have to be reviewed and approved by the Environmental Health Department at the BNSF, this is different for each state. [redacted] from industrial Chem Labs repeatedly called [redacted] trying to sell him some Silicone Lubricant. [redacted] asked [redacted] if they were an approved BNSF Vendor and if so he would arrange an order through the internal ordering system, that order would have gone through me as I do all the ordering for our location. [redacted] stated on several occasions, to me as well, that Industrial Chem Labs is a vendor of the BNSF (they are not). [redacted] told [redacted] that he was not at liberty to order and left the conversation at, if they were in our internal ordering system, we would order their product through BNSF. We received the package in, unfortunately we do not have a receiving department, so it was discovered after signing for it, that this material was not authorized nor ordered and therefore needed to be returned. The material is still in the box and has not been used. When we received an invoice for the material a call was made to their Accounts Receivable Department to discuss returning this product, as it was not approved/ordered. I spoke with [redacted] who, once understood why I was calling became irritated and transferred me to [redacted]. He argued that [redacted], who works in our Maintenance Department had ordered the Silicone Lubricant and had agreed to take part of a case. When I explained that not only did [redacted] have no authority to order, this did not go through proper ordering protocol/channels, this is not an approved material to be on property and that we would not be paying the bill and would like to return the product for a full credit against the invoice. [redacted] continued to argue and state that [redacted] had indeed ordered it and that it was a "he said/he said situation" and that it didn't matter because we WERE going to pay the bill or he would send us to collections. I told him that we were not going to pay the bill as the material was never authorized or approved to be sent, Industrial Chem Labs is not a BNSF vendor and the material is not allowed on our property. He stated that they are an approved vendor (THEY ARE NOT) and that we would either pay the full amount or he could offer us a 20% restocking fee. I said no, that I would hand this over to our legal department to handle. As information I did check our system again and Industrial Chem Labs is NOT an approved vendor.Desired Settlement: We will return the product to Industrial Chem Labs, on their shipping account. We also want Invoice No. [redacted] dated 1/**/2014 in the amount of $341.61 to be cancelled and for them to stop all future contact.

Review: They told me I had 30 days risk free to try this product if we did not like this product we could return it and not be billed ,that was a lie because I called within the time frame (many phone calls) and they said that we had opened the container so they could not take that container back so I ask about the container that was not opened and he said no because it is not a full order than . Review: My Front Desk Manager received a call from Industrial Chem Labs trying to sell her their product. [redacted] informed the salesmen that she was not authorized to make purchases. Industrial Chem Labs representative told her that he could send the product to her at no charge and if we did like it we could just send it back. At no point did the representative say that if she sent it back we would have to pay for shipping and a 20% restocking fee. When she called back she explained the situation and the person said” oh didn’t I give you the number yesterday?” she said no he hadn’t because she hadn’t called yesterday. Chem Labs representative asked to give him a minute while he checked on something. Then [redacted] came on the phone and preceded to brow beat this very nice and trusting old lady, he kept interrupting her, changing the subject, asking question he wasn’t giving her time to answer, very rude to the point where she had to hand up. When he contacted me he was trying to get me to fire her, I asked him if they recorded the sales or had any kind of documentation to verify that she was told about the restocking fee or shipping and [redacted] said they don’t record their sales even though when the first sales contact was made Chem Labs representative he did say it was recorded. I told him if he could verify this I would pay. He then treated to contact out corporate office I said go ahead would you like the number. Then he asked for my email address, which I gave him.Desired Settlement: and take to product back without restocking fee and shipping

Scammed by this company. Called an unsuspecting employee of our company and asked if he could send a "FREE - at NO CHARGE" trial sample. Sample arrived damaged with an invoice following for $99.26 for this FREE trial. Do NOT do business with them.

Review: Industrial Chem Labs has solicited myself and some of my employees repeatedly over the last few years and we always hang up on their calls because we have had an issue with them sending us products we did not order and then invoicing us for them. All of my employees have been instructed not to speak to them. However, a few weeks ago, we received a shipment of sewer cleaner that we had never ordered. My current maintenance supervisor contacted them to discuss it and they claimed an employee, who hasn't worked here since August, ordered them. I also reached out via email to tell them we will not be paying the invoice or using the product and have received no response. Based on the other complaints I see on here, this is pretty much the way they operate.Desired Settlement: I would like the invoice to be voided. Industrial Chem is welcome to have the product picked up and returned to them as we will not be using it.

Review: We received a cold call from the company asking us to purchase their product. We said not interested. The caller asked if he could send us a FREE sample. We said OK. They proceeded to send us 2 gallons of product and a bill for $111.11. We called to inquire about the bill, stating we were told it was a free sample. They said the person that we talked to originally was unavailable. We said we wanted to return the product but they refused to send a prepaid label, even though we never ordered or agreed to purchase any product. They said we had to pay return shipping and a 20% restocking fee. We refuse to pay for a product we did not order. We have called several times and the company refuses to remedy the situation to our satisfaction.Desired Settlement: We would like a prepaid label to return the product as well as a credit to our account in the amount of $111.11. Review: Sales representative [redacted] called chief engineer of my property and offered him odor eliminating product. He assured that if we are not satisfied we can return product for no cost. [redacted] also told my engineer that our hotel has an account with their company and he does not need to consult to GM. We do not have an account with this company! What kind of sales tactics are those? Just lying to potential customers?

When product was delivered, we realized that this is not what we need. I called the accounting department of the company and spoke to [redacted] asking to issue [redacted] label for pickup of the product. She was very rude and unprofessional. She transferred me over to [redacted] and he was very rude as well. Review: This company called and stated that they wanted to send free samples to our company in Hawaii.. I told them that I was not in charge and that they had to speak to our [redacted]. Well we got the product and now we received a bill from them. I talked to a [redacted] who stated that he was the [redacted]. He thought I was the [redacted] because I told the sales man my name. He put it on the invoice. [redacted] was kinda surprised that I was not the [redacted]. I have been reading on complaints about this company and everyone sounds the same. I told them we do not want it. Review: We were contact in late January/early February by Industrial Chem Labs and offered a free sample of their new "improved" product. Our maintenance person, in my presence, told them to send us an email prior to shipping anything confirming it was a free sample. This request was made several times during the phone call. We did receive the "free sample" and then several days later a bill totaling just over $100. We contact [redacted] at the company who proceeded to verbal attack us, deny that we were offered a free sample and that we had received such an email. I told him to prove the email was sent by sending it via fax. The verbal assault continued not allowing us to even get a word in edge wise to the point that we told him to send over the email prior to him hanging up on us.Desired Settlement: Return merchandise at no charge other that shipping costs.

Review: In October of 2014, a representative of Industrial Chem Labs called our office and requested our '[redacted]'. He then offered a free sample of a weed killer, and described it as a total weed killer. The representative told us he was shipping us 2 gallons. We were shipped 4 gallons, and a few days later received in the mail an invoice for 2 of the gallons, and a ridiculous shipping charge. We already have a good weed killer that works excellent for us, and have absolutely no interest in purchasing excessive weed killer we do not need or want. We have called MULTIPLE times, and been put on hold, and then hung up on. Our messages are never responded to, and the promised callbacks never occur. This is absolutely ridiculous. The invoice reads "all sales are final", but guess what - We did not authorize a sale! This company attempted to pull a similar stunt on us about 4 years ago and took the "unpaid balance" to collections. It was an absolute nightmare. We will be happy to return all 4 of the gallons, none of them have been opened or used. They are still in the box.Desired Settlement: I would like a return label so I can ship this product back!

Clearly there is a history of this problem with your company, as a majority of complaints against you state that a complimentary sample was offered, and the answer is consistently "we never state 'free sample.' " Clearly you are playing a game of semantics. Despite any play on words, you have shipped us 4 gallons, with the agreement of 2. Again- how you can state you never offer "free samples", when I have 4 gallons here and an invoice for 2? Your argument is invalid.We have called multiple times, been put on hold waiting a supervisor, and then told he is not available, he will return the call. "He" never does. We will not pay for the shipping, and expect a return label delivered to us promptly. We are not interested in this product, did not request it, and did not authorize any purchase.

Review: I am a [redacted] at an apartment complex who received a phone call from "[redacted]" with Industrial Chem Labs trying to sell me odor control. I told him I was not interested in purchasing any products from him because I do not want to pay for something that I am unsure of will work. He informed me he will get with the local warehouse near my location and have them send me a free sample but I will love the product so much that I will want to order more. I agreed he could send me a free sample and I would try it. A few weeks later I reiceved a shipment from Industrial Chem Labs containing 2, 1 gallon containers of odor control. I opened one container and tried the product because if it worked, I would use the product. I had a particular apartment that had an odd smell I wanted to get rid of. It aboslutely did NOT work so I wanted to send it back. A few days later I received a bill for $104.76 charging me for both 1 gallon containers.

I called and spoke with "[redacted]" and told him I received 2, 1 gallon containers and a bill for it and that he said he would send me a free sample. He was very rude, called me a liar and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with his supervisor whose name was [redacted]. I told [redacted] the situation and that I wish to not be charged for something I did not authorize. I told him I agreed to a free sample in which he informed me they do not send free samples nor do they have a local warehouse they can pull a free sample from. I asked why I was told I would get a free sample from [redacted]. He said he cannot answer that. I told him I would like to send the odor control back and not be billed for it since I did not authorize what they sent. He said he had no control over that and I would need to speak with the [redacted].

I spoke with [redacted] late March 2015. I told him the situation and that I am not paying for a product that 1. I did not authorize. 2. Did not work at all. Had the product worked, I would have been interested in purchasing the product they sent but which I did not authorize in the first place. [redacted] said they would charge me for a 1 gallon container at 34.95 and he would take the 2nd gallon off the invoice if I sent it back at my cost and he would also take the shippig cost off the invoice that it cost to send it to me so I would need to pay to ship it back and pay $34.95 for the gallon I opened. Not satisfied with his proposal, I rejected that offer because I was told I would get a free sample. He said that's all he would do for me. After going around and around with him regarding this, I was getting nowhere and got off the phone with him. I received another bill a early April 2015 that the invoice was past due. I called [redacted] April *, 2015 to speak with him regarding the invoice again. He now told me he did not want me to ship the product back and that now I need to just keep both containers and pay $34.95 and the shipping of $24.86. I said absolutely not! I will not pay for the product I did not authorize/order and did not work when I was told I would get a free sample. I asked him if they recorded their phone calls because he needed to go back and listen to the call and he would know that I did not order this and that [redacted] said I would be getting a free sample. He said they do not record phone calls. I asked well how do you know who is telling the truth in situations when a customer calls and says they did not authorize this order? He said sorry, pay the invoice and do me a favor, don't call me again and hung up.

This company is the biggest scam. I want this invoice voided. I did not authorize this purchase when I was told I would be getting a free sample.Desired Settlement: Void the invoice because of non-authorized purchase of product.

Review: The sales rep had told me the product liquid odor control cherry would take the smell of smoke or anything out of our hotel rooms and it can't take the smell out of anything. I have called and was unable to reach anyone at this company. They told me we will get back to you but never have. So now after the fourth [redacted]e finally I reached someone and asked for a call tag and low and behold they tell me my time is up. when I have talked to a gal she said someone would contact me, wrong. Review: The [redacted] said he would send a sample of their best odor eliminator product to our hotel, we try it, and if we liked it then pay for it. Instead of sending a "sample", he sends two large bottles. We open one and give to our best maid who has been here over 20 years and knows how to use it. She followed instructions but it did not work as well as the one we are using now. So I repackaged both bottles back into the case it came in and left a message on 2/*/14. On 2/**/14 I call again and ask if they are sending for a pick up and the same [redacted] gets on the phone and said we probably didn't use it correctly. He denied saying he was sending a sample and when I said we didn't want it he said they are turning us into collections. This company is a scam. The odor eliminator product doesn't work even if directions are followed. Don't use them!!!Desired Settlement: We just want them to pick up this product that doesn't work and not bill us for it as promised in the first place.

Review: We were contacted by Industrial Chem Labs via phone. Initially, the sales rep was repeatedly informed we were not interested in any products. Sales rep persisted with an offer of a free trial sample of the product. Rep stated that if we were satisfied with the sample, we could then order the product (carpet shampoo). Offer of a free sample was accepted after we clarified there was no obligation to buy. "Free sample" (6 gallons) arrived with an enclosed invoice. [redacted], unaware of situation, paid initial invoice. Sales rep from Industrial Chem Labs again contacted us to see if we had received sample and if we had tried it. During this conversation, the sales rep informed us that the rest of our order had been "stuck on the dock" and would be sent out soon. He was informed that no order had been placed; only a sample offered and accepted. Approximately a month later, a second shipment (12 gallons)arrived with a new invoice. Seeing as how no order had ever been placed and no PO ever provided or signed for, we are requesting that the invoice in question be voided. We further request that this company (Industrial Chem Labs & Services, Inc.) be investigated for fraudulent business/sales practices.Desired Settlement: Would like invoice (#[redacted])for un-ordered product voided. We would further seek a refund of initial invoice (#[redacted]) as no order was placed and only a sample was to be sent.

1) Industrial Chem Labs, in their response, did not explicitly make it clear that the invoice (#[redacted]) will be voided.

2) Industrial Chem Labs stated they will not send a tag for invoice #[redacted] or void it, although it is also an unordered shipment.

3) Industrial Chem Labs statement that their sales rep. spoke to me on January * about the shipment is wholly inaccurate and completely impossible as I was out of the country visiting family in India on that date. Proof can be provided to verify this if necessary. This gross mis-truth would further support my assertion in the original complaint that Industrial Chem Labs be investigated for fraudulent business/sales practices. [Your Answer Here]

Review: Industrial Chem Labs sent us products that were never ordered. They did call and speak to an employee here and they discussed personal issues. They documented this information. When I called to tell them that I never ordered their chemicals they used the personal information they gained from their phone as evidence that the employee ordered their products. We never ordered any products from them.Desired Settlement: We want them to take their chemicals back. We have not opened them and we do not intend to use them. We also want them to obtain some evidence of order beyond a phone conversation or payment, as this seems to be a pattern of behavior for this company.

On July **, 2013 the administrator, [redacted] who is above [redacted] spoke with the rep and regarding the delivery and refused to put [redacted] on the phone. [redacted] explained that they have made a previous payment for the shipment prior. [redacted] stated he is paying anything and dares us to try to get the bill paid. As a point of proper customer services I have issued a UPS call tag for the 4 gallons of Concrete Cleaner in dispute. Please have [redacted] prepare the return in a card board box and UPS will arrive in 3-5 business days.

Review: This company calls stating they have a free product they would like to ship to us. Once the person on the phone gives an okay to try the "free sample", the company ships the item and bills the recipient/company for the product which was believed to be a "free sample" The product they ship is completely worthless (in our case drain cleaner that does not work). Then our company will receive an invoice with inflated prices to include shipping/handling. In this case, 50 lbs of drain cleaner @ $194.50 with $64.11 and a total invoice of $258.61.

When you call them about the billing of the "free sample" they state that they had authorization from the person they spoke to on the phone to ship the product. We do not dispute the fact our employee may have agreed to a "free sample" but our employees are not authorized to purchase anything over the phone without a purchase order. We did not use our "free sample" and contacted the company to pick it up. It was sent back sometime in May of last year and we were told that the issue was resolved. Now they are trying to bill for the same scam a full year later. I spoke with a representative a year ago and indicated that I would be turning the issue over to the Attorney General and the Revdex.com. Regardless of the outcome, we will not be paying for this product and I will forward this latest attempt to our attorney for resolution.Desired Settlement: The most desirable outcome would be complete restitution for the amount invoiced and a statement showing a zero balance for the latest scam this company used to try to obtain payment in the amount of $248.71. We are also requesting this company remove all of our information from their database and we have instructed our employees to refuse any further shipments from Industrial Chem Labs & Service.

Review: I was originally sent two gallons of weed killer to try out. Those 2 gallons have been taken care of. I later received 4 more gallons which I didn't order. A short time later I received an invoice for $279.80 plus shipping of $46.42 for a total of $326.22. My office manager spoke with the company and they said no returns. Their representative insisted that he had spoken with an employee who said he could ship the additional 4 gallons. I do not want to the product as I never intended to receive it. I do not want to pay for a product that was not requested.Desired Settlement: Primarily I do not want to be billed for the products I did not request. I want invoice #[redacted] to be zeroed out. I would be happy to return the 4 gallons that I currently have in storage if a shipping label is provided. I would also like my information to be removed from any company database and receive no further communication from Industrial Chem Labs after a copy of invoice #[redacted] showing a $0.00 balance in received.

Review: This company had sent me small order of product for trial and sent bill for it I paid them and they sent another order later and trying to bill me for it and I did not authorize it and will not send accept it back trying to bully me into paying for it its just not right there trying to scam me.Desired Settlement: Billing adjustment. Review: A salesman from the Industrial Chem Lab Company called me here at my place of work, and was trying to sell me drain cleaner. I told him no, I was not interested and not to call me anymore. I hung up and he called back within a matter of minutes. He said I needed this product and he would be sending it to me. I again said no I was not interested. He said that I will send it anyway. A few days later I received the chemical in the mail with a bill. I called the company and they refuse to take it back saying that I ordered it. Which I did not. I am trying to return the product and get the bill stopped.Desired Settlement: I want the company to take back the product, stop billing my company, an apology and the salesman to learn new business practices.
