Review: I was contacted by a sales rep from Industrial Chem Labs and was asked if we wanted to try some samples, when the samples came I also received an $398.01 invoice for the products which were not the products stated and were not free samples that I was told I would receive.Desired Settlement: I want Industrial Chem Labs to take back the products they delivered and apologize for their sneaky sales tactics.

Review: We own three nursing home facilities. Salesman with the initials **, called our facility and told the manager that he had free samples of a odor control product. Our manager knows she is not to order any supplies, it is all done from our central office. The salesman said I was just for free samples. Our manager [redacted] said to go ahead and send the samples. The salesman called back to confirm the address, which [redacted] gave did. We then rec'd 2 gallons of the odor control product at a price of 39.95 per gallon plus shipping. I called the company and the saleman stated he called and verified that the manager ordered the product. When I asked [redacted] what the second conversation was she said he just called and verified the address. She restated I never ordered anything, I know that I can't do that.

When I called and said we didn't order it and don't want it the salesman, **, rudely stated they would just turn it over to collections.Desired Settlement: Cancel the invoice to A Touch of Home, send verification of that cancellation.

[redacted] of ICL spoke with [redacted] and discussed the problems she has with odors and stains on the facility. [redacted] was advised of the price, quantity, and terms during this conversation. When the order was verified with her again prior to it being shipped the terms, price and quantity were discussed again. She was specifically told don't pay the UPS driver the bill was due Net 30 days and she agreed to the order. ICL pays the freight costs up front to ship all material. In the interest of being fair ICL will remove the freight leaving a balance of $79.90.

Review: We did not order their "sewer cleaner" product. When I called to attempt to return the product the man I spoke to on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. On the invoice under PO they had entered our executive assistants name who does not place orders for the property. I confirmed this with Eric and called Industrial Chem Labs to let them know that we did not order the product and would be returning it back to them. The man on the phone then stated that they would just send the product right back. I tried to reiterate that we did not order this product and that I talked to Eric directly to confirm this. No resolution was made and the man was so hostile I had to end the call. He then immediately called back to further harass me.

Please note: we have a very specific process in place that started in 2015 that all orders have to have a purchase order number. This company is a scam and needs to be stopped.Desired Settlement: I am returning the product under fedex tracking # [redacted] and expect them to keep the product and as we did NOT order it and cancel out their invoice # [redacted].

Review: I received called from this company offering a toilet drain chemical for my apartment complex. I told the sales person, Keith that we rarely have toilet drain issues and we would not have any use for his product. Keith offered to ship a small amount of the chemicals to try out for no cost including shipping cost to see how we like it. They shipped it to my apartment and week later I have received invoice to pay for the free product they shipped it to me. I called the number from the invoice and talked to Keith. He is stating that he never offered anything free to my apartment over the phone. But actually he did. I told him to have his product picked up from my apartment complex and we are not going to even try out his product. He immediately refuse to do it and said we wont be able to do anything and pay your bills. He was very rude. I said I will not pay anything for what I never ordered . I asked to speak to his manager. Jack W[redacted] answered the phone stating that they verified the order with the shipping department and that I placed the order. He said that I inquired about this product but I've never even heard of them. Jack said that the most that he could do is remove the shipping cost but I would still be responsible for paying for the product. This is clearly a scam. Review: A sales person called and talked with my 17 yr son and my son agreed to take delivery on a sample of 2 gallons of weed killer and try it in our campground. We received a package that contains 2 gallons but they also billed us $204.58. I called and talked with [redacted] and he kept saying my son was told the price. This is not correct. We only agreed to try a free sample. The box is unopened and I asked for them to send a UPS shipping label and they refused. They are threatening to turn the bill over to collection and stated they would not accept the returned package. The phone salesman had no right accepting the contract with my 17 yr old son in the first place, but it was sold to him as only a free sample and if we liked it then we would make an order.Desired Settlement: The company needs to s.end a return label for UPS and stop billing my company. And also stop threatening my business and learn they can not get away with deceptive practices and not to sell to minors with no buying authority.

Review: I was shipped and billed for products that I did not order. When I received a very large unexpected box in the mail I contacted the sender who happened to be Industrial Chem Labs. I explained that I did not order the product that was shipped to me and I inquired about how to go about shipping it back to them. The sales person I talked to attempted to be very friendly at first but when I explained that I did not order the product and that I wanted to return it he rudely stated: “there are no returns or exchanges and all sales are final.” The sales person kept trying to convince me that I ordered the product and claimed that I was responsible for paying for it. I had no agreement with this company to ship that product to me and I am surprised that they have not been shut down for conducting business in this manner. I contacted my lawyer and he advised me to ship the 50 pound box back to the company accompanied with a letter stating: “I did not authorize nor did I order this product. I am returning this product unopened and untouched; please do not send me anything else.” I did what my lawyer advised and returned the product with a letter.

After researching a little further I found on the Federal Trade Commission’s website ([redacted]) that “If you receive merchandise that you didn't order, you have a legal right to keep it as a free gift.” I just got off the phone with one of their representatives and he was asking how I liked the product. I told him that the product was returned with a letter stating that I did not order nor use the product and I included my lawyers information on the bottom as a person of contact. He then proceeded to get pushy so I told him that I am not going to deal with the issue anymore and if he wanted to further discuss the issue he can talk to my lawyer; as I proceeded to read of my lawyers contact information he hung up in my face. I feel like I did Industrial Chem Labs a favor by returning the product but yet they continue to call and bother me.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is for Industrial Chem Labs to stop contacting me and for any charges that they invoiced to me/my company be adjusted to zero.

Review: Industrial Chem Labs contacted our maintenance staff trying to sell us products we never inquired about nor ordered. We do not need to order carpet odor materials, because we have an outside vendor who cleans and/or replaces our carpets. In front of the property manager and leasing agent, the gentleman who was trying to get a credit card number for a product we did not want or need hung up on our maintenance man and ended the conversation by saying, "whatever man".

They sent us a product we never ordered and when we called to let them know we would not be paying the invoice OR accepting the product, they became verbally abusive and threatening. The package was never opened which we have pictures of, and we have returned the refused package via UPS.

This company is using a scam and all they are looking for is credit card numbers to commit fraud against businesses. Be careful if you are thinking of ordering from them.Desired Settlement: For their employees to quit sending out products we did not order, and to stop verbally threatening Palm Trails staff and management.

This company cold called our church and offered to send something free of charge, when I refused they sent it any way. Two months later they sent a past due invoice. When I contacted them they refused to accept a return and insisted we owe them.

I was told that a sample of their concrete cleaner would be sent to us at no charge, however we received a full shipment (2 gallons) and was charged over $100.00. When I spoke to a supervisor at Industrial Chem Lab, regarding the invoice, Joe stated that they don't do samples. I specifically stated that there was not going to be a purchase from them, and if they wanted to send a sample at no charge , that would be fine. These people are crooks, and I warn to not even engage with these people as they will try to trick you into a purchase.

I have been contacted several times a year from this business, with them INSISTING that they do business with my company(s). We have never ordered a single product from them, but a gruff man insists on speaking with my maintenance supervisor. When I ask him what my supervisors name is, he says he doesn't know but has been doing business with us for years. He is rude and will not take NO for an answer.

Review: Company sent a product to the facility that the facility did not order. They refused to take the product back after being asked by the maintenance supervisor and the administrator. Called about the problem again, the representative was rude and refused to discuss the issue. The company charged the facility $884.96 for a product it did not order.Desired Settlement: 1. Do not charge the facility for a product it did not order.

2. Take product back without any shipping or handling costs.

3. If the company refuses to take the produce back or pay the shipping and handling costs, it will allow the facility to dispose of the product without charging the facility.

Review: On 12/**/15 I was contacted by a sales representative who stated his name was Chris W[redacted]. He started a sales pitch on the type of products that they offered. He stated that "facilities such as yours typically the biggest issue is carpets having stains" and proc[redacted]ed to discuss a product. I told him that we are only authorized to use certain chemicals and that they have to be approved by our corporate office and that we require MSDS sheets before making that determination. He stated that he is authorized to sell to my business. I further explained that there are no products from Industrial Chem or any related entity on our approved cleaning supply list and that all of our approved chemical products are once that are available at our local [redacted] He continued his sales pitch. I told him that the most that I could do was to take his name and his number and send that information to our maintenance department. He gave me his number and then continued the sales pitch. He stated that he could send out a product and that the cost would be waived until January for us to try it out. I again told him that we cannnot use these chemicals in these houses. He asked if he could confirm an address to send out MSDS sheets for our reference. After confirming the address he again started to say that he could send a sample of a product out in a 2 gallon size. I again reiterated that I would have to give his information to the maintenance department and that before we can have any chemicals or make any decisions regarding the chemicals they n[redacted] to be approved. He stated ok and that he looked forw[redacted] to hearing from me. In total this conversation lasted 4 minutes. On Friday 12/** a direct report called me to tell me that a package had arrived from this business. I immediately called to request a label to return. They turned me over to the "rep" that I had spoken with earlier in the week. This time the rep who sounded the same identified himself as "Chris M[redacted]". We spoke at length about the issue. I stated that I requested had told the rep that I spoke with that we cannot use chemicals in the house unless they are previously approved and that these products are not on the list. The rep stated that he is approved to do business with my company. He then asked me for a number to call back at, presumably to get off of the phone and ignore this issue. I again asked for an address and the rep again asked me for a return number. I again asked for an address to return and he again stated that he would like to call me back and to give him my number. I stated that we cannot use these chemicals, and that they are not an authorized vendor. He stated that he would talk to my corporate's office to find out what the issue was and then call back. I asked him if he had contact information for my corporate office so that I could verify. He did not provide the information and then asked to speak to my supervisor. I again reiterated that we just wished to return the product. I also stated that I had looked up the business and had seen multiple instances of orders being placed without approval and stated that all I wanted to resolve this problem was an address to return the product too and to not be billed. He stated that he would think about waiving the 20% restocking fee. He also stated that I was wasting his time. There was no invoice attached in the box. He stated that the bill was $79.99.

This order was placed without actually being approved. I was expecting to receive information only regarding MSDS sheets to refer to our liaison in charge of approving cleaning chemicals. I stated several times that we cannot use chemicals until they are approved and that just sending chemicals with MSDS sheets was not sufficient. In totality the rep was told multiple times that we could not order the product and sent it anyways.Desired Settlement: We would like a shipping label to return the product without a 20% restocking fee. and for an invoice with a zero balance to be generated.

Review: Industrial Chem Labs called my company and spoke to one of my employees regarding their products. The salesman assumed a sale despite being told no and mailed 50 pounds of product. To date I have received three or four bills, three of which were past due. We have tried to contact the company to clear up any misunderstandings, however, we didn't get anywhere. I have explained that I am the [redacted] of my company, my employee didn't order the product, he wouldn't have had permission to order the product, we haven't used the product, and we don't want the product. The salesman put me on hold several times to speak to supervisors when he finally told me that he would call me back. Several weeks have passed since that call and no one from the Industrial Chem Labs has contacted me. I did, however, receive yet another bill today in the amount of $301.36.Desired Settlement: If Industrial Chem Labs wants their product back, I want them to send a return address label for [redacted] so we can ship the box back. I don't want any further bills or contact from the business or any representatives from the business.

If Industrial Chem Labs does not want their product back, I want to have confirmation of that in writing so that we can have something done with the product. Again, I don't want any further bills or contact from the business or any representatives from the business.

Review: A rep from Industrial Chem Labs (ICL) contacted our company requiring to "sell" (I use that term loosely) their product. We declined. The sales rep insisted. We declined. The sales rep persisted. We declined. The sales rep demanded and stated they will send a free sample. Our employee was extremely busy, needed to get off the phone and to work, and finally agreed to the "free sample." A 50 lb box arrived by UPS a week later. Our employee moved the box into the shop and left unopened. We receive 20 or so boxes a week. I found the unopened box and inquired about its contents. I was informed by our employee that this was a free sample. I reviewed the UPS label and after completing research online about ICL, we find that this company shoves their product down your throat and has numerous fraudulent business practices. I contacted ICL to return the unopened box asked for a return shipment UPS label. This isn't their first rodeo, they were properly prepared for my call. The sales rep inferred that our employee did in fact order the product and did so by choosing the quantity. He also inferred that he knew our employee because he has our employee’s last name. Let me tell you something, this is a business and last names can easily be obtained, so the fact that he knew our employee’s last name didn’t flatter me what’s so ever. He further stated "pay your bill." I haven't received a bill as of yet. If an invoice arrives, it will be marked "return to sender." They deny stating they coax you to order by saying "free sample" but rather "a sample." It’s a play on words. In the long run, the sales rep got me worked up, and I was very angry when he kept repeating "you ordered it, we don't accept returns, pay your bill." I asked him not to hang up on me and he did. ICL does business like the [redacted]. "Yeah, u-gonna take this stuff and keep takin' it until I say otherwise." That's what it sounded like being on the other end of the phone call with the sales rep. We will not be bullied into purchasing products from any company. They picked the wrong company to man-handle! Period.Desired Settlement: Mail us a UPS return label for the unopened product "sample."

We incur no product charges, no shipping charges, no future product charges, no hypothetical, dreamed up charges, etc.

UPS picked up product on 6/**/2014. I want to go on record and refute their statement of "price, quantity and terms were discussed." We have the recorded conversation, which states our employee stating to the salesman not to send the product if it is over $50, the salesman assured our employee it would cost more than $50 including shipping. The salesman stated to our employee he is sending a sample product. We received a 50 gallon box, which we did not open after reading numerous reviews and complaints. I am very pleased with Revdex.com in assisting us in a timely and professional manner.

Review: Company sent a box of cleaning product which was never ordered. Called company today and they stated that they were sending us the rest of a shipment that we never even ordered. They stated that their computers were down 1 minute, but then they stated that a [redacted] ordered the produt. [redacted] has not worked for this company for over 3 months. We have not ordered any product from them since 2012. They tried to pull this scam of just sending products last year as well, and their excuse is always that we received damage product and they are replacing it. They will then send a bill 2 months later for the product that was never authorized.

I asked them to return the product and they refused.

We did not ask to have this product sent, nor do we deal with companies with these types of practices.Desired Settlement: We do not want the company to send us any product, nor have any contact with the hotel whatsoever.

Review: This company has called my business offering an odor control product. They always get the name of the staff member. I buy all products for my business personally, and my staff are trained to never order anything over the phone, and to send all packedges back if they are sent to my business without out my prior authorization. I went through this last year and now again this year. They sent an invoice with past Due stamped on it for the same product, which we never ordered!I called and let them know that this order was never placed, and if they sent us anything it would have been returned ! Their "[redacted]" called my business with a number for me to call. I did return his, ([redacted]) call. He was extremely rude and threatening to me, and insisted I had to pay the bill. I told Him that wound not be happening, and he was welcome to take me to court, as I would love a chance to meet this Scam artist company in court! Review: We keep sending items that we never ordered, they keep sending us stuff stating its a backorder being processed, list goes on and we are never removed from call list, I don't think they ever honor the request, just keep shipping.!Desired Settlement: With so many complaints on record for this business, I have a hard time seeing how and why this company is still allowed to be in business, its a big scam and no one is doing anything about it, while businesses like mine are getting hosed.

Outcome desired is for this company to be closed and owners put in jail or fined at minimum.

Industrial Chem Labs & Services Inc (ICL) has updated the account not to contact or sell the location on file again. This customer has been purchasing our products over the last year. Prior to any product leaving our facility ICL has spoken with Cal confirming the order and delivery. ICL cannot be held responsible for unauthorized employees placing orders.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved, if they hold up on their side.

Disagree with [redacted] explanation and her final statement. No employee of mine ever places or even accepts orders without prior instructions from myself, unfortunately their are too many other companies like hers and we have had a policy in place for past 5 years to deal with companies like hers. Her statement that her company is not responsible for purchase by unauthorized employees is false.

Thanks for response and hope they hold up to removing us from their list.
