Hi, We've taken a look at your daughter's Instagram account and it appears that it was disabled following several reports claiming that your daughter posted content that violated the copyrights of another party. When we receive a proper claim of intellectual property rights infringement, we promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. As a result of these multiple reports, your daughter's account was disabled. You may wish to resolve these IP issues with the reporting parties directly.  Information about each IP report filed against this account was provided to your daughter at the time of the report via e-mail and/or within Instagram. Yes, the issue has been handled. I assume in the future when someone reports an account, it'll be properly investigated to avoid similar problems from arising and the website and windows phone app will be fixed so non Android users can dispute any issues that may arise.

The bottom line is,
1). I sign into my account [redacted]
2). The homepage then says: "We noticed some unusual activity on your account. We'll send you a security code to verify your account."
3). I click "Verify by email" - no other verification options are available and I am prompted to "enter the 6-digit security code we just sent you to verify your account".
5). No verification email is sent through.
 
My email is [redacted] and that is the address associated with the account.
I would really like to get this resolved as soon as possible please.
