information would be provided if it was availableIntelius’ policy is to use all applicable means to deliver the information services ordered by its customers. The information provided is gathered from selected public records and other publicly available informationThe data is compiled into a comprehensive database record that Intelius maintains with active updates from its sources. Due to the nature of public records, however, Intelius cannot warrant the information provided is always current, complete, or accurate. Ms***, the link in your complaint is not a live or active link in the sense that it is something that can be immediately removed or manipulatedNor is it hosted or reside on the Intelius website or its serviceIt is content that Google has cachedCached links and pages are literally a snapshot of each page and the corresponding url that Google examines and caches (stores) as a bawithin its search resultsThese stored pages exist only in Google’s search results Every days Google re-indexes it’s search results, which means that a Googlebot will crawl the web and add or update new links and pages in its search resultsFor more information on how Google operates its cached pages, please see http://www.googleguide.com/cached_pages.html Intelius (nor anyone else, including Intelius’ partners) can not remove stored (cached) pages on GoogleThe only way we can remove the link is to make a request to Google, which we did on 2/16/(screen shot attached)The ability to remove, the speed in which content is removed or even when results pages will be re-indexed are all outside of Intelius’ control, it is completely dependent on how Google operates its search engine Since Intelius is unable to provide any additional assistance in connection with this issue, we now consider this matter closed and will not address any additional correspondence regarding this complaint (additional correspondence through the [email protected] email address is attached for the Revdex.com’s review) Sincerely, Tara M*** SrIP & Marketing Compliance Manager Legal Department As I previously mentioned, this is an unacceptable response to meI feel that since this is your website, you have to try harder to protect people's personal informationI see no evidence that you have reached out to the "former partner website" to remove my information or that you have spoken with your IT deptThis is an active URL hosted by your company and your telling me there is nothing you can doMakes no senseUnsatisfactory, unacceptable, and very concerning to meMy personal safety is at risk Sent from my iPhone > Ms***, as I previously, explained, because the link is cached within Google's search results, there is nothing further we can do outside of submitting the request to remove the link to Google, which we did on 2/16/This is a technical aspect of how the internet operates and, in particular, how Google caches and indexes their search results. Managing personal information through the US Search opt-out service is just one step in eliminating its availabilityThere are many other sites that may provide similar information found on our sitePublic records sites, search engines, social networking sites and other online companies provide
different levels of information about individualsWe have removed the requested information from the US Search database, as well as affiliated sites.We recommend Ms*** review our privacy policy located on the US Search website at https://www.ussearch.com/about/privacyGenerally, we do require an individual’s identity to be verified prior to processing an opt-out. To do this, we request that proof of identity be submitted along with the removal request. Proof of identity can be a state issued ID card or driver's license. When uploading, faxing, or mailing a copy of a driver's license, we require that the photo and the driver's license number be crossed out. However, we do need to see the name, address, and date of birth to ensure that all information is removed from our database. If an individual does not feel comfortable faxing us their driver’s license or other state issued identification; they can send a notarized statement of their identity.Additionally, it is important to remember that the Opt Out procedure is temporary. US Search is constantly updating their database with new public records. It is possible that an individual may need to resubmit an Opt Out request for any new records that may have been added to our database since their last Opt Out request. Intelius customers are presented with a two tier pricing structure when purchasing reports on the Intelius website. They have the option of paying the full price, or a discounted promotional price which includes a 7-Day Pass of the Intelius Premier Plus Membership. When a customer selects the promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing. By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Plus was activated. When the Background Report search credit which is provided with the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass is consumed, the membership will immediately charge the monthly cost for the membership. Before the search credit is consumed, the customer will receive a prompt informing them of the chargeAs requested, the Intelius Premier Plus Membership was canceled on 2/10/and the pending charge of $was canceled on 2/12/2016. This will reflect on Mr*** statement in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date. Mr*** will only be charged $for the People Search Report. No future membership charges will occur.We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter and apologize for any inconvenience

How can the Revdex.com give this company an accreditation with all the complaints against it? Although Intelius states that my information has been removed, I continue to get e-mails from them. Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:According to the Intelius response, they have two-tiered pricing, but I believe it is confusing and misleadingI also believe this is purposefulThis company charges customers repeatedly, when they are aware that the customer is not receiving a product any longerPersonally, I believed that I had cancelled right away, and because of my busy life as a working wife and mother of three, did not notice that this company was charging me repeatedly for almost three yearsBut they knew, and this is their tactic for making moneyThey also knew that I haven't used their service since the original search in Intelius preys on the fact that they will make money on busy, hard-working peopleThey should not be able to unknowingly charge customers for an unlimited amount of time without any customer account activityEven a doctor's office drops patients after they haven't been seen for months.
The long and short of it, this company is running a scamThey feel okay about it because of they way they have worded it in their website, but it is a fleecing of hard-working, upstanding citizensHow do they sleep at night?Sincerely,*** ***

without me initiating another search on their site I cannot verify but do not believe I had any notice of $brewing billed to my account I distinctly recall only accepting payment for cents please ask why the $was not billed on the same date that is because it would require me to accept or reject, which they did not want to give me the option Again, check their website all purchases are tied to their premier plus billing this is very deceptive I ask again for Revdex.com staff to check out a search on their site to verify what I am statingFurthermore how is it so that they keep stating they cancelled my membership on 6/when that is the date I blocked my credit card and then received notice they would cancel my subscription on 7/10!
Please wase please check their website and tell me you don't rhino the lack of clarity on their charges is misleading
