International Towing & Recovery Corp. Reviews (286)

Dear Mr. [redacted],Thank you for taking the time to inform me of your concerns.  I have thoroughly reviewed your account and your complaint.  SCBN is not a PAP or pharmaceutical company.  We are a third party advocacy, with a monthly membership.  We do help people to enroll in these...

difficult companies and follow the guidelines set forth by them.  We do not make the rules and procedures they use, however, we have spent many years making sure we understand them, so that our members are not denied enrollment in their programs. After review of your account, I do see that we informed both you and your spouse, that we were in need of the signed doctor portion of the application, along with the proper proof of income.  We never did receive it, even after relaying the information via telephone, letter and email to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to submit incomplete applications to the pharmaceutical companies without causing a denial. On July 11, 2016, your wife called in and requested that we cancel your account, which was immediately done.  No draft in July was taken from your account and no further drafts will be taken from your account.  As for a refund, we did provide the services to you, but without the complete cooperation of both you and your physician, we were unable to send your completed application to the pharmaceutical company.  If you still need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our offices at your convenience.  Our number is [redacted], Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm, Central Time.Kind regards,Member ServicesSCBN

Dear [redacted],I am in receipt of your complaint and I have reviewed your account.  When you enrolled with our monthly membership program, on 09/05/2017, you agreed to a verbal contract for automatic withdrawals from your account, for your membership dues.  That call was recorded and the...

information sent to you in your New Member Kit on 09/06/2017.You are correct in stating there was phone calls and correspondence between us.  On nine separate occasions, we contacted or attempted to contact you via telephone, and followed up each time with a letter sent via USPS and an email. You did not return the documents required for the pharmaceutical company.  However, we still performed the services of your membership with Prescription Lifeline.  At this time, there is no refund due.If you have further questions, please contact our office at your convenience.Kind regards,Member Services

Dear Mr. [redacted], I have received your complaint and I have reviewed your account.  Please see the attached documents.  The Membership Agreement states you agree to a 12 month contract.  You will also note the signed agreement stating you received, reviewed and agree to the...

terms. However, I will cancel your account, effective immediately, but, there will be no refund at this time.If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.Sincerely,Member Services

Dear Ms. [redacted],We have received a copy of your comments that were filed with the Revdex.com and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.Select Care Benefits Network prides itself on our commitment to provide our members with the highest level of satisfaction...

possible.  We sincerely regret any unpleasant experience that may have occurred to detract from our level of service. After review of your account, I see that you were granted a refund upon your original request and that has cleared both our financial institution and yours.  As far as any documents with your personal information, we have not received anything from you, therefore, I have nothing to return.  Please be assured that any personal information you provided via telephone will not be used in any manner.Sincerely,Member ServicesSCBN

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]
I would like to know the name of the provider that the medicine was sent & the dates it was sent.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the truth is not being told. Yes I sent (1) one voided check.  As you are aware the "contract" expired 12/31/2015. You had no authorization to  online to take funds. You do not address the "shipment" of Clodpergil in "February 2016.  That is not even remotely possible.  I did not take renewal form to her Dr. Which I received mid-November.  Just as I did with the rest. Where'should your proof????????MY  NEXT STEP WILL BE TO REPORT ELDER ABUSE TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY' OFFICE IN DALLAS
[redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted],Please accept my continued apologies for the inconvenience you have experienced.  I have once again reviewed the account, and I did verify all the shipping dates and addresses for the medications.  I have contacted the pharmaceutical company for the Clopidogrel you referenced and was assured it was shipped and delivered to the address on file.As for the authorization for monthly membership drafts, I have attached a copy of the authorization signed by you.  I am sorry that you feel services were not preformed, however, that simply is not the case.  Your mother was able to receive her medications, because we submitted all paperwork to each pharmaceutical company, along with the payments for the generic medications. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.  At this time, no refund is due.Kind regards,Member ServicesSCBN

Dear [redacted],I have been in touch with the patient assistance program.  I have information about the medication and the shipment.  Please call me at ###-###-####.  If I do not answer, please leave a message and I will contact you. Thank you[redacted]Manager/SCBN

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:While I appreciate your attempts to resolve this matter, I don't feel that you are fully comprehending the nature of my complaint. No monies should have been taken from my checking account the moment SCBN discovered that they did not receive my renewal paperwork and thereby was made fully aware that I was not receiving a medication benefit through your program. I cannot ignore the fact that over 80 complaints have been filed against your company through the Revdex.com, but I am willing to make a small concession. Given that it may have taken SCBN staff a month to realize that my renewal paperwork was never received or submitted, I am willing to accept a refund for five of the six months that SCBN did not provide service to me, which would total $175 (as opposed to a full refund of $210). Given that thus far you have refunded me $70, I am requesting that an additional $105 be credited to my checking account and I will then consider the matter closed.I do not wish to go back and forth on this, so if we cannot reach an agreement my next step will be to contact the [redacted] State Attorney General and file a formal complaint against SCBN for deceptive practices.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dear Mr. & Mrs. [redacted],I have received a copy of your complaint and I want to first apologize for any misunderstanding and inconvenience that you have experienced.  At SCBN, we pride ourselves in stellar customer service for each of our members.  I am truly sorry that was not your...

experience.I have reviewed both the accounts (for each of you) and I do see that your preferred method of communication was via e-mail, due to your remote location and inability to make calls with your telephone, as stated in an email dated 10/31/2016.  I also see that you had been in contact with our office after September.  At that time, you were still attempting to receive the proper paperwork from your insurance company.  Please keep in mind, the regulations for this paperwork are made by each of the individual patient assistance programs and not by SCBN.  In order to assure that you will be enrolled with them, we must abide by their rules and guidelines.  At no time did you send an email or contact us by telephone to cancel your account.  However, as of this email, I have done so.  No further drafts will occur.Although we have a no refund policy, as your dues are for services rendered, I would like to offer a $35 refund (one months dues) for each of the two accounts, as a gesture of good faith.  The total will be $70 to your primary account.  Please allow time for your financial institution to accept and process these refunds. If you have further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office at your convenience.  Our telephone number is ###-###-####, Monday through Friday, Central Time.Sincerely,Member ServicesSCBN

I am rejecting this response because:I told them I am a blind person as to reading, and agreed to pay them $50 to fix the papers to send to me. In my opinion that is enough. In any event I tossed the large envelope with the papers I could not read in my frustration. They can keep the $50 for their compilation of all those papers. They had advised that they were sending me two sheets to sign with my doctor. This is not war I got. I reject their offe. Many thanks.

lists.  We contact only people who reach out to us first. On the attached agreement, you will see you checked you understood, "I realize Prescription Lifeline is not a pharmacy and does not have, sell or ship medications in any manner".As for the terms and conditions, regarding our cancellation policy, I have attached the e-sign documents you submitted to us, stating that you had read and agreed to the terms of the Patient Advocate Membership Agreement, along with the ACH debit from your checking account.  You will also see on that document, it states that you are agreeing to a 12 month service. The terms were binding once you e-signed the document (as stated on the document itself).  That was done on 01/09/2018 at 2:10 pm.I have canceled your account and no further drafts will be incurred by you, however, no refund is due at this time.If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.Sincerely,Member ServicesPrescription Lifeline

Dear Mr. [redacted],I have received a copy of your complaint and I thank you for bringing them to our attention.  I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.  I have thoroughly reviewed your account and the recorded phone calls between you and our representatives.  I do see that...

you enrolled in our monthly membership program in April of 2015.  At that time, we went over the terms and conditions of the membership, including the information regarding a monthly draft.I have also determined that your New Member Kit was sent to you the day after you enrolled and we spoke with you on April 15, 2015, regarding the New Member Kit and the importance of promptly returning everything to our office in a timely manner.Several phone calls, emails and letters were sent you via USPS.  We did not receive any response from any of these letters.  However, per the conditions of the Patient Advocate Membership Agreement, in order to cancel your account, you must contact our office via email, letter or telephone call.  To date, we have not received any correspondence from you.  I have taken the liberty of canceling your account at this time, and I will issue a refund for the May and April payment for 2016, as a courtesy to you.  Please allow for your financial institution to process this transaction.Kind regards, Member Services

Dear [redacted],Thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention.  I apologize for the unpleasant experience you have had with SCBN.  I have reviewed your account, and I have contacted the pharmaceutical company again.  As we discussed with you, you are enrolled with the...

pharmaceutical company, however, in order to ship your medication, a controlled substance, they are requesting a copy of your Social Security card and valid Drivers License. If you would like to contact our office, we can explain to you how to get that information to them.  Better yet, we would be more than happy to provide the copies to them, if you will send them to us, either via fax, email or USPS.Please call our office at [redacted], so we may resolve this issue to your satisfaction and at no additional cost.Sincerely,Member ServicesSCBN

Dear [redacted],It was a pleasure speaking with you today.  I am very happy that we are able to conclude this matter.  I have refunded your membership payments of $120.00.  Again, as I stated today, if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest...

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  I sent the company the requested paperwork and now they are trying to say that I didn't.  I do know that if they do NOT immediately refund the 85.00 they took out of my mother's bank account, I will seek even stronger action.   It is theft at this point.   There was paperwork authorizing this company to take funds directly out of my mother's account but, the paperwork was NEVER signed, nor did she receive the medication that she was after.  There was NO authorization to take funds out.  They took it without regard to my mothers grief and now it seems this company is really showing their true colors.   They are no different than those in NIGERIA!  What a scam!!! They don't care about my mother's situation nor do they care about the hardship not having these funds in her account has done.  This situation is out of control. My mother is so stressed unnecessarily due to this whole nonsense.  All I'm trying to do is get a refund but instead, we've been getting the run around.    My mother is elderly and I believe this company preys upon the elderly and steals money out of bank accounts.  Taking the funds without authorization and not even receiving anything for those funds, is THEFT at this point.  My mother just lost her husband of almost 60 years and was not in the right frame of mind to be discussing medications or plans to have delivery of medication.  My mother was so stressed from losing her husband, she was trying to get a medication that she no longer takes by order of her physician.  Ive worked in the medical field and I do know that there are legitimate programs for medication assistance when a patient can't afford to take a drug. It's called patient assistance and the patient works DIRECTLY with the manufacturer of the medication.   What this company does shouldn't even be legal.  There is no need for third party medication assistance!!   I am so angry with this company because I complied with the paperwork they supposedly needed to get a refund and now they are saying I didn't.  I have witnesses as to what I mailed to this company (BTW, I made copies of their packet in case I needed legal assistance).  This company lied leading me to believe I'd get a refund for my mother.  I even have letters from them stating that as soon as they get the application for Combivent, they would refund the 85.00.   How dare they!!!  Shame on you. Since they are now making harder to get the refund owed to my mother by keeping it, I will now go to our local news channels and they will assist me in getting my mother''s money back.  I may even look into filing criminal charge since they stole the funds out of my mothers account.   Brace yourself cause -  I won't quit in seeking what belongs to my elderly mother!!Regards,[redacted]
