Paying to much to switch your domain registration to a sketchy company: $40/CDN/year
Reading the iDNS responses to client reviews, pricelessI normally say nothing negative about another company that does what I do I'll make an exception for iDNS I've been getting unsolicited letters from thesewell, let's just call them ss (there are so many English words to describe these people but that'll work for now.) for at least a decadeThey're less deceptively worded than they used to be, but they're hoping that people don't read it too careful and overpay to switch to themAsk yourself this: Do you REALLY want to do business with the sort of company that uses these sorts of practices AND verbally berates clients as they do in their replies on the Revdex.com website? If you're a misogynist with too much money, go for it Otherwise, stay clear

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I do not even want to click on a starI only have been working for my employer for years, so I thought iDNS were their domain people, until todayI found out that GoDaddy is where we first registered back in iDNS wanted $for yearsI of course renewed with GoDaddy for years for $

To the folks at IDNSSince you clearly read and respond here, let me say that you know exactly what you're doingKeep lying to yourselves about what a scummy operation you're running if you like, but we're on to youYour rating is 100% negative and yet you continue to protest your innocenceYou have no conscienceYou are either incapable of understanding this basic truth or you are flat-out lyingOur Finance team at the office was uncertain as to whether to pay this or not since it was clearly designed to look like a valid billYou are scoundrelsDon't bother lying to us about what you areChange your ways

This company sent a legitimate-looking letter to my home reminding me that my website domain name was about to expire, (which it was) and that I could renew my domain name through themI paid them for a two year registration of my domain name, but when I called them to ask for help in transfer, the automated system said the "person" at that number couldn't be reached and the voicemail was full I was then disconnectedI called my old web host, iPage, and they explained that this company was a fraud and that I actually needed to pay iPage to reregister my domain name

I received an official looking document stating that I had to renew my domain name This was the first year anniversary since I've had it and I thought I was paying the same company that I purchased the domain frombecause how would anyone else know my expiration was coming up? Big learning lesson for me because apparently that's public knowledge and companies like iDNS take advantage of people who don't know that I have tried to call but am unable to get through I have emailed as well but have not received a responseI want my $refunded but am unsure how to proceed at this point Can the Revdex.com help in anyway?

After receiving what I thought was a bill (but learned that it wasn't, they only wanted me to renew my website with their company), I called them and began a conversation with a VERY RUDE man who would not allow me to tell him why I called, he kept arguing with me that this was not a bill (never said what it was) and proceeded to tell me to read it again and there is no where that says you must payI told him he was rude and I'd like to speak to someone else and he said "how am I being rude" and wouldn't allow me to speak with anyone elseHe eventually hung up on meNow I know why they have an F rating! Do not fall for their scam of paying this fee for your domain that doesn't even belong to them!

iDNS sent me a requent for payment on a web hosting domain name they threaten I might lose if I didin't pay them a feeThis is a scamMy web provider *** keeps me up to date on my domain name

This company sends out "Phishing" type mail in an attempt to lure customers away from their domain name providersThe letters sent try to trick people to renewing their websites, when really it would be transferring rights and business to this company, and at a much higher rate
This is pure scam stuff, and totally wrong
The letters come without ever signing or agreeing to anything

I would like a refund for the domain name renewal fee I paid to keep my website running without interruptionI paid the $
fee via the iDNS “Domain Transfer and Renewal” service on June 6, for the two-year registration renewal planHowever, on September 28, 2018, I was unable to access my website because service had been interruptedI contacted the webmaster who created the site, and she informed me that I should have submitted payment for my domain name registration extension directly to the website’s host, WeeblyI contacted Weebly, and the customer service representative verified that my web hosting and domain services are “always” billed directly through WeeblyFrom my website’s dashboard, the webmaster was able to pay the $fee for a two-year extension plan with my credit cardSince paying the $to Weebly, my website services have been restoredI have been advised by the webmaster and the Weebly customer service representative to request a refund from iDNS since

I found out that this company is a scam because I just received another billing notice even though I paid them years of website service last year in This is how I found out, something didn't seem right when they bill me again this year Then I realize it is a scam I emailed them for a refund but have no response

Due to a min billing and less than transparent business practiceswe mistakenly purchased a DUPLICATED domain name registrationThe purpose for this reporting is due to the rude manner in which customer service respondedin point telling we are stupid and were hung up on

This is a Scam company that keeps sending bills and there is only one guy that handles everything, his name is Kevin and is the main scammer that works in his basement, or who knows where! He cannot get a real job like real people so he starts scamming peopleI do not understand if he is still in the business if he has 40+ negative reviews in Revdex.comI am surprised that the government still has not caught this guy and put him behind bars! This guys needs to be put in jail immediately so he cannot scam people! PEOPLE BE AWARE! READ! BEFORE PUTTING YOUR MONEY, READ AND DO NOT BE SCAMMED!

We paid $for a domain name renewal, they cashed our check weeks prior to our expiration and didn't renew our domain name

Paid for a domain transfer, apparently, money never went to the right placeWhen I called this company to ask for my money back, I was called ignorant, told I had no idea what I was doingThen he hung up on me twice! I want my $back, and this company needs to close!

A long running scam, these sad excuses for human beings send out requests to "renew" a domain registration to people who's domains are about to expireI've been getting them for years and have had a few clients taken in.The request is NOT from your domain registrar and the rates they charge are well above industry standardsOn a good note, their wording isn't as completely deceitful as it used to beBut it's enough to fool unwary folks who know nothing about domain registration

I was sent a notice in the mail claiming that my internet domain name, which I maintain using a completely different company, was going to expire and that I had to send IDNS (Internet Domain Name Services) money in the mail or on their website idns.ac in order to renew my domainThey requested $for year, $for years, and $for years

This client contacted our company and was very rude and disrespectful, we have never dealt with such an ignorant individual in all our years in operationWe are happy to help rectify any error in payment by offering a full refund, the procedure by which is to confirm the name of the individual
requesting the refund and to confirm the last digits of the credit card in order to verify the authenticity of the requestThis client refused such a simple request and decided to hang up believing the process would be different with another agentAs it happens the refund process is the same no matter who they are dealing with and after finally confirming the required information her credit card was immediately refundedThis complaint is entirely fraudulent and without meritA refund was requested and issued, case closedIt was simply the customer who made the process more difficult on herself than it needed to be

This is a scam, pure and simpleThey scrape domain name winfo looking for new or changed contactsThen they send out letters by mail that look like renewal noticesWhile the letters state "this is not a bill", they use marketing scare tactics like this to confuse and scare people into paying up"Failure to renew your domain by the expiration date may result in a loss of your online identity making it difficult for your customers and friends to locate you on the web."
In their comments to negative reviews here on Revdex.com, they keep reiterating the same thingOur offers clearly state: "When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings"
Well it appears their "best savings" price is almost 3x higher than a typical domain registrarThey prey on people who are not tech-savvy and don't understand how domain name registration worksAnd, unfortunately, people fall for it, because this company is still in business after years of complaints

these people are a**holesthey send out this letter that is confusing and you go to their website and it doesn't say you are transferring your domain until after you pay, and then when you email them you get called names and put down and treated like you are in itwhen you call them its the same thing, they do not care about customer service at all and they are all a bunch of jerks

Our accounting personnel received a solicitation from iDNS and unfortunately thought it was a bill and payed for a "renewal" for our company's domain name The solicitation notice did specify that this notice was "not a bill," but it was paid for in error Once we realized the error we called iDNS to explain the situation and request a refund The man on the phone said our explanation was "long winded" and went on to be very rude, verbally aggressive, and uncooperative with us When we asked for his name he refused provide us with it He then started repeating over and over that he was not going to provide us with his name and if we wanted a refund we needed to give him the name on the card we used and the last digits of the card Base on his verbally abusive manner, we did not feel comfortable providing him with any informationWe tried to obtain his name again but he hung up on us We attempted to contact iDNS a few minutes later in hopes of reaching a different person, but the same man answered the phone with the same horrible and rude demeanor When we asked him for his name he hung up on us again because he said that he was not going to give us his name If this is a legitimate company, it has very bad customer service Instead of dealing with such a rude and aggressive person for a refund we opted to contact our credit card company and have them dispute it on our behalf It is very sad that a person would behave that way, especially when he was treated properly and with respect the entire time
