Internet Domain Name Services (IDNS) Reviews (210)

Unfortunately Ms*** seems terribly confused about what she received from usOur solicitation is in no way a "scam" of any sortIt is an offer from our company, clearly stating that consumers have the option of renewing their domains with any registrar they'd like and asking if they are
interested in transferring over to our company for their domain renewalThe letter is quite self explanatory as it reads:"When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services.""Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services."
We therefore feel this complaint was filed erroneously and contains blatantly information

IDNS is a scammer trying to steal my identityThey sent me a bogus bill for the registration of the domain name for my websiteThe bill looked legitimate, and the cost and expiration date of the current registration were accurateUnfortunately after I authorized the payment, my husband discovered they are scammers and I did not pay for my domain name through IDNS
When I went to the IDNS website to pay the invoice, the boxes were already pre-loaded with my address, and the last four digits of my previous debit card number ( I had to get a new card this summer), leading me to believe that I had used them previously in when I had originally purchased the domain nameSince my personal information was already in the boxes, I believed I had indeed used IDNS beforeI don't know how they got my personal information, especially the last four digits of my debit card, since I have NEVER used them before
I have sent an email to the company requesting the payment be stopped, bu

I received a notice to pay for my Domain name only through either the Internet or Online This notice is in bold letters that my business Domain is about to expire Very misleading I called to inquire and was yelled at by the man who answered that it was not a bill and that I did not read the notice nor does he want my business He was extremely irate and unprofessional since I called him on his misleading notice to just get my business I did call my regular host site and they warned me of these scams and how they can be misleading, do not pay them I don't know how this company even got my information and the due dates I have with my renewals This sort of practice is misleading and I feel being taken advantage of as a business owner and consumer
Good luck trying to speak with them, they won't allow you to talk or ask questions

IDNS (https://idnsinc.com/) sent documentation containing our personal information and which appeared to be a bill We paid the $bill for years of internet domain name services A year later, we received another bill from the same company I was confused why we would receive another bill since we had paid for years of service When I called to inquire about this billing issue, I discovered that the "bills" we had received were fraudulent I wanted to simply ask for a refund, but was unable to discuss that option with the customer service representative because he became verbally abusive

*** *** *** *** just wants to file a complaint that this Company is not legit They said they do not have W-9s and when I said I could not purchase their service without it, I was then told "well, then don't purchase it" I believe they are a fraudulent Company
They sent us a notice that our Domain name was expiring and we need to renew it I decided to ask for a W-as required legally But they refused to provide one
Please put us on your "Do not contact" list

I am a registered domain name holder who has held my domain in good standing for years and Internet Domain Name Services is fraudulently trying to say my registration is in the rears when I have live active domain monitoring to know otherwiseThis company is illegal and fraudulent and its owners/operators should be arrested and put in jail

We received what we presumed to be a bill from this company talking about our domain and renewing it
I was given this bill to pay as we thought it was to keep our high school website up and running
But it turned out to be a company looking for moneyI was told later that these kind of companies contact people and businesses all the time
I called the company and tried to explain what happened and was yelled at by a very rude man who would not let me speak and told I wasn't getting any money back and to call back when I could have an adult conversation then the guy hung up on me
All this company did was reregister the name but the actual website is who need to register it to keep it goingSo now the website is not useable any longer unless we reinstate the site and it will cost more money to do so

Utterly preposterous mass mailing trying to trick people into switching their valid domains from their preferred registrar to this hokum outfit for going on twice the rate with absolutely reason why you would want toIt is simply non nonsensical

iDNS sent us a form stating that our Internet Domain was going to expire and that we needed to send them a check to keep it upIt turns out that iDNS did nothing for us with the $check that was supposed to re register our domain for years

This Company is the worst They send out letters making it look like you need to renew your domain name with them and give little other information and what it does say is confusing at best Then, when you call to ask about the notice, they are arrogant and disrespectful on the phone I was told that the letter "was pretty self-explanatory" and that I should re read it aloud over the phone so I wasn't confused What a total BS move by a deplorable "customer service" repEven if they aren't scamming people, which they probably are, they are not worth dealing with simply for the way they treat peopleDO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!

My business received an official looking letter in the mail from a company named Internet Domain ServicesIt was a "Domain Name Expiration Notice" stating that my my business domain name was expiring January 18, and we needed to pay a fee to renewThey contact you months before your domain name is scheduled to expire with a notice that looks like a billing invoice requiring payment and by paying them you agree to transfer your domain name to their hosting serviceRead very carefullyPeople who are not tech savy or aware will pay out of fear of losing their siteThe way they solicit for their business is unethical in my opinion

What we have sent is a solicitation clearly asking domain owners if they are interested in renewing their domain services with our company by transferring over to us for the renewal. The letter clearly states the following:
"When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can
take advantage of our best savings""You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services.""Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services."This clustomer made a mistake and we are happy to iseu him a refund, refunds take to weeks to be processed, he called us less than weeks after he requested his refund and we told him that his refund is scheduled to be processed within the time frame statedNo one hung up on him, therefore we find his accusations spurious and fradulent

This business sends unsolicited mail asking for my credit card infoI have asked the business to stop mailing me, with no luck

IDNS sent a notice of my domain name expiring and said I needed to renew it immediately Although it did mention "switching" to their company, it was misleadingly written as though we already had a domain name registrered with them Soon after, I received the bill for my domain name from the company who was already representing us It was then that I realized the switch and bait
When I called I admitted that I misread the letter and would like a refund of my unused portion of the domain name protection It was then that the "owner" as he identified himself, started to yell and berate me I continuously asked to speak to someone else, and he would not let me He told me I owed him an apology and that he would "put me on hold" so I could think about it I have never been so mistreated on the phoneI hung up

Repeated mails letters to domain owners letting them know of upcoming expirationOffers very high prices to renew, even though they aren't the registrar used in the first place! They try to trick the domain owner into renewing and transferring the domain to themI get these letters regularly as I control many domainsI have returned them back a couple of times saying get lost and how pathetic their business practices are, but they still send themI find this unacceptableDomain owners could be paying much more than they should and have their domain transferred! I'm sure a lot of people read this, fill it out, and get taken to the cleaners I don't think they should be allowed to trick people into doing business with them

Wow all I can say is wowI received a letter in the mail from iDNS, and it appeared at first glance that it was saying my domain was registered with themI wanted to transfer the domainSo I called themThe guy started yelling at me right after I got on the phoneCompletely belittling meSaying how I can't readThat the letter was an advertisementHe continued to yell at me until I hung upHis name was KevinI have never been treated so poorly after seconds of talking with someonePlease take your business somewhere else

This company charged me $for registering my domain name for two years They cannot register my domain name because they do not own it This is pure fraud They said they were registering ***

Called this company the same guy answers is EXTREMELY rude and ignorant will not answer questions, is sarcastic NOT helpful whatsoever could not believe the phone call I was having with him I have NEVER been so angry talking with anyone ever!

This company is a scam run by absolute con artistsStay away!

I thought this company was my domain service and sent them a renewal check for $ on 7/2/for a year renewal of my website My own domain service then contacted me and assured me that it was a mistake I called idns and was told I would receive a full refund shortly, confirmation #*** I also have an email from ids customer service saying it would sent our weeks ago 10/14/ I have receive nothing and my phone calls no longer connect, nor any email response
