This company looks up all of the domains I registered for my website business through the public whoisThey proceed to send these fake domain renewal letters to all of my customers making them think they need to pay iDNSI have had customers of mine pay these people and receive nothing, as I am in control of their domains The attorney general needs to put a stop to these peopleThey cause me headaches and scam my customers

At IDNS we offer a full refund policy, this customer called with a belligerent and abusive attitude when first contacting our company, she would not comply with the simple refund procedure of providing her name and confirming the check numberShe became argumentative for no reason and
ultimately disconnected the call herselfUpon calling back she changed her tone completely when speaking to the new representative and so of course we will happily issue a refund for the payment she made in error.

This company scammed me! The letter they sent told me I needed to renew, and I fell for it in Lost $to their scam I got another letter from them recently, and it reminded me that I had already paid them Upon investigating more, I found that I already pay for the domain name through my website company
***DO NOT BUY FROM IDNS, IT IS A SCAM!!!!***
I wish I could get my money back from before Anyone else have this problem and get money back?

iDNS Mailed us a renewal bill for domain names that we have with ***I have confirmed thisI have researched this company and it is a scamThey send out renewal notices for domains they do not have hoping that people with little knowledge of how domains work, will pay up

IDNS mailed us a letter that falsely told us that our internet domain name was going to expire 5-28-The first choice that they give us to renew is for one year to bring the domain name into good graces until 5-28-which is $We decided to confirm how long our domain name was good for and it is already paid up through 5-28-This company knew that and purposefully misled us in order to secure new business and money flowIf they hadn't put "Your registration for: mjdalsinsiouxfalls.com will expire on May 28, Act today!" then I wouldn't be so ticked off as I am todayNothing ever gets done about these practices!!! It doesn't matter that it wasn't a big sum of money, they are fleecing companies from all over and doing it using illegal tacticsThey obviously mailed this over state lines...wouldn't that be considered mail fraud??

I have received unsolicited email and paper postal mail from this company based on my registering a domainThey pick through addresses and then bombard people with this mail that LOOKS LIKE A BILLI know it isn't but I hate junk mail and I worry that others will fall for it and give them moneyPlease stop themIt's shady and it's simply wasteful and deceitful

iDNS regularly sends misleading "invoices" to renew internet domain names already registered at another domain name registrarThis kind of mailed invoice, with its carefully chosen yet misleading and intimidating language, is intended to deceive unwary domain name owners into paying an exorbitant fee to iDNS to perform a completely unnecessary and possibly harmful change of internet domain name registrationThis predatory practice harms American small businesses and domain registration ownersThey know exactly what they are doingTheir victims often have no idea what the invoice is, but are scared into paying it promptly

This business send me a bogus invoice to pay them and I never dealt with them they are scamers and a serious action should be taken against them

I received a letter in the mail from this company giving me a list of prices for amounts of time but I wanted to keep my website up and running forThe letter had in big letters, please respond by April 30, I looked up the company phone number and called, then proceeded to wait about a minute for the next customer service representativeThe man who picked up the phone was named Kevin, I told him that I no longer wanted to continue my services and he told me that I did not purchase my domain name through himHe then told me that I should take a minute to read the letter I was sent I told him that in big black letters my response was requested by the end of this month, and he proceeded to tell me to be an adult and read the letter Word for WordFrom then on anytime I begin to speak, he spoke over me with a very rude and sarcastic tone, eventually I Burst out saying “why the f* are you being so rude I’m trying to ask you a question”- then he hung up on meI called again and waited for a customer service representative and hope that somebody different will pick up the phone and I could ask to speak with a manager- but instead the same man pick up the phone and the first words out of his mouth were are you ready to apologize to me for being disgusting and using terrible language to me? I said excuse me? No I’m not about apologize to you you’re rude, and he hung up a second timeI then called from my house phone number and waited for a representative for about four minutes before the line went dead I called fourth time, the same man picked up the phone and I asked to speak with a manager, and he said yes I’m the manager, my name is KevinI really introduced myself and said that he hung up on me twice and he said are you ready to apologize me so we can continue our phone call? So I rolled my eyes and I said sure I apologize now let’s talk about this letter I will read it to youAnd he said OK read me the letter Word for WordAbout two sentences into the letter he spoke over me asking, do you know advertising is? I said yesHe said you never purchased your domain name through us, so you’re making things upWe send these letters out so people will convert to our domain service instead of what they originally purchasedHe continued to make sarcastic remarks until finally I hung up on himHe then called my house phone non stop for minutes and I ended up taking my phone off the hookThis is a SCAMHe is the ONLY “employee” who legitimately makes people think they need to renew their subscriptions and asks for money over the phoneDO NOT USE IDNS! Let’s take them DOWNThis should be ILLEGAL

What this customer received was an offer from our company clearly stating it was an adverstisement to transfer and renew their domain name with our company by switching over from their current registrarThe letter read exactly as quoted below:
"When you switch today to Internet Domain
Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services.""Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services."Aside from the offer being explicitly clear in it's intent we understand that sometimes people make mistakes and we do have a full refund policy in case of such a situationFor a refund of a credit card payment all we require is that the individual requesting the refund confirm the last digits of the card that was usedThis is for security and confirmation purposes, and is in no way unreasonable to ask for the person contacting us to confirm the card that the payment was made onEven if it is a company card, simply contact the individual within the company that submitted the payment to get the last digitsUnfortunately this customer decided that being belligerent on the phone and using rather foul language would be more helpful than simply confirming the card numberThey are more than welcome to contact us at any time for a full refund upon stating the last digits of the card used
Thank you

Maybe the spammiest mail scam I ever seenIf you have domain name without privacy protection, they will kindly send you a letter saying it's time to renew with their servicesThe problem is they will charge you 10x the money for your domain and keep your credit card infoI'm aware of this scam, file complaints and they're still thereI'm reviewing this because someone could not be aware of this practice and thinks it's a good idea to send them money and that's dangerousIf I could do a negative star review, I'll kindly do

IDNS sent a invoice stating that my website would be expiring soon and I am required to renew this soon or else my service will be terminatedI made payment through the website then it stated I needed to provide more information that was not stated at all in the invoice as required information to complete this transactionI called the customer service number and the male was not assisting me with this issue at all and was stating that is was my fault I did not research the issue before submitting paymentI advised him that due to the fact the required information was not in the invoicing for the notice of procedure to continue I am demanding a full refundHe stated I could submit an email and they would look it over to see if I will get a refund or not

Can I please use zero stars? This "company" is just out to scam hard working people who own domain names out of their money They send a "Domain Name Expiration Notice" in the - get this - ACTUAL mail, telling people they can switch to iDNS and secure their domain for 1-years and "take advantage of (their) best savings." Considering that I pay about a third of what their "best savings" are, I think people should know that this IS a scam, and not to respond to this in any sort of way, other than publicly stating that it is a scam, or reporting them to organizations such as the Revdex.com

I talked with a 'Kevin' at IDNS today, with a simple question regarding a cent charge to my bank account He was extremely curt, rude, and abrupt And informed me it was for a Dominion I didn't understand what he said and I repeated it, and he said 'don't you know what a 'domain name' is? I told him he didn't have to be so rude about it I apologized to him and he hung up on me! I called him back and he said we had a bad connection! I asked for his supervisor, and he said he is the supervisor Bad for the company If I can make a change to my situation and domain name, I definitely will! IDNS is not the way to go! You are fore warned!

We received a renewal invoice with different options, last option $for a five year renewal; after a little research, we found this to be a scam; we already knew this was not the domain renewal service provider we use Next, we checked Revdex.com to see if they had any information on this company which they did, a rating of F - They are in the business of Tricking people into paying money for something they can't provide because they don't own (this was at least our situation)

Was verbally abused by Kevin, the supposed supervisor of the company three times in a rowHe was rude and insulting, only leading our company to believe that this is a fraudulant company scamming people upon the expiration of their domain We will also be filing a compliant with the Federal Trade Commision

We received a letter in the mail regarding our domain servicesNot sure what the letter was for but the gentleman that answered the phone was demeaning, insulting and very disrespectfulAfter he hung up in my face, I called back to ask for a supervisorThey must have caller ID and forgot that he is still a "business"Upon him answering the phone, there was no greeting whatsoeverAll he asked as he answered the phone is if I ready the letterI'm going to every outlet possible to leave this review to ensure he drives himself out of business

This so-called domain name company is a scamThey target someone with a domain name registered with some other company, mailing what looks like a bill for the domain namesThey charge something like 3x what I'm currently paying, and they keep sending these mailersI never registered a domain name with themThey're obviously trying to scam people who aren't paying attention
It's not like it's an ad for moving one's registration to themThey represent this as a simple bill for $a year per domain nameThat's an outrageous price, and I'm sure they scam people who aren't savvyI would bet their entire business model rests on this stupid scam

I was scammed by Internet Domain Name Services I thought I was renewing my website My host company (*** ***) said they did not receive any payment I do not want to change companies I do want my $back
The advertising was devious

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN CALLING THIS COMPANY!!
Today I called iDNS, and was verbally assaulted by the gentleman on the phoneI explained that I received a letter about a domain name expiration, and I didn't understandImmediately he said, read it to me and I'll explain what it meansI hesitated, as I was skimming the letter to find the part I didn't understandHe raised his voice and said, "well, read it to me so I can explain it to you, you can read can't you?" I started to read the letter and misread a few wordsHe immediately began harassing me saying, "what are you dyslexic or have a reading impairment?" I tried to read it again and he interrupted me, yelling this time "what is your problem three times you mispronounced words, what is your deal, is this some kind of joke?" A third time I read it to this man, only this time, while reading the words "due to expire in a few months", I read it to him as, a few days"He started yelling at me again "DAYS? DAYS? Where exactly do you see the word days in that letter?" I had had enough and asked him "do you want me to do business with your company?"
He was still yelling at me, so he must not have heard meSo, I ask again, he responds, still yelling, "NO!! WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE WHO CAN NOT READ? IT WOULDN'T BE WORTH THE MAYBE $I'D MAKE OFF YOU" Now being quite offended I raised my voice and said "yes, I do have dyslexia and can not read very well, and this is how you treat someone with a disability?" Then told him it was rude for him to askHe continues to belittle me about not being able to readI asked to talk to his supervisor, he said he was the supervisor, but that he wanted to talk to my supervisor and let them know I couldn't read and it could be detrimental to the business I work forHe then tells me to pass along the letter to someone who could read a full sentence and have them call and he'll explain it to them" I asked for his name and he hung up on me!
This company is just looking to steal customers from other companies that care for their customers, and treat disabled people with respect PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN CALLING THIS COMPANY!! Since this man was more interested in belittling me, and not explaining anything to me, so I do not know if they are even a legit company! I see here, there are only negative reviews for this companynot one positive this has been said about themLooks like they respond to reviews, but won't sign their nameMust be just this one man that can not get his company to growHe most certainly won't get any new customers treating people like this!
