Management spoke to *** *** regarding his annual paid in full membershipHe requested that his membership be renewable at the $per year rateWe explained to him that his membership expired 5/5/which he was aware of when he signed our agreement on 2/12/We do not allow paid in

Management contacted Mr*** regarding his concerns with adjustments that were requested for his Premier Membership to include access to the *** *** location and the experience with local staff when attempting to upgrade his membershipsBased on that conversation, we understand that the
request to include the *** *** location in his membership access was prior to that location opening as a Signature clubWe regret that Mr*** came away from interactions with local staff feeling like our staff had not assisted in helping resolve his concernsAs a courtesy, we waived the upgrade fees on both Mr*** and his son’s memberships and honored Signature club access with only a monthly dues adjustment to $for each accountAdditionally, we reviewed Mr***’ concerns related to the *** location and advised of steps taken to address the facility concernsWe believe this matter to be resolvedThank you

Member has been in contact with LA Fitness regarding his concerns and we agreed to cancel the remaining term of his personal training agreement at a reduced cancellation fee of $(normally it would have been $for half of the remaining agreement balance)
In addition, we will extend the expiration date of the remaining sessions for months

Member paid 50% of the remaining personal training agreement balance on 1/22/and we cancelled the remaining term of his personal training agreement with no further billing accordingly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I have one voicemail from LA Fitness, not multiple though as stated, and I have been out of the country and have been unable to return that call I did see that they have cancelled my membership and I appreciate that I was also told that the written letter is the only way to cancel when I called the front desk, which is contradictory to what the response from LA Fitness statesI will now consider this closed, and I will reach out when I am back in the states as I don't have an international cell phone plan

agreement terms, was 6/30/We did not receive a cancellation request for this membership during the rescission period Consistent with this, the history on Mr*** membership reflects that the first contact regarding cancellation was on 7/5/Thus, he was never entitled to a full refund. Our records show that the actual cancellation was processed on 7/6/2016, when Mr*** completed an in person cancellation with the club’s Operations ManagerMr*** was provided a receipt that confirmed the cancellation effective date and his membership access expiration of 8/22/No further action will be takenThank you
