For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I called *** at LA Fitness on *** *** on 9/8/at 5:PM and left a message asking her to call me on my cell numberThis is the voice mail I got from *** on 9/15/at 11:BUT on my home phone number:
"Hi *** this is *** with la fitnessIf you were having a tough time connecting you can reach me all day at ***If for some reason I'm not able to get to the phone right away please leave me a voicemail and I'll call you back as soon as I canThank you."
Since I did not expect he to call me on my home number, I got the message only today after I have checked my answering machine at homeI called back and left a messageI will call again tomorrow to see if I can get in touch with ***Not sure what she would had to say, but I would hope that the she would offer me one of the two options I explained in the original complaint, i.eyears of membership free of charge or my money back
For whatever it is worth, LA Fitness does not have my signature on the contract since I did not sign it but my nephew *** didNot sure what that means, if anything, but I wanted to let you know.]

I would like it to be known that if this company had any customer service or problem solving capabilities, I would still be a member. Additionally, on my contract (that they made me TURN IN to cancel but I made a copy as proof if needed) I have a clause written and signed by my salesperson that I would have a penalty free out after months if, as I feared from the start, they were unable to meet my scheduling needs. Their inability to come up with a very simple solution or accept the solutions I offered is the reason I cancelled WITH NO PENALTY, per their own contract. Seeing as they state that they will not continue to harass me for the money I do NOT owe them, I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

City Sports Clubs cancelled the remaining term of member's personal training agreement with no further billing or obligation

Although the current inspections may have been sufficient for the business to allow them to continue to serve the public, the time periods of my concern were not within those outlined by the business in their correspondence with youI spoke with a manager on 8/about the conditions of the business, those that I outlined in my correspondence with the Revdex.comThat manager admitted fully to the truth of my observations and are not in disputeHad there been a demonstrable disproof of my statements the issue would not have been elevated and I would never have spoken to anyone in upper managementThe truth of the matter is that the manager I spoke with admitted to the poor conditions prior to whatever changes were made by the business in anticipation of their inspection. They acknowledged what the person you've corresponded with did notThey acknowledged that there are homeless people showering in their facilityThey acknowledged the smell that was present during our conversationThey acknowledged the equipment is often brokenThey acknowledged the equipment is dirty, as well as the club in general. Being that this is the case, it's abundantly clear that I was subjected to dangerous conditions at the Culver City locationHad any of these things been disputable at the time that I had the conversation I believe it would've been very easy for them to be disputedThe manager, instead, asked for my forgiveness and understandingShe promised that I would be contacted by upper managementThe problem I have with this is that I paid them to endanger me and they refuse to act in accordance with the commonly accepted principle that no one should be forced to pay for such treatmentI would never be forced to pay for moldy food from a restaurant, but payment to such moldy, uncleanly unsafe conditions at a gym can be forced upon the public?I don't believe that's good businessI believe a bureau with the aim to ensure better business practices should easily come to the conclusion that what I've experienced is bad business and support my move to be refunded. As well, I have records that can demonstrate they were not truthful in their claim to you that I didn't return their callThey should be held accountable for lying to the Revdex.com and refund me the money I paid them for membership.

Management has made several attempts to contact *** *** to discuss his concerns regarding the cancellation of his monthly billed membershipHowever, we have not received a return callLA Fitness provides members with the option to cancel their membership at any location between the hours of
8AM-5PM Monday through Friday, but we strongly encourage that members mail in a written cancellation request via certified mail to ensure return-receipt
This cancellation policy is not designed to make it difficult for our members to cancel, but rather to ensure cancellations are handled properlyWe have no record of receipt of such a cancellation for *** ***’s membershipNevertheless, as a courtesy, we have processed a cancellation for his membershipWe encourage *** *** to return our call so we can adequately assist him with any additional resolution requestsThank you
