LA Fitness cancelled member's personal training agreement and processed a refund in the amount of $on 8/22/(refund applied to the same account used for payment)

Management has made several attempts to contact *** *** to discuss his concerns regarding his experience with local staff and the cancellation procedure for his monthly membership However, we have not received a return callWe regret that he felt local staff was unable to assist with
providing the key tag number on his account, which he felt resulted in the continued billing of his monthly membershipLA Fitness provides members with the option to cancel at any LA Fitness location between the hours of AM-PM on Monday through Friday, but we strongly encourage members to send a written cancellation request via certified mail to ensure return-receipt
Our cancellation policy is not designed to make it difficult for our members to cancel, but to ensure cancellations are handled properlyWe have no record of receipt of such a cancellation for *** ***'s membershipAs a result, no cancellation was processed and the billing continued monthly based on the membership termsNevertheless, as a courtesy, we have cancelled *** ***’s membership to prevent future billingWe encourage *** *** to return our call should he need additional assistanceThank you

Management spoke to *** *** regarding the billing of his monthly membershipHe expressed that due to medical he needed to freeze his member and received the runaround in doing soAs a courtesy we have retro actively froze his membership and issued a refund in the amount of $back to the

In addition, we upgraded her personal training program to give her access to our

Member has been in contact with our Personal Training Director and we will honor and additional sessions (for a total of sessions per month) for the remainder of the Initial Term to resolve her dispute

LA Fitness will allow member to use her remaining sessions more than after the end of her agreement

Management contacted *** *** on 6/18/in regards to the cancellation of his gym membership*** *** states he cancelled verbally in January and is seeking a month refund for monthly dues Our records indicate we have not received a cancellation request for the membership and

I don't agree with what La fitness is saying. They were misleading me intentionally when tricking me to sign the contract. I clearly remembered the guy told me it would be $per half-year The contract was signed on Jan27, and I paid the $in total right away when signing which includes the one-time enroll fee. The contracting signing person did the input in the computer and never really showed the price clearly to meHe NEVER told me I only have days of time for cancelation!!!!! This is totally cheating!!!!!!!! I am a house-wife, not checking my emails frequentlyHow can I prevent people from intentionally cheating me?When I saw they Again charge to my credit card for $on Feb27, I called them immediately to explain the situation and then initiated face-to-face communication with them multiple times to cancel the service planIt was clearly these people were bullying me for my non-proficient spoken EnglishAnd since then, I did not use any of their services at allBut they keep charging meThis is totally scam!!!! The person said to me that my only choice to get out of this scam is to pay half of the whole year charge, which is $1,How can I pay this much money for nothingI only used their service for one month and already paid $This is astonishingly unfair! These guys should be banned for cheating!In summary, I insist that they should let me cancel the service that I never used since I found out! I would also like other people to be aware of this cheating behavior of LA Fitness
