We at iYogi DO NOT call back our customer, let alone the non customersWe don't share our customer details with anyone eitherIf anyone has called this person misrepresenting themselves as iYogi we request this person to send us the details( like name, phone no ) etc of the caller
so that we can get it investigatedThis is a serious threat to our business if anyone is calling people and falsely representing themselves as iYogi

We couldn't locate any account albeit free for this customerWe would like to set the record staraight here that iYogi is an independent service provider and not affiliated with Dell or any third party barandWe clearly state this fact to all of our customersSecondly we access the
customer's computer after receiving his or her permission on it and then only we can work on itAlthough the customer hasn't paid for any subscription , however if she thinks that her computer settings have got changed due to our tech working on it, she can send us her contact detailsWe can have one of our techs reach out to her and get it fixedThats the maximum we can do even though she isn't a registered customer

I cannot even type a full sentence without my curser now jumping all over the page as if someone else is controlling it. My laptop is a mess, and I am certain the "technicians" at iYogi have been continuing to meddle in my laptop. I have done extensive research to see if others are having the same issues or if they were cheated as I was. I found this website, which was one out of many - ***. Many of the stories sound familiar to my plight. My laptop is worse than it was when they began to "fix" it. I want compensation to replace it at this time, because I swear iYogi can still get in and control it. The response from the company should lend itself their reputation. When a representative from such a "large" company as iYogi cannot even articulate a correct response in English, you know there is something wrong.
It has now taken me over minutes to just type this simple paragraph, because I cannot stop my curser from jumping. This is unacceptable. The *** of this company such should be given jail time for all of the money and time people waste dealing with this fraud

Dear *** ***,Thank you for notifying us of this complaint againWe would like to reiterate what we touched on in one of our previous responses that the customer had asked for the cancellation of his services when there were only months left on his two year contractWe always try to provide the best possible service to our customers and in case they don't like it we respect their decision of whether they want to continue with us or notWe have done the same here and refunded more than half of the money paid to us even though of the total months of the contract had already been used up. The charge was voidedWhat we mean is that when the customer paid and asked for a refund, it was done within a day periodIt takes three days for the money to get credited into our account so the fact that the refund was initiated before the day period, the actual transaction never took placeSo what we suggest to the customer is to check the " final" statement of her credit card for the complete month, it will definitely show the money being there and if it doesn't we would request her to send us the complete months statement on *** so that we can get it checked from our end

I am not accepting the resolution to this complaint. I allowed iYogi to remote into my laptop on Friday late afternoon, and after spending over an hour with the tech, I believed my laptop was fixed and free of a virus. It was working perfectly when I left the office on Friday night.
When I booted up my laptop on Saturday morning, it was not only infected, but it was worse than it was the day before. I have serious issues now with my laptop that are not resolved. If they fixed it, then why is there still a virus?
On Monday or Tuesday of this week, I noticed that a "pop up" told me that there was remote sharing session still active. If they were no longer supposed to be providing service, then why was there a session active on my laptop after I asked for a refund?
I certainly do maintain that the technician(s) at iYogi did something to my laptop after I told them I did not want to purchase an external hard drive from them for times the amount I would purchase it from a store.
I even took my computer to the *** store in town on Tuesday, and they will bring it in for service, but first wanted me to back it up. I purchased backup for my files from them for $25.00, not $170.00, as iYogi was trying to have me do
The company tries to push accessories and other programs on you for an inflated price. Then, when you refuse to purchase these expensive "add ons" from them, they infect your computer more
I know I am not the only one they have done this to, and when I read online that others had similar experience (after trusting iYogi to go into my laptop,) I was sick to my stomach.
I need my laptop running with out issues, and they corrupted it even more

The following message is the email sent to *** *** at The Revdex.com on Dec*, 2014.IYogi persists to indicate that they have no record of my email address Whether they have my email address on account or not is none of my concern If Iyogi cannot find my information in their system, then this is both unfortunate and rather embarrassing indeed For Iyogi to state that I cannot be found in their system is irresponsible of a computer solution based technical computer company The information technology for which they profess to be, a source of expediency in resolving computer problems, cannot find my information in their system, however yogi fails to see the logic that the fact remains as it is here evidenced from the email I forwarded on Dec*,I have furthermore indicated how my information was given to Iyogi while a live chat took place Iyogi has the capability to make this very simple statement of fact but they continue to deny that they have been in contact with me The message below very clearly indicates Iyogi was indeed involved with me and my computer.I have already given you permission to share my response of Dec.*, with Iyogi directly As you have requested that this information be included in this complaint process format I have obliged.meTo*** Dec *See the attached photograph od the Mactuneup software. [Your Answer Here] The reply from iYogi is the same I've been receiving from them each time I callIn part, it is truePerhaps there was an error somewhere and the charge was inadvertent, from the bank's end or from iYogiIn either case, the resolution would be, as they stated in their response, quite simpleI've mentioned to them on numerous occasions the only thing needed to be done on their end is to send a letter to my bank that says they have no intention of collecting the money charged on the ** of July, a $charge from iYogi that is still pending todayIt is also mentioned in iYogi's reply that they willingly credit the customer's account in the event of an errorThis is one of these errors they were referring to yet I'm still without my money and have been for almost a month now.
