 On 08/**/14, As I WAS INSTRUCTED TO DO BY IYOGI on 08/**/14, I cancelled the legal proceedings with [redacted].  The reference number that I received from [redacted] is [redacted].  I gave this number to a representative from IYOGI on 08/**/14 as well.  I've called IYOGI on numerous occasions and they are WELL AWARE that the legal proceedings have been cancelled.  [redacted] also assisted me in 2 phone calls. Both times we were told that IYOGI'S "management team" is investigating.  We were promised a resolution within 24 hr on both phones calls. [redacted] also reached out to their Merchant Services on 2 separate occasions to confirm that all proper notification has been submitted.  
 I am not sure exactly what else IYOGI needs to refund the money..... All they've have told me is that it takes time.

Thank you for keeping us notified about the customer’s complaint. This is in regards to the Revdex.com complaint #[redacted] was charged $199.99 as the renewal of subscription on [redacted] August 2014. We always send an e-mail informing the customer about the renewal...

of the subscription before the charge is deducted. The email also has an opt out option for cancelling the renewal activity which is scheduled for a future date.
As after the charge was deducted, [redacted] has disputed the charge on [redacted] August 2014, which is still under review by the bank or concerned authority. It generally takes 75 days for a dispute to be settled and until then we don’t have the amount with us, nor the option to process any refunds.
We request [redacted] to wait for the dispute to be settled, post which we would be able to take appropriate action as per the company’s policies.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.I am satisfied with the response but for future suggestion please have iYogi employees aware that they cannot represent another company if they are truly not associated with them.  Too many scams going on that anything could have happened and I probably would have fell for the extreme charges to fix my computer if I wasn't so skeptical.

I had been promised payment 3 times previously and payment was never received. They (iyogi) have not made an effort to contact me.  I have since tried talking with them twice on the [redacted] of Feb 2016 and was hung up on once and disconnected the second time.  I will not consider this settled until I have payment in my possession!  [redacted]

I am requesting a refund of $200.00 which was a subscription charge also generated on 8/**/2014 - these are two seperate charges - The subscription did not fulfill my needs and was not satisfactory. We are willing to add the consumer’s account (once traced) to the Do-Not-Call list with iYogi.   We are sorry to hear about the incident reported by the consumer as this is not the type of service we strive to deliver. I was working for a client. His name is [redacted]. I was using my laptop to fix his Linksys Wi-Fi extender. The problem is their programs are on my laptop and are acting like malware. My laptop is running VERY slow and I am afraid iyogi is accessing my usage. When I called their tech support they said they could not do anything without a case number. I was never given a case number. Why are they not willing to check my computer for THEIR software. How can it be legal for them to install what they want without my permission? How can I ever be sure their programs are not in my laptop? How is this a good business practice for any company?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I have not yet received my refund. IYogi indicated that they will refund my money and requested my name and address in order to mail my refund to me.  That information is: [redacted].I am expecting a refund in the amount of $313.99.  That includes $187.99 for my order of Microsoft Office 2013 that was never received.  It also includes $126.00 for the time remaining on my service contract.  I paid $179.99 for a 5 year contract and still had 3 1/2 years remaining.  (In my original submission, I thought it was a 4 year contract.  I found my original paperwork and learned that it was 5 years.) As soon as I receive the check and it has cleared my bank, the issue will be resolved.  Thanks.
