We are sorry for the inconvenience however we have the confirmation that the refund was processed by Total Defense on [redacted] Oct 2014. We would request [redacted] to check for the amount of $169.99 credited to her card after [redacted] Oct 2014. We have also sent this for further investigation.

they claim to have sent a refund almost two weeks ago, their response says one thing and when I call they say another thing. this is what im dealing with.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: There has been no attempt from Iyogi to contact me in regards to this complaint.  I dialed the phone number given on the website, it was clearly stated that the call would be recorded, they should have my phone number as well, and as of this day 12-*-14, there has been no attempt from  iyogi to contact me.  I do have an answering machine at my residence. Again  iyogi has made no attempt to contact me.

Dear [redacted],   We would like to bring this to your attention that the one year annual technical service plan is bundled with a Tech Genie software. Dear [redacted],Thanks for the complaint notification. With regards to this case we were able to locate a charge after our finance team very rigorously worked on it. We contacted [redacted] via email and informed him about it. The refund for the amount has now been processed from our end....

This is response to the complaint I filed with
Revdex.com.  An email was sent to me on August
**, 2014 and was given six days to respond. 
I am responding on the sixth day and my issue has not been resolved with
iYogi.
An Expressed Contract was between iYogi and I where
iYogi had offered me 24/7 complete tech support and optimization for two full
years.  I accepted their offer by paying
them the money which iYogi charged my credit card plus additional fees.  They have not provided me with service in
fixing my laptop or optimizing my computer. 
The iYogi tech support who supposed to remove all my malware and
optimized my laptop was not done and falsely told me that my malware was
removed and optimized.  The following day
my computer would freeze up when I would try to go my school website or any
website.  In other words, my laptop was non-operational.  I had no choice but to physically bring it to
a service person that specialized in computer repairs.  [redacted] (service tech) said that there was 5
large applications from iYogi installed on my computer causing it to
malfunction even further; at the same time, a huge tool bar was added onto the
desktop and numerous icons with igenni software was also installed.  I am awaiting a notarized letter from the
service tech stating in detail the work he did in fixing my laptop after iYogi
tech support damage it.  It was confirmed
by [redacted] that NO malware was removed, no cleanup, my registry was not fixed and
lastly no optimization done as promised by iYogi tech support.
When I tried calling iYogi on Monday, August [redacted],
and spoke with a tech support who did not seem like he wanted to deal with my
issue, he transferred me to another tech support person who did not speak
English very well.  I related what I
wanted done on my computer such as to optimize it further but the tech support
was not listening instead he kept telling me that he will remove my antivirus
software.  My antivirus software had
nothing to do with what I was asking.  I communicated
my dissatisfaction and yet nothing was resolved.  In conclusion,  iYogi has breached the contract because no
repairs was done or any service except installing applications on my laptop
causing it to be in a much worse state. 
I have lost all good faith in that company and would
like all the monies charged on my account to be fully refunded.  I will forward the notarized letter from [redacted]
once I receive it.

email has an opt-out option and the auto renewal is carried forward only for the customers who do not opt-out. As we did not receive any response from the complainant so we initiated the automatic renewal charge for his existing subscription with iYogi.We at iYogi respect the customer's decision though, so if the customer doesn't want to renew his subscription and doesn't want anyone from iYogi to call him , we request him to send us the cheque details on here. We will send him a refund cheque of the amount $299.99. We will require the following details.1. The name to be mentioned on the refund cheque.2. The complete mailing address where the cheque needs to be delivered.Thank YouRegards[redacted], iYogi
