I bought a love seat on February 19, I was told to come pick it up Tuesday February 27, by the salesman Brian R*** My husband works nights so he had to make changes to get up and go pick up the couch We get to the store and we were told the couch wasn't there and they couldn't tell us exactly when it would be there Their warehouse is in Chehalis Washington, minutes from the storeI asked if I could get free delivery whenever it came in and I was told No My only options were to wait for the couch or take the floor model with no reduced price I took the floor model but I'm not happy with they way they were or my options I feel if I'm told to come in on a certain day to pick up something that I paid for, then I should be able toAnd if they dropped they ball they should be willing to do something extra to make up for it I didn't ask for a lot I truly would have been fine with free delivery and I would have waited for the couchNow I have a couch that isn

I will not buy from JRs furniture ever againI purchased a couch the end of February it took two weeks to deliverTowards the end of April the stitching started to unravel on certain parts an what they did was sent some one to stitch, it's very noticeableNow in other spots it's starting to do the sameThey sale horrible quality furnitureI had my couch a month and a half brand new before it started to unstitch

I ordered a sectional in store and was told it was in stock with two available Two weeks later one was delivered The delivery people were unable to get it to assemble and it had scuff marks, tears, and a broken wedge back 3rd party delivery would not take back
I called the store and it was admitted that the didn't have one in stock and they had sent me the floor model without my consent I had paid for a new couch

My experience with the Jr furniture store in hillsboroIt's been a nightmare I never got my furniture I order and and at the end they brought me a display one and all broken with out telling meSo I didn't took it and I ask for my money back and it's been weeks and still no money backI call the store and they say I was suppose to get a check by mailBut at first they said they will reverse it to my debit card Until now noting is back on my card or anything by mailVery frustrating

I'd rather shop at *** or even go to *** *** before I ever go to this furniture place in my lifeI had ordered a chest and was told it would be there within two week so I was ok with waitingThe two weeks past and I did not receive a phone callSo I decided to call, and was told that they had to check and I will get a call within the next minutesI waited, and when I received the phone call they told me that my chest was there and ready to pick upI wondered how long it had been there already and why they didn't call, but that didn't matter as long as it was hereMy husband and I picked up our chest on December 26th, very excited, because this item was for our nurseryOnce we got home and opened it within the next few hours the back leg was completely brokenI got very upset, because this is something they did before it was packed, but they packed it and gave it to us anywayI called the store very upset and Antonio which is the salesperson who helped us said well you can bring it back and we can reorder one and it will be here in weeksI can't wait another two week I was do any momentSo I told him that I can't wait again and that I would like a refundHe replied with "ok we can give you a store credit." First of all why would I want to shop again at this horrible store and second why should I get a store credit when this was their faultI told him I don't want a refund and I want my money back and he told me that he can't do that only the manager who's name is also AntonioI went in that same day to drop off the broken itemI was not given any form of proof that I had dropped off the chest so I asked Antonio to write on the receipt that it was dropped off and to sign, and he did
My husband went back into the store on December 27th, and was told we will receive a refund within daysIt know has been two weeks since we were told we would get our refundOn January 8th, I called the Hillsboro store and was told the manager was a different locationSo I contacted the Hubbard store and was told he would call me back as soon as possibleI never received a phone call from him at allI had also previously called him the week before and never returned my call eitherI decided to call the Hillsboro store again to see if anyone can give me an update on my refundI was put on hold and Antonio who was the salesperson who helped us answered and said that they accepted and I should be getting it soon and he will give me a call back with an updateIt is now January 10th, still no refund and no phone call from themI will not let scam us or get away with thisI will keep calling them until they return my money back!

Purchased chair and couch and Love seat in April Delivered ~weeks ago, mid-June The Love seat is already brokenI called JR Furniture to complain July 10thThey said that they would have a repairman contact me within hoursWhen I called they tried to make me feel guilty...so I also filed a complaint using their on line system

restocking fee per policyI later talked to the store manager who said the same thingI threatened to contact my credit card company and consult legal help since a restocking fee on a discontinued product makes no senseHe then said he would call corporate and see what they could doI called yesterday for an update and he said I would be receiving a full refund within days

THE REFUND WAS PROCESSED ON FRIDAY 11-4-

I purchased my couch about years ago from JR Furniture and they sold me on a year warranty programI recently had a small rip in just the fabric of my couchI sent all documentation/pictures to the warranty company GBS Warranty and was told they would contact me in daysA week and a half later I never heard from them so I calledTheir response was a simple " That's flaking not a tear and your claim is denied" I decided to call J R furniture to express my frustrationI called times over a period of a week before receiving a call backI talked to a man who claims he was the manager (Paul)He as well gave a nonchalant response saying it looked like a small nick and not a FULL tear and there was nothing he could doHe proceeded to tell me I should have called J R Furniture first and they would basically would have coached me on what to say to GBSThat is called fraud! I told him I wanted my money back for the warranty program or for J R to replace that section of my couc

The customer had purchased sectional in August, We had replaced the sofa in because it was beyond repairThe customer started having issues with the same piece in September We had send our technician for inspectionUpon inspection he stated that the sofa had multiple issues and
this is something that is not covered under the manufacturers warranty. The customer had purchased the extended warranty which is good for yearsAccording to the extended warranty company if they are replacing a piece than that piece is out of warrantyWe have already replaced that piece once and as a courtesy were willing to replace that piece one more time which than they wont have any warranty on the sofa but still have warranty on the other piecesThe customer didn't want the piece replacedWe have tried to explain that once a piece is exchanged than it doesn't have warrantyWe are sorry that the customer is having issues but we did everything that we could do on our end

When dealing with our salesperson Asif, Khan we informed him that if we are going to order the items listed on our sales order that we need to have it no later then 03/23/as we wanted to surprise our daughter with a new bedroom, he informed us this would not be a problem as everything was in stock and should arrive no problem from California
Well when it came to such date just waiting for these items to finish the room and wanting to purchase a mattress from you also once the items came it this did not happenWe contacted on date referenced and we were told that it was still in transit and would be there 03/26/which wold technically be one day over the max week windowI informed the manager of the store that I would like my deposit back as now I need to find a bedroom set in a hurry, he informed me that this was not an option and I would have to wait and pay for the items when they came in, not willing to work with

This complaint falls under both delivery issues and customer service issuesI went into JR Furniture on May 26th, and purchased in full a couch and love seat setI told the salesman that I needed it delivered on June 6th, because I would be out of the country until that date and he promised me that I would get my delivery on that date since it was so far outI go on my trip and when I get back to the states on June 4th and I see that I have two voicemails from JR trying to schedule my delivery, so I call them immediately and get told that they could not confirm my delivery because no one in the store could do so on the weekendSeemed strange to me that no one could confirm or schedule a delivery on a weekend knowing that in retail most of their business is done on the weekendSo I wait and call them again Monday, June 6thOnce I called they confirmed my delivery for that night between 4-7pmAbout an hour later they call me back and say that my furniture is not in their
