Purchased a glass living room coffee table set from JR Furniture in Hubbard, Oregonend tables and a coffee tableThe end table shattered and caused serious injuries to myself, my daughter, and my fianceeNo items were sitting on the table, not even a table lampSimply tounched the table to move it over a couple of inches and it exploded! Supposedly tempered glass; caused severe cuts to my daughter’s legs, my legs, and my fiancées handsManager, Antonio in Hubbard said he talked to his District Manager and they would not help us because it had been over one year from purchaseBasically told us to go ahead and get an attorney and sue them if I wanted to! Absolutely unacceptable! They won’t even come out and pick up their defective dangerous items or order a replacement glass top so we can give the set to the Goodwill or attempt to sell or give away! Told us to go to a glass shop and order it ourselves! Will never buy fr them again!

I bought a custom sofa from JR Furniture & Mattress that is manufactured by Stanton sofasThis particular manufacturer, JR Furniture claims that it takes about to weeks to be built and ready for deliveryEight weeks go by, I don't hear from the store, so I callI ask them where is the sofa, they tell me that they do not know, that they need to contact the manufacturerJR Furniture calls me back saying that the manufacturer is having supply issues or something to that effect and that it's going to take another two weeksJuly 10th comes around, I do not hear from JR Furniture, so I call themSame story, that they do not know where it is and need to contact the manufacturerJr Furniture calls me back saying that it is going to be another to weeksAt this point they are giving me free deliveryI get a voicemail on August 7th that the furniture is at the store

The technician had called Wednesday and Thursday and left messages for him to call to schedule for repairAt least the customer answered today when they called again and he is scheduled for July 19th

How the warranty works with this manufacturer is that from day one if there is a issue it has to be dealt with the manufacturer directlyThe customer refused to do that as she said that she bought from us and we have to take care of itI understand what she is saying but different manufactures
have different claim proceduresWe have ordered her the replacement piece and it should be coming in couple of weeks

I was visiting my son in Oregon and wanted to purchase a bedroom suite for him to be delivered while I was there I went to JR Furniture and was told by the salesman John H*** that the suite would be delivered on Wednesday July even if they had to send the floor model Several calls on the 6th resulted in the suite not being delivered and excuses made for the delay As my son works nights, we were prepared to accept the suite and his discussion with the manager "John" was also unacceptable I would have gone somewhere else to purchase if I had been told the suite could not be delivered in time This is a terrible business practice and I would not deal with them again or recommend them for any reason

October 25, 2018To whom it may concernWe, my husband and I, are writing you as a complaint.  We have purchased a sofa and chair from J & R Furniture in Tacoma, subsity of Lakewood.Enclosed is a copy of our purchase.  In July, of 2018, we ran into manufacture problems of fabric content, loose threads and basic wear and tear.  I have used the chair mostly as a comfort chair due to my surgery, last May, 2018.  We talked to the management, they wrote up a repair and also send me a yard of the furniture fabric.  We told them that we would be on vacation from the 23rd of July until the 8th of August.  We went on vacation and had a phone call during our vacation towards the end.  Could not be home and did not have a person present to help.  Called when we returned, no answer, went to the store, plus a few phone calls, never heard anything, crossing the toll bridge at least twice, paperwork written again and never
