About two years ago, we purchased roughly $10k worth of furnitures from JRFurnitureWhen the items were delievered, we noticed strong smells that make us feel dizzy and uncomfortableWe called them but were told that all sales are final and we could at most send the items back to get a 75% store credit, or we could ventilate and see if that helpsWe chose to ventilateAfter a few months, most items no longer have smells and were usableUnfortunately, there were one drawer and one night stand that always have extremely strong smells even till today, which is nearly two years after ventilation, and we have never been able to use themWhenever we get close to these drawers for a few minutes, we feel dizzy and want to vomitWe think they must have used cheap and unhealthy paints and glues that made them so terribleWe called JR Furniture, and were told that we waited for too long and had we called them earlier, they could have done something and there was a one year manufacture w

My husband and I purchased a king size bed and frame from JR furniture and mattress on 8/17/ we were told the day we made the purchase that the furniture would be delivered on 8/23/and call would be made telling of the delivery time the day beforeOn 8/22/we receive a call but there was no delivery time given when we called to inquire we were told the delivery would not be made as promised which was not the agreement that was made when first made the purchase after a long conversation we were told that the delivery would be made on 8/23/then we received a call from the driver the day of delivery to inform us that the delivery wouldn't made because of a flat tire and were told to pick up the furniture ourselves When contacting the store we were met extreme rudeness and yelling even to the point of calling my husband a women we asked for a refund and the store manager has refused So we are filing this complaint because of the rude service and terrible treatment

I got the run around from JR Furniture todaythey were suppose to deliver my paid couch set and never did after talking to them on the phone times being promised it would be here todayIt was scheduled but never showedThe first scheduled time was suppose to be between am and noonNever heard from them so I called and they changed the delivery time to between and pmbecause they say they made a mistake or typo on my phone #Again they didnt show in that time frame so I called again and they said they guarantee it will be here tonightNever received my furniture as I waited all day with their promises it would get hereThis was a scheduled delivery that never showedIts now 10:pmI talked to them days before delivery to confirm the day and timeTheres no excuse for such bad customer service

On the original paperwork, which the customer signed, only the mattress and not the box-spring was sold to the customer When the customer came to pick up the mattress, he said that he ordered a box-springMichele then explained that he didn't pay for a box spring and that we would give him
the maximum discount of 20% off During this time the warehouse man loaded up the boxspring into the customer vehicle The customer refused to sign the delivery slip and Michele told the W/H guy to unload the box spring At that time the customer took a swing at the W/H guy Though out the entire exchange the customer was swearing and cursing

How the warranty works with this manufacturer is that from day one if there is a issue it has to be dealt with the manufacturer directlyThe customer refused to do that as she said that she bought from us and we have to take care of itI understand what she is saying but different manufactures
have different claim proceduresWe have ordered her the replacement piece and it should be coming in couple of weeks

The issue as I understand it is that the customer had a delay on their special order and now want to cancelI am sorry that we have not been able to get the merchandise quicker.On the agreement she signed, it states that arrival times are approximate and All special orders are Non-Cancellable.The
merchandise is complete at the factory and we will receive it on Wednesday May 30thWe would be happy to offer the customer free delivery to help compensate for the delayWe would also be willing to add on the Five Year extended warranty at no price to the customer.We look forward to resolving this and getting the customer the furniture they ordered. We purchase the couch June 14th of last year, we've had issues with the couch and have emailed the company about our concernsThey have had a technician come and look at the couch and explained that it is for the couch to feel that way, I understand his argument and had him compare the two different couches and obviously there is a difference, sitting on the couch and feeling the wood frame is not normalIf I wanted to feel the wood frame I would have bought a wood couch.His explanation it's and if he had it replaced he would be firedPaying for a couch over $2, just does not make senseI even paid for an extended warrantyI can understand if the couch is a couple of years old, it's not even a year old

Sorry we can not take back an item that was special order, we simply cannot take it back the customers responsibility to measure the space the item or items need to be placed before purchasing

I purchased a sofa 1/2/from JR Furniture and financed with ZibbyThe 1st issue was it took a few weeks to get the sofaThe 2nd issue was the delivery process they fell though on delivering it times witch cause me to miss time from workOn the 3rd time the delivery was super UN professional and I received a damaged productEvery time I have contact the store by phone I get super rude people who say they can’t help me and a manager will call me back but no one ever calls backThe loan company Zibby advised me to not make payments on the sofa until the issue is resolved however the account is becoming very past dueThe 2nd delivery again was very UN professional and they showed up un-announcedAgain the 2nd sofa was damaged not as bad as the 1st but still damaged and it took them a little over a week to get the 2nd sofa outNow for over a month Zibby and I have been trying to get in contact with the store to get a return/refund processed or a discount on the damaged product

I purchased two productsa queen size mattress and sectional sofa from JR Furniture store in Tukwila, WAThe company advertised year warranty on a queen mattress (cost $639.19) and year warranty on the corner sectional sofa (total $2465.71)After months of use, both items developed faults - the mattress developed a bow (sagging mattress)The sectional sofa and it's top cushions (backrest) had deformed, have a wavy (not straight) shape on top and in addition, the sitting area also bacame saggy after months of use

I was visiting my son in Oregon and wanted to purchase a bedroom suite for him to be delivered while I was there I went to JR Furniture and was told by the salesman John H*** that the suite would be delivered on Wednesday July even if they had to send the floor model Several calls on the 6th resulted in the suite not being delivered and excuses made for the delay As my son works nights, we were prepared to accept the suite and his discussion with the manager "John" was also unacceptable I would have gone somewhere else to purchase if I had been told the suite could not be delivered in time This is a terrible business practice and I would not deal with them again or recommend them for any reason
