Jr furniture lied about couch and chair being leatherThey made of bonded leather and the coating is delaminating
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The furniture was not ordered it was on their show room floor we paid for it and called the next day to cancelThe next day we checked on the internet and found some bad reviews so we decided not to take itWe called the furniture store to cancel our order we wanted to cancel on the second day because their policy stated you cannot cancel after the third dayThe store said they could not cancel we would have to wait until the third day because the boss was outWe said no because your policy states we cannot cancel after the third day so we called visa and won that disputeWe paid for this furniture on 4/12/at 3:59PM and on 4/13/ we are being charged $for restocking something that was never orderdedThis is not fair they are unethical and totally in the wrong we deserve our money back! We spent $on a bedroom furniture set, when we went to put it together the headboard was the wrong size/color, the quality was extremely poor, hardware was missing to put the bedframe together, and they gave us the wrong dresser than what we orderedThere were scratches and chips in the furniture as wellMy husband called the general manager of the store and he told us 'you get what you pay for' and that he could send a technician out to look at it but we could return it for a 20% restocking fee or deal w/ itWe can't even put the set together because of the headboard being a different sizeThey did not send us the correct pieces nor the hardware to put it together
We bought two sofas from the Tukwila store December 9th, We were told that they would be ready to pick up at their Lynwood store the following Saturday the 15th We called before we went to get them and were informed that they were not there yet, but could arranged delivery on the 19th, at their expense The 19th came and went, no call, nothing I stopped by the Tukwila store on Friday the 21st, talked to both Sonia who was the salesperson and the manager Paul, who guaranteed my that they were being delivered as we spoke to the Lynwood store He said they thought we would get delivery later on Friday I called back two hours later and was told now that they were not on the truck after all, but would be delivered the next day before 3PM Finally, the delivery came, order was wrong as they delivered a sofa and a loveseat instead of two sofas that were ordered To top it off, the delivery guys just dropped it off in the driveway and left, no help to bring them in the house at all or even to unpack them from the cardboard boxes I am not sure how they sell anything
The customer was charged a 20% restocking fee for the cancelation of the order as stated on the policy agreement that they signed We received the product for the customer the day after they ordered it and it has been sitting in our warehouse for them ever since The policy clearly
states that all orders that are cancelled are subject to a 20% restock fee

I still haven't received a date that the new chair will be order or when I will be receiveing the new chairI was told that they have to order a minof chairs at a timeTo this day I have called once to find out when I can expect the new chair and was toldthat they should be able to orde the chair in a few weeksSo at this point I am waiting to find out when the chair is going to be order and when it will get here

This complaint falls under both delivery issues and customer service issuesI went into JR Furniture on May 26th, and purchased in full a couch and love seat setI told the salesman that I needed it delivered on June 6th, because I would be out of the country until that date and he promised me that I would get my delivery on that date since it was so far outI go on my trip and when I get back to the states on June 4th and I see that I have two voicemails from JR trying to schedule my delivery, so I call them immediately and get told that they could not confirm my delivery because no one in the store could do so on the weekendSeemed strange to me that no one could confirm or schedule a delivery on a weekend knowing that in retail most of their business is done on the weekendSo I wait and call them again Monday, June 6thOnce I called they confirmed my delivery for that night between 4-7pmAbout an hour later they call me back and say that my furniture is not in their

My husband and I purchased a king size bed and frame from JR furniture and mattress on 8/17/ we were told the day we made the purchase that the furniture would be delivered on 8/23/and call would be made telling of the delivery time the day beforeOn 8/22/we receive a call but there was no delivery time given when we called to inquire we were told the delivery would not be made as promised which was not the agreement that was made when first made the purchase after a long conversation we were told that the delivery would be made on 8/23/then we received a call from the driver the day of delivery to inform us that the delivery wouldn't made because of a flat tire and were told to pick up the furniture ourselves When contacting the store we were met extreme rudeness and yelling even to the point of calling my husband a women we asked for a refund and the store manager has refused So we are filing this complaint because of the rude service and terrible treatment
