I want to share a positive review for PODS We have never used PODS before but I must say that the experience was wonderful! The staff is so helpful and friendlyI like dealing with a company who walks their talk When they said they would be there to deliver the POD at a certain time, they were! They made our move less stressful! We have used moving companies where they pack and move everything for you, while they were good, packing and moving our things into the POD was less stressful We did not have to be on a certain time frame Thank you PODS!

PODS had delivered a 16ft and 7ft storage container on different days.The first delivery was the delivery of the 16ft container to the properties driveway with no issuesOn 1/27/the 2nd POD arrived which was the 7ft containerThe driver carelessly drove on the edge of the drive way and onto my grass which tore up the sod and cracked the driveway in spotsMy wife was outside watching and witnessed what the driver didThe driver admitted to my wife he made a mistake and took a photo of the damage and immediately sent it to his bossAs instructed by the driver, my wife immediately contacted a representative Alex who stated that PODS handles customer service issues and they would get it resolvedOn January 30th I received a call from customer service stating that as per contract, they are not liable

We ordered a Pods unit to transport our household goods from Florida to Oregon We paid PODS for a unit with exterior measurements of 8' by 8' by 16' When we received the unit, we discovered that the exterior measurements were 7'6.5" X 8' X 15' 11"
I provided PODS with detailed photos and explanations of this situation and the discrepancy It took PODS customer service over two months to respond to my inquiry and when they finally did respond, I was told that "they would not entertain any compensation"for the loss in space In addition, I was told that their website says that storage unit sizes varyA customer would assume that measurements might only vary by a few inches but not by nearly inches

Pods will not deliver to our house

In an email from my PODS customer service rep, it states the POD would leave ** on 2/and arrive in ** by 3/It never left ***
In an email from Debbie N(the PODS customer service rep I had been working with), she states my belongings would leave ***on 2/when they picked it up and arrive in*** by 3/ I had movers scheduled for 3/ When I called on 3/(after two emails that week to Debbie that had gone unanswered) to get the address of the PODS facility where my belongings were being stored so that I could give that information to my movers for 3/10, I was informed the POD never shipped and they did not know why I now have none of my belongings so an empty apartment I also had guests fly in from ** and had no lodging for them My wedding dress is in the POD and was supposed to be altered on 3/for our wedding I told PODS all of this including that the dress would have to be altered by 3/to ensure it was ready for the wedding and no attempt to expedite was made

Week late delivery, very poor customer service response and communication
5/I reserved a PODS container to move from Seattle to Silver Spring, MD for $2,I was told the POD would be shipped immediately to the Silver Spring area and we could request the POD upon our arrivalPOD arrived in Seattle on 7/13, and was picked up the next dayOn 7/18, I called PODS and requested delivery to our new home in Silver Spring on 7/25, giving me days before starting my job to help my wife unload, since she would otherwise be alone with our infant son and unable to unload it aloneI was told at the time that the earliest the POD could be delivered was Friday 7/because the POD was being stored in Everett, WA - it had not been moved to MDI immediately filed a complaint for the incorrect information I had been given and for the extreme inconvenience this would cause my family - days without our belongings and my wife home alone with a infant to unload the PODA customer service

Unable to Deliver in a timely fashion
I was told that I only needed to provide a few business days notice to have my POD redelivered within the mile radius of pickup In trying to get a delivery scheduled on a Monday for that Friday they told me they were running out about a week and half to two weeks out for delivery Thus in my situation I was closing on my new house Friday planned to unload the POD on Saturday and have it removed on Monday Thus forcing me to reschedule the people helping me to unload, then leaving me in an empty house for a week and causing me to cancel a vacation I had planned for the following week Needless to say if your delivery times are that far out you should revise your business model

I contracted with PODS for one foot container, on the day of my move they could not provide me with the container and offered two foot containers for the same price plus a dollar credit, having to move out I had no choice I called to have the pods delivered to my new address on Thursday August One POD showed up as scheduled but the other never came I called twice to find out what where it was and when it would arrive and was always told it was on another truck and would be there Finally, near PM they admitted that someone at the storage facility had messed up the order and only took one POD out of storage and someone named Ricarado would not have it delivered until Saturday Aug I had already contracted with Pack and Load to empty the containers and now will have to have them come twice and pay them for two times The worst part of this whole mess is no one at PODS even cares that they did not provide the contracted service, or offer any compensation for their mistakes I think PODS corporate police is the customer is always wrong and who cares anyway

The PODs delivery company failed to handle my job correctly They provided the wrong information on delivery dates (the customer service advised of days delivery) when I called back later they advised it could be 8-days? They failed to schedule pick up of my pod, I had to call the company 2x and each time I was on the line for minutes I called to confirm pick up and was advised I was not on the schedule They advised that the best they could do is to reschedule me for a later date? I ordered the pod for drop off on Tuesday, September 4th and pick on Thursday, September 6thThe best they could do is, Saturday, Sept 8th.The customer service agents couldn't expedite the request even though it was their error They could offer me no price adjustment They couldn't even call me back after they resolved the issue, I got stuck on the phone with themI requested a supervisor and or manager for escalated assistance and no one was able to assistI have a job starting in WA on M
