The bank denied it just like I'm knew it would and I got a voicemail giving me a hard time about my paymentWhich I tried several times to pay
Then, on 6/30/the POD was delivered to the wrong addressI called customer service twiceOne time alone I was on hold for minutes and theFinally hung up (I took a photo)
THEN The pod was delivered to the wrong address! I have photos of the documents showing that the correct address was on the schedule it just was ignoredBecause of this I lost my unload team and now have to move the POD and try to unload it somewhere elseM

THERE WAS CONFUSION ON DELIVERY AND P/U INITIALLY AS TO IF I WAS HAVING A POD DELIVERED OR PICKED UP
I HAD THE POD MOVED FROM ARIZONA TO OREGON AND HAD ACCESS SET UP TO ENTER THE POD AND WAS NOT ABLE TO DUE TO CONFUSION AS TO WHERE THE POD WAS AND IT NOT ARRIVING ON TIME
THEN TWO TIMES THE POD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED AND NEVER SHOWED WITH NO CALLS AND VERY POOR, UNRESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I HAD A CASE OPEN WITH THE RESOLUTION CENTER ABOUT NOT HAVING MY POD DELIVERED TWICE AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM
I INITIALLY STATED I DID NOT WANT INSURANCE COVERAGE AND WAS WRONGFULLY CHARGED FOR MONTHS AND CHARGED AGAIN AFTER THE POD WAS CONCLUSIVELY PICKED UP
WITH ALL THESE ISSUES I HAVE HAD VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I AM TOLD THERE ARE NO MANAGERS OR SUPERVISORS TO

PODS will not deliver our POD to us
When we sold our house in *** MA we called PODS to store and move our thingsWhen we called to set up the order we told them we would be moving to the *** VA area but were not sure yet to what townWe were told no problem once we knew the address and delivery date we should just call and they would deliver the POD We now have purchased a house in *** *** VA and called them to deliver the PODThey now tell us that they will not deliver it to our new home We have to pick up out things ourselves If they had informed us when we first rented the POD that they don't deliver to all towns in VA we would never had used this method to move

They advertise it as "flexible, easy and convenient" but a day wait for pickup is none of those things

So I tried to get a quick quote online for moving from state to stateI called customer service and was hung up on instantly after waiting minutesThe second time it didnt take long for me to get a representative but I made the mistake of telling the man why I was movingI am in a weird predicament for why i'm moving and this probably gave him the illusion that I wasnt actually trying to move and was wasting his time or something because he asked me "why would you be trying to move if..."I wasnt being hostile at all during our conversation but as soon as this happened he started acting very hostile, rushing me through and not caring about what he said or what I had to sayHe asked me how much I was looking to spend, I said I had never done this and wouldnt know how much it costHe gave me a quote of and I said " I didnt think it would be that much" at that point he started telling me that of course it wouldnt be lower than and laughed, pretty much making me feel bad that I even made the call
At the end he ignored me while stating things about how my quote number was this and that I had days until I ran out and said "do you have anymore questions" even though I was clearly asking one before he started talkingI said no because I could tell he didnt want to talk to me, and I wasnt going to continue talking to that man
I wonder if they're paid commission for making the sale because this man had no obvious trust or care about the customer after he found out why and when I was moving
I understand that one support representative doesnt speak for the entire company, but it would leave a sour taste in my mouth if I didnt leave something letting others know about itTypically if I have a connection with a company I would leave it be, but this was my first interaction with PODS
I wouldnt personally use it, but I understand at what a good idea this business is and might recommend it

PODS shipped my items to the wrong state, then charged my credit card for their error, without my authorization or telling me the amounts

Beware of the contents coverage
PODS is a convenient way to store your belongings while you are house-hunting and moving out of an areaIt beats having to use a storage facility as you do not have to load and unload a storage unit off of your premisesThe gripe is in the monthly storage fee and the complete lack of communication from the customer service agent in regards to the insurance coverage ($10,in coverage)I was quoted a monthly fee of $for a ft POD which included contents coverage of up to $10,At no time did the customer service agent state that this was an OPTIONAL coverage that you can declineIt was rolled up into the quote as standard practice without discussionThis contents coverage (insurance) is $49.95/month-- an additional 20% fee on top of the $POD fee for the 12ft unitI did not know that this was optional until I had arranged for my POD to be delivered after months of storage and the agent reviewed my invoice and stated that I had the optional coverage in addition to the POD feeIt was then that I began to ask about this "Optional" coverageI filed a grievance, asked for a return of the $for months because I did not have the option to decline, and was told that I had to wait a minimum of days for a customer resolution specialist to determine whether or not I had a case
The customer resolution specialist contacted me this afternoon (days later)She informed me that PODS would not be reimbursing for the coverage fee as it is not a standard practice for the customer service agents to make it known that this is an OPTIONAL fee and that you can opt outI asked if I can get a transcript of the original conversation with the customer service agent that took my initial call so that I could clearly see that they did not present this as an "option" but rather part of the monthly fee- she stated that I would need to obtain a subpoena as these transcripts are proprietary and can only be used by PODS
The contents coverage is not detailed in the FAQ's regarding "how much does it cost?" nor on the websiteIt is hidden in the fine print amongst the minutia of lawyer-speak and jibberishThis is a slimy sales tactic that adds profit to their bottom line and fleeces the customer baseYes, contents coverage is a great option to have BUT it needs to be presented as an OPTIONNot everyone needs to insure their contents- especially at a 20% premiumIt would be an honest (and transparent) customer service if your agents would discuss this fee as an "addition" to the standard monthly fee
