We rented a storage unit from PODS for the last yearAll of my furniture was covered when the items were placed in the PODWe also had clothes and the rest of my entire home in the PODThe website states that the unit will be picked up straight so that items do not shift or move aroundHowever, the website does not state that items placed in the unit will potentially be sun damagedWhen the POD was delivered and moved both times our yard was damaged in both locationsWe have thousands of dollars of furniture that were faded by the sun so badly you can not tell what color it was originallyI have clothes and other possessions that were ruined by mold and mildewWe started a claim and were told someone would come out to look at it but received a call telling us we should have expected sun damage if we did not cover our furnitureA storage unit would have been cheaper and I would not have ruined sun damaged items or the amount of mold or mildewed itemsPODS are unwilling to help

My PODS unit was not picked up on the date I requested and it has caused delays in taking pictures of my house needed to list it for sale

I've had an absolutely horrible experience so far with PODS and I haven't even had my POD picked up yet! I left a voicemail on some manager's answering machine yesterday after speaking to four different people about my account and still haven't heard backI am livid and will resolve to tell my story to anyone that will listen to me about how terribly run your company is and that I wouldn't trust you to move my stuff ever again

I have received a weekly email from this company since November Company offers a Unsubscribe link which I have clicked countless times and have received an automated confirmation that I will be removed but I get a new email every week The last emails, the Unsubscribe button no longer works I then attempted to reach out via email with zero response from the company

The Company damaged my retaining wall on my property after they picked up the container when we moved from KY to AZ
I filed a complaint and was told PODs would take care of it right away However this was not the casei spoke with two different people in the claims department and neither person cared my property was damaged PODs said they called the carrier and nothing happened according to them I was encouraged by them to seek legal counsel to resolve the issue I also told them they were a terrible institution and I will never do buisness with them again

First and LAST time I will use PODS.The only positive experience I had with them was with the drop off and pickup
Other than that, I have spent the last months fighting with them over billingFor a service that you pay $a month for, you would expect MUCH MUCH better back end system that wouldn't randomly charge your bank account for stuff that had already been paid for months priorI almost hated getting out of bed to check my bank account and POD account because I knew it would result in me having to call customer service and have them "fix the issue" by manipulating the numbers/charges/credits on the accountOnly to wake up the next day with a whole new set of issues
I would NEVER use PODS again and I will be sure to go out of my way to make sure no one I know uses PODSAs if the experience of going through a move and building a house wasn't stressful enough, PODS made my stress level through the roof
I have a few more weeks with the POD In my driveway, so the current $monetary loss could easily go up againand I suspect it will because of prior rebilling problems
When I signed up for this service, I did it through a promotion that PODS was havingthe promotion was, that if I stored with them for or more months I would get a $creditI have never seen that credit to my account and I don't dare call or bring it up because I am sure that it will blow up and I will be charged randomly for something else
As of today, while looking at the most recent debacle of being recharged for moving blankets that were never deliveredI noticed that my empty pod pickup date was not correctI scheduled for the 20th and the rep confirmed it would be the 20th, but on my account it says the 10th nowWell, I go to manually change it myself and the system spins and spins and then says that it may take 3-minutes to reflect the changes I madeit has now been 30+ minutesstill no update from the 10th of April
I have verified each drop off with a PODS rep as well and how the container is to be placed, but both times they relayed this information to the loading folks incorrectly and the door to my POD was facing the wrong way, making things difficult to load/unload and also taking up more driveway space than initially intended*ISSUE* - Failure to communicate clearly
I could go on and on and break down every detail to each phone call and each email conversation I had with a rep, but just typing this up is stressing me out as it is.I do not want to relive the entire last months of this nightmare

PODS uses a form contract with a gag clause in their issue resolution process, in violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act
I used the PODS container moving company to move my residence from Medford MA to Post Falls ID The container was delayed by three days, which left us in an empty house in a new city with none of our belongings (we arrived by airplane on the day our container was originally scheduled to be delivered) I contacted PODS customer service to request a partial refund They agreed to provide one, but on the condition that I sign a form contract that they provided The form contract contains a "gag clause" that requires me to remove any critical reviews I've posted online and further requires that I never speak about my experience with PODS to anyone This seems to be their standard issue resolution process I believe this is a clear violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act and have declined to sign their form contract

I was told by customer service on 3/that monthly contents protection was not requiredI asked that it be removedIt has not been credited to me

Horrible horrible experience with PODS! First....they were in the process of "updating" their systems so when I had called to have our pods picked up from the house we were selling, it didn't register in their system! It wasn't until I called on the day they were supposed to pick them up that they said "oh, it didn't register Sorry." So the pods sat there after the new owners moved in the house until the trucks could come get them Then...when I called to have them dropped off at our new house, I was informed that they had been sent to a storage facility in NJ instead of in PA (where our final destination was and they knew from the begining), so it would take 8-days for them to deliver them to the new house!!! 8-days!!! So, they basically said...go stay in a hotel and wait for us to give you your stuff back so you can live in your own house!! If we had known from the beginning that the scheduling was so messed up, I NEVER would have used PODS!! We still have no resolution and are waiting!!

I rented a POD for months, and when it came time to pick it up, they cancelled because of weather, and delayed it for daysThey said they would not charge us, but they did anyhowThen when we called and reminded them that they cancelled and not us, they said they would refund our moneyThey have not refunded our money, and keep telling us they didWe called our bank, which has shown no such money was ever returnedThey have stolen $of my money, and I want it back! Which I had canceled within hours, but don't worry they said they would refund my money between to business daysYes definitely the customer should read the fine print, how are your customer service Representatives should be able to explain to you all of the charges and fees and that they will be withdrawing your money days before any Services provided, and also should make you aware of all the extended monthly storage charges beyond the first monthso once you read this you should be able to determine your own review of the customer service and this company's business practices
