PODS failed to pickup on scheduled date and is charging for extra storage
I contracted for a move with PODS to Roy WATwo PODS were scheduled to be pickup on May from my Roy HomeOnly one POD was picked up on MayPODS claimed they could not get in the community gate to pickup the second POD even thou they did to retrieve the first oneThe gate code was posted in the delivery information and I was never called and was home all day
They rescheduled for a return pickup on MayThe billing day was May and they are now charging me for additional monthI have tried no less then times calling them and was disconnected several timesI asked to speak to the local manager and they would not provide the phone numberThey gave me a incident claim # XXXXXXX and claimed a Francisca would call me, that never happenedI called her and left a message no response as of May

POD was supposed to be delivered on 10/between 10:30am-1:30pm, never was delivered Re-delivery scheduled for 10/and POD never delivered

It was dusk but sun had not yet set We called PODs and spent minutes on the phone with their customer service trying to remedy the situation They stated that they would do their best to ensure delivery on Mo

I had the pod delivered to my house and items were received damaged
I had the pod delivered to my house and received the items damagedI was told when I paid for pod it included insurance that is why price was so high.It cost my over to have it delivered and at least items were damagedI sent the photographs and after a month they contact me and told me it was from shifting and they would't give me any money back The prices I gave them were reasonable and I want my money which I am due

Pods is unable to accommodate 3rd party billing (i.eEmployer paid moves) in an efficient fashion
If you are using PODS with th intention to convert the bill to a third party (i.eEmployer pays moving expenses), do not use them I have spent inordinate amounts of time attempting to arrange for delivery of my POD and convert billing to my husbands employer Each time I call, I speak with a different representative who tells me new information, a different hurdle to jump through, and another challenge to overcome Moves are stressful enough, and this component of our move has been the most stressful of all If you are having a third party pay your storage/ transportation fees, try a different company that has a more sophisticated operating system and personal accountabilityNow I just hope my belongings are intact in the PODHere's to hoping

Deceptive Practices and Misinformation
We placed a POD order on 6/17/after being referred to PODS through USAA Moving and Homebuyer service When we were sold the POD we were advised over the phone that re-delivery of the POD would be free
I called in today to schedule this and was advised that it wouldn't be free since we took a promotion instead of a bundle We were not told that this would make us ineligible for the free re-delivery
I went and looked at the order today and see that in fact we were charged for that when we shouldn't have been In addition, I also found a charge for early delivery which we were not told would be charged on the date of the drop off

Do not use this service ! From beginning to end this process and PODS customer service team have been terribleThe initial POD that was delivered was the wrong size and instead of informing me ahead of time that there was an issue the PODs team allowed for the POD to be delivered, and for me to pack my items in the POD prior to calling and stating that they had to replace the PODThroughout this error, on their part, they charged my card twiceThis meant that I was charged approximately $2,more than I was supposed to pay ! When I called for a refund the team informed me that they were working on the issue and would have it resolved quickly Needless to say the issue was not resolved until I called more times to complainI received a call days after my POD pick up informing me that they could not deliver the POD as scheduled and instead my delivery would be delaye

I had a very easy experience in dealing with PODSFrom the customer service team to the drivers and just watching the POD being delivered and picked up was enjoyable Thank you so much
