the tech was great. He explained problem and offered suggestions. However, I do have a complaint. Originally I was shown I had to make a $5 deposit on a $51 charge, which I complied with. Texted with *** and then I saw on screen that I could talk for $35 which I preferred. My TV was gone anyway. I wished I had the option to text or talk upfront. As is, I am charged $51 + $35 for text and talk.

Technician was helpful and gave me time to get my problem resolved. What I didn't understand at first is that the technician would keep my inquiry open (even for a few days) until I could make sure the problem was resolved. Thank you.

Awesome! Money well spent. I was reluctant at first, but was pleasantly surprised by the succinct and accurate answer I received to get my F-150 running from a no-crank, no-start, no-communication condition.

I had no TV reception and kept getting a message that it should be restored shortly. After waiting for 2hrs with still no reception I contacted JustAnswer and a tech expert was able to talk me through a resolution. I couldn't have happier with the response.

I came to this website to find expertise beyond that of my own yet that is only what I find is expertise that's that of my own I'm a reasonably good backyard mechanic. I post a question one time for which I was charged $137 for not getting an answer at all. apparently there were not in any rush to get back to me so I found other sources to get the information I needed since he's people were too lazy to get back to me when I needed it never logged in again yet got this huge bill so that somebody can sit in their living room on their computer and rip me off. I will never seek just answer again and I don't think anyone else should too since this is a way for a bunch of people to take advantage of the public and through the medium of the internet rather than doing anything. What an ideal situation it is for these blowhard mechanics.

Response time can vary due to time of day, amount of Experts online or as you mentioned in your question, when dealing with a very specialized field. I checked your account and the cost for your question was $46 and an Expert did respond. The initial partial $5 was processed but the remaining deposit failed, which is why you were not able to view your question when your Expert did respond. It looks like you signed up for the 7-day free trial, which if not turned off by the 7th day, will bill automatically to avoid any disruptions in service. I can see that you contacted us about these charges on 2/5/2018 and we refunded those charges in full. We have a 100% satisfaction policy, so if you do not get an answer, do not get a satisfactory or are unsatisfied in any way, you can request a full refund within 30 days. One word: E-N-T-R-A-P-M-E-N-T !!!
Stay far away from this "business," for once they get their foot in your door they'll soak you for as much as they can trick you into paying.
(Below, I'm offered only "1. Not very likely" as the worst rating for "How likely are you to recommend this business?" How about offering "1. When *** freezes over!"?)

I found just answer online. I typed in my question and was sent over to the billing page, which showed $5 as payment. After I put in my credit card information, the statement said $46. This is ridiculous and misleading. I understand there is a payment, but it should be provided BEFOREHAND instead of after the payment information is submitted.

My dog was in pain and my the emergency vet required I bring him in for an emergency visit for $100 to start. I simply requested the correct dosage of a medication for my dog. Just answer gave me that for $5 in minutes.

I was very pleased with the answer to my question.Thank you.By the way, I have paid the Initial fee incurred, but have contacted *** to cancel the further monthly deduction of $44.I don't recall doing that, but I trust you're OK with that as well.

wow! MacBook freezing issue.
decision: take to local computer repair store pay 70 bucks for diagnostics and balance of fixing problem or google JustAnswers and take a chance for $30. JustAnswers came thru in 20mins, start to Finish tech stayed online during reinstall (35mins)to be sure all was well. Great Experience, thanx again!

had what I thought was a challenging email issue. The JustAnswer technician, Jason, was able to identify the problem, determine what was required to resolve the problem, and execute the solution in minutes. I am very impressed and would not hesitate to use this service again

An update to my complaint with Just Answer. After filing a complaint on this website they have refunded the charges on my credit card. I was logged onto just answer thinking it was provided by *** and was charged in error. They have refunded my card and resolved the dispute.

I used JustAnswer and to say it was a bad experience is just an understatement. After a relatively modest 10 minute wait, I reached a tech support person who said they could help me. After describing my problem (which cost me $27) they told me they had to login to my computer for another $29. Except they could not. They promised me to refund the money and that was the end of it.

Except it was not. On my credit card both charges appeared. I called the help center and they were willing to remove the $29 but insisted that I pay the $27 because I had spent time with the tech support although they could not help me at all. Therefore, I won't be using them again as I don't need the aggravation as I spent 30 minutes getting no help, and then another 15 minutes working to get a partial refund.

After an email exchange and back and forth JustAnswer did give me a full refund. It was more than I expected as they gave me everything back. I did mention I was giving them a bad review on Revdex.com but now I will write this addendum because after a few days of trouble they are refunding everything.

Excellent responsiveness, patiently assessing my computer problem and resolving the issue effectively and efficiently. My only concern was my concern as to the fee structure up front; perhaps I did not look at the small print. However, end cost was reasonable, and was still less expensive than engaging a local consultant.

Its SCAM, Advertise pay $5 and have live chat, I did paid $5 and then asked for more $31, WOW . Pay them $5 and stuck there then you must have to pay $31. and then you ask your question and lawyer will say now call me and pay $59 . awesome ?
This is scam site. never recommended !

While we don't advertise that you can receive a response for $5, an initial $5 deposit is required at the time the question is posted. The balance of the question price is then collected once an Expert responds to the question.
This information regarding the deposit is displayed on the page where the customer is prompted to submit their payment details and questions are posted only when the customer acknowledges and accepts the payment terms.
An Expert responded to your Legal question which is why you received a charge for the balance due, however, the Expert isn't paid unless you’re satisfied with the help received and rate the service accordingly.
