Though I received an answer from a Veterinarian and I gave them five stars, my experience with the site was more than unsatisfactory due to their practice. They mention most of their details in their fine print while insinuating something entirely different through their advertising. For instance, according to their fine print, if you give an expert 5 stars, then you cannot get a refund, even if your reason for a refund has more so to do with your experience while using the site than the expert. I have requested a refund for their business practices (i.e. they do not clearly state their policies and you have to read their fine print to know all the ins and outs), but I fear that I will not be given my refund, as one of their policies states that refunds are not allotted to those who have given more than three stars to an expert. What does how many stars I give to an expert have to do with the way a business is advertising their prices and trials? With the amount I paid for my service (which was not clearly stated), I could have paid a Vet in person and gotten a real diagnosis.
I have received an e-mail stating that my refund has been cancelled, and that I will be receiving it within the week, but we will see if that happens. I was hoping to continue using it after the trial period, but after my experience, I have decided to cancel my membership. I did not know that I would be charged for my first question in addition to membership fees (which are applied after your trial period). This should not be stated solely in the fine part!
All in all, a very disappointing experience. I am sure there are many good experts on the website, but the way the prices are hidden in the fine print makes for a very troublesome experience. I suggest that others keep this in mind while using the site. There are definitely strings attached!

I thought my 20 year old cat may have eaten 5 of my nerve pills. I looked it up on the internet and it said it would be fatal. I called the vet and they told me to call animal poison control which was a $70 charge. I went here and the vet told me that likely if my cat had eaten them she would just be tired and groggy. Even in her Advanced age she would probably make it but to keep an eye on her and if she seemed respiratory depressed or I couldn't Rouse her to take her to the emergency vet. I was very comforted by this and stayed up most of the night with my cat. It turned out that the cat was perfectly fine and I had miscounted the pills. Luckily I didn't rush the cat to the emergency vet and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars and distress the cat even more. Luckily I didn't spend $70 I didn't have on the animal poison control. I am very satisfied with the service I was provided, the vet helped me feel at ease that even if my cat had taken the pills she would be able to metabolize the dose and gave me signs to look for and offered what I should watch for and know when it was time to take her to the emergency vet if I had to. Luckily I didn't have to. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

I could not get into my iMac email. *** help and justAnswer said the were *** support. texted to the first person avail my problem she ref to a specialist and I had to put in my credit card info. I thought it was *** support and was confused. Gave credit card info and typed my problem in it said someone was working on it and they would give me the answer there or or on email. They also gave me info on an app for my phone. The app was for an iPhone and I have android. I went back to their page and asked when someone would get with me. Sat there for 20 minutes got mad. Went and found a phone for *** where I was told they were not *** support. Nice gal had me fixed in less than 5 minutes. When I got into my email there was a message from JustAnswer telling me they would have an answer to my problem soon. My problem was I couldn't get into my email. They should not give *** support when it is free and fast directly from ***
. I panicked that they had my Visa #. I see they have a high rating but if I am charged 5 bucks for nothing I will be very angry.

I was referred to these people from a *** troubleshooter that could not answer my question about how to get their 4tb hard drive to work on win7.
I was told it would cost a refundable $5 and give me a reply within 1/2 hour.
I figured it out myself and the next day I finally had a response from them that was inaccurate and I figured chalk up the $5 as a learning experience.
Luckily I charged this to my American Express and the next day I get a notification from them for a fraudulent purchase at *** in Tucson, Az. Upon further inspection I find that justanswer has not only charged my card for the $5 there were 2 more charges for about $40 each.
I don't know if just answer only overcharged me or if they also gave out my card # for the *** purchase -- doesn't really matter a new card is on it's way.
Moral of the story: charge it on American Express - everything got cancelled out immediately and I'm not waiting for their complaint dept to maybe refund my money.
No action needed This problem has been resolved to my satisfaction.
Contacted *** and they do not recommend others. I was a dealer for them back in the day and I know them as a reputable company. I have to suspect that their troubleshooter at the time was new and not only did not know the answer but also referred me to justanswer.

I wanted to ask a Dr what my symptoms meant. The advertising said "free trial". I clicked on it and it requested I pay $5. I gave them my CC then asked my question. After receiving my answer, I cancelled the trial. Later that day I see the $5 charge on my bank account and then there was another $38 after that. When I called to complain, they told me that my question cost $38 and that the free trial was only for people who signed up to use it every month. I could have gone to my Dr and paid less and would have gotten more information than I received on this sight. I'm telling all my friends not to ever use this sight. It's a rip-off!!

Well to use an old USAF definition of a clunker - my Mercedes S500 4MATIC is a Hangar Queen - fix one problem to make room for another. ***, Mercedes Tech with Just Answer, has the patience of a sphinx and works me through each problem step by step at the neanderthal level of explaination to ensure I understand what I am doing rather than just robotic response to his insructions. Have rated *** a continuous series of 5 stars with each contact only because Just Answer does not proovide ratings higher than 5 stars.
I had a problem relating to electronics, which I don't understand most of them time. Once phrasing my question and answering additional follow-up questions from the tech assigned to my inquiry I did get my answer which resolved my issue immediately. Great service.
