I asked a question and got a generic response. Then I got hit for 29.00. I called ‘***’ in customer service and he said I received notices before being charged but I had not. At this time they will not give me back my 29.00. I feel this is a scam web site based on how long it took me to get an answer to my question and the generic answer I got. Never again will I use this so called company. Poor customer service and a company with a billing nightmare.
My fellow fur babies parents DO NOT EVER GO TO JUST ANSWER. they will take your hard earned money. SCAM company.
A repeatable company certainly would not of treated a customer in this manner. I had to learn the hard way please dont allow yourself do experience this SCAM so called company.
Terms and conditions is a great way to hide and steal your money.

I cancel my membership over a mouth ago. I seen a charge on my account for them I called an ask why. thay sad that I did not cancel membership completely thay did show that I had made the request true there online member cancel sit. that tried to take money out last mouth it fail thin thay turn round this mouth and take the money out on a membership that had been cancel .that's not right. I would like my money back.

Hello.

On 10/13/2019, I signed up for a 1-week trial membership on JustAnswer*** for $1. (JustAnswer*** is an online platform where members can ask questions that pertains to medical issues to experts that work for the website)
When I signed up for the trial membership, I was told that I will receive a reminder email that will ask me whether I would like to continue my membership for $29 a month.
After chatting for a few minutes on the same day (i.e. 10/13), I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sign up for a monthly membership. (10/13 was the one and only time when I used their service)
I waited to receive the cancelation email from them, but didn’t see any. Exactly a week later (10/20/2019), I went on to their website and manually cancelled my membership.
To my surprise, however, it came to my attention that they went ahead and charged me $29.
I contacted them to ask them to refund my $29 but they keep on insisting that they cannot make the refund because I agreed to their terms and conditions.

Here are my points of argument:
1. I have not received a reminder email (may have gone into my spam account)
2. I have never used any of their service since 10/13, which was the very first day of the trial period
3. Their website specifically states “100% money-back guarantee. If you aren’t happy for any reason, we’ll refund your money. No questions asked. ***
Is there any way you can help me get my $29 refunded back and stop them from potentially scamming others like they did to me?

As with any membership or subscription trial, if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, you will automatically be charged for your first month to avoid any disruption in service. Additionally, we send out emails welcoming you to the membership and an email is sent before your trial is ending.

Per our terms of service that you agreed to when you enrolled in the membership, the membership payment is not eligible for a refund as stated in section 10, subheading "Refunds, Cancellations, Abuse and Special Programs" as follows;

Although your payment is not eligible for a refund under our terms of service, as a courtesy to you we have refunded the membership payment for you. The funds are made available to your bank the next business day, however, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy.

After reading some of the one star ratings here, I believe I might be in the twilight zone, because my experience with the site was just the opposite of what I read. IF you read the introduction to "just answer" completely, you will understand the very low introductoy charge for the first expert answer you get. Thereafter, the company discloses, right up front, that it is a subscription service for which one will be billed monthly as long as you want to avail yourself of their expert analysis. I admit it was a shot in the dark, but I made an attempt to review the review sites and all seemed okay. My experts answers were spot on and very helpful for my legal question. Her answer enabled me to make the best decision for my situation. I did lots of research internet research before resorting to "just answer". Their input was just a piece of the puzzle I was trying to unravel. I highly recommend them, but you must always read the terms of engagement of any website service. You can cancel at any time. Find out how to cancel and copy it before you engage the service. Test them well and use a payment system or credit card that works on your behalf hold up payment if your dissatisfied. I recommend AMEX in that regard, but other companies are good as well. Good luck.

Received a quick and accurate review. Very professional. The mechanic was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

I had a legal question and needed an immediate answer. Just Answer was able to provide me the answer within minutes of contacting them.

I believe he did an excellent job in giving me the reference as well ask utilized it in our conversation.

My tech was very personable and professional and solved my problem. It took some time but the tech was patient with me and I am set to go.

AT&T was bilking a customer and did not want to return funds. JustAnswer gave us a true picture of the law so we my proceed with requesting $20,000.00.

I was unable to find the answer that I needed about a trouble code on my vehicle until I used Just Answer.

JustAns is my official second opinion. The directions given are comforting when they're aligned with the feedback of my first opinion.
Worth every penny imho.

I found this really helpful,because I work full-time this is convenient,hassle free for a small fee its worth it...

On my debit card statement there was a charge of $46 . When I called company they gave me just answer and telephone number I called and they refused to take of billing I didn't authorize or know who they are

I called and cancelled my membership on April 2019. They did not cancel my membership instead they charged BOTH of my bank Accounts (I have copies from the bank) I continued to be charged double thru April and May. I was charged $46.00 in the months of June, July, August and September. They did not take any responsibility for the overage they extracted from me.
When I confronted the customer resort person she agreed to refund $184.00. Instead I received $92.00.

JustAnswer is not at all clear with the way they charge customers. I placed an order for a single response from someone with what seemed like clear pricing. The following month they charged me $53. After calling them about the recent charge, they said despite not using the service and calling right after I was charged, they were unable to refund me.

furnished me with a link that shows how to replace a side view mirror. The information was helpful even though I had already viewed the same info on two different sites. Plan to cancel my membership as I am going to sell my Honda Pilot. I hope I don't have issues that other reviewers/commenters have had with charges to my credit card!

My cat has been going through serious medical issues (kidney failure/diabetes), and of course, it’s always at night when I need help. Since my vet isn’t open I turned to the site. I’ve had 3 different Drs help me on the site over the past month and they have given me very sound advice and have saved me from going to the ER. The wait time can be a bit long, up to 15 min, but it’s still worth it to me to have answers from professionals versus online search. I’d recommend it, especially for pets.

Pulled my stones out of the fire. I am donating my old computer and wanted to clean all of my personal files out of it. *** wanted to charge me $139 to do it but was much less expensive this way.
I would highly recommend this service to anyone who needs quick and responsive service.
Got my answer within 10 minutes and all my answers were correct.

I initially tried JustAnswer and was disappointed with the legal help. I received answers (of course), but the answers were not of a nature that I could totally understand what I needed to do or were not complete (papers returned from the Court, etc.). due to defects - the law is so technically complicated especially for someone representing themselves due to financial issues.
Then I was blessed to find - LEGALGEMS - as one of their experts! Her specialty is that of - family law, but she helped me with minor issues of civil litigation. She was as knowledgeable & thorough as any "normal" attorney charging $300+ an hour. LEGALGEMS is a great asset to the JustAnswer team.

They automatically charged my credit card without my consent. I was told that if I didn't decline, I was registered. Had I not been diligent in reviewing my credit card charges, I might never have known. This is a terrible practice.
