It was helpful and informative . It is good to know this is available only wish I had known about it sooner.
I was expecting to pay $5.00 for a question to be answered and ended up being charged another $66.00 for a membership I never asked to get. When I called to ask for a refund they refused to refund me stating that my 7 day trial ended the day before and an automatic membership began. Apparently it was listed in the terms and conditions. But I explained I was not aware of this and that I will not need or use this membership but they still refused to refund me.
These folks were able to get into my PC and find the problem and FIX it. Thank you. Only problem is how they charge you. It is a little confusing!
Thank you so much for your help. I'm still having to go to the courthouse to file paperwork.
This site has saved me hours of research. Nora in Fine Furnishings and Decorative Art was so helpful! Thank you! A+
Great service, the Gentleman went above and beyond to help me, but unfortunately, we could not fix the issue with my
It was helpful to be able to get an opinion from a dermatologist on a Sunday, gave me a solution that alleviated the skin irritation until I got to see my PCM.
JustAnswer*** is a fraudulent operation. They should be put out of business and the principals jailed. I was instructed to contact them when I had a problem with my HP printer. They were unable to provide me with an answer and I was somewhat upset that I had paid $5 for nothing. I attempted to cancel the further service. Perhaps it is my fault for not checking my credit card statements carefully. I found out that I had incurred an ongoing charge of $28/month for 10 months. When I contacted my bank to dispute the charges they said they could only go back 4 months. I contacted the***pany but they claim they never got my request to cancel and their policy is to only credit back the same 4 months my bank is crediting me. I don't understand how the Revdex.com gives this outfit an A+. They are a scam operation! They don't deserve any stars but I'm giving them one because that is the requirement to post my review.
I asked them a question and Just answer said it would be $5.00 to enroll and I would get a Free trial period for one week. Although that didn't make a lot of sense , they said I would have an opportunity to cancel my subscription within one week. They would e-mail or text me as to how to cancel. That e-mail or text never came about, and I cannot get on there website without giving them another $5.00 . They now charged my credit card for $46.00 and I still can not get in touch with them to cancel my subscription.

The attorney, *** did an excellent job and responded very quickly. He went into great detail describing the options that I have and offered legal form websites and websites
for attorneys that handle land and divorce disputes. Attorney, *** is an asset to your company.
Auto enroll in $46/mo membership not easily discerned. Non refundable.
Used JustAnswers for a question in August 2019. Was charged $5 for the service and I received the answer I was seeking. However, the company automatically signed me up with a perpetual membership with a monthly charge of $34 that I did not need and did not ask for. Looking back at the emails from the company, I noticed that I have not received a single email once the "membership" started so, in effect, they did not send any receipts nor any emails that might alert me that they are charging my account every month.
According to their website and after speaking to their customer service rep, other than canceling the membership there is no recourse to disputing, receiving refunds, or even receiving pro-rated refunds! Their website does not even let you remove the credit card on file, only to change it.

Firstly, I am sorry for any problems you have experienced with our site.
After checking your account, I can see that you signed up for the discounted $5 question with the 7 day free trial membership. As with any membership or subscription trial, if you do not cancel before the end of the trial, you will automatically be charged for your first month to avoid any disruption in service. Additionally, we send out emails welcoming you to the membership and an email is sent before your trial is ending.
Per our terms of service that you agreed to when you enrolled in the membership, the membership payment is not eligible for a refund as stated in section 10, subheading "Refunds, Cancellations, Abuse and Special Programs" as follows;

Although your payment is not eligible for a refund under our terms of service, as a courtesy to you we have refunded the membership payment for you. The funds are made available to your bank the next business day, however, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy.
Additionally, I've removed your credit card from our system per your request.
I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with and I would be happy to help.

I signed up for a 7-day trial. Before 7 days passed, I cancelled the membership. After I cancelled, I was billed for the membership anyway. I contacted them and the only answer was that the trial ended the day before, giving me only 6 days of trial, when I had paid for a full 7-day trial. Besides poor customer service, this is incredibly dishonest.

This business does not make it known clearly that they are going to charge multiple times for using their service, which was not even effective. I was charged $39 in total, $34 of which I didn't authorize and they have refused to refund citing it as a membership fee, except I never asked for a membership and their customer service rep terminated our conversation. When I asked for a refund. They also claim to offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with their service, which I clearly am not. And they do not honor that claim as well. Which is false advertisement

JustAnswer is has an abusive relationship with Google that ends up in charges the unknowing customer never agreed.
In my case I was charged for 3 - $40 memberships all of which are unwanted. Not the $1 fee represented. The charges were incurred in associated with setting up a GMail Suite Account. JustAnswer was accessed through Google Help - when the session was opened it appeared to be with Google. Setting up the account was complicated and therefore the session was spread over approximately 4 days. The primary reason is how JustAnswer is organized. The session was constantly interrupted by the JustAnswer associate would leave the session to do other tasks.
My guard was down in the belief that the help session was with Google - Not JustAnswer. Google is not doing its customers a service by associating with substandard services such as JustAnswer.

Based on my experience, I think this business is a scam. I had no idea that I was signing up for a membership fee. The first I was aware that I had agreed to a $46 monthly recurring charge was when my credit card alerted me to a potential fraud charge. I immediately discontinued this pretty worthless service and asked for a refund of my $46 charge. They refused. I think this company is largely in the business of tricking people into signup up for their service, then on the first day after the so-called "free trial", bam, so late, they keep the money. It's a bit like a carnival fraud.

I signed up for a temporary trial version. Tried repeatedly to cancel my membership and was charged a monthly membership fee and they refuse to refund. This is a fraud and a scam.

I have no recall of ever initiating contact with JustAnswers, no question I recall posing to them for a response, no reason for authorizing ridiculously minuscule [TEN CENT!] donations in my name to five random charities (ENDHUNGER, HOME4VETS, DIABETES, ENDCANCER, and CLEANWATER), or asking them to sign me up for a TRIAL membership for which they initially billed my account for FIFTY CENTS... for a total of six separate JUSTANSWERS charges to my bank account amounting to all of One Dollar on July 31, 2019. I did not notice these charges, nor FOUR successive monthly MEMBERSHIP charges of $46 on August 10, September 9, October 9 and November 9, untll I sensed something off and went back to review my bank activity today. JUSTANSWERS has billed my account for a total of $185 for which I neither requested nor received anything of value. When I contacted them for an explanation of these charges, and asked for a refund, their representative said they could only investigate going back 90 days. This is flatly false and unacceptable. they took my money. $185, and I want it back. I see on your site that there have been, as of today, 491 complaints filed with the Revdex.com against JustAnswers. That does not speak well for the legitimacy and integrity of their operations.

I used the service to get help fixing my wife's car. The site seems like a scam to me. I had to sign up for a $5 trial and pay $26 for an answer before I ever got any feedback. Then the guy was only giving partial answers and repeated questions never gave me the full result. I wanted to know which of the computers (circuit boards) in the car controlled the locks. His answer, "they don't make it user friendly." I build circuit boards for a living, so I don't need it to be user friendly, His answer... crickets
On top of this the dude gets an auto 5-star rating from me and I try to edit it and cannot edit the stars. I told the customer support this sure felt like a scam to mislead people with my fake rating and they said I had accepted the terms of the membership.
Well, I login to the account and there is no list of charges on my account except for the $5 and $26. Lo and behold my credit card has a couple of $30 or so membership charges. Does this seem scam-ish to you? I think so. They may or may not have refunded me, the person became quite rude with my feedback, which was completely professional, yet honest and very negative.
I will avoid this company like the plague and feel that everyone should. How they have a good rating is beyond me.
I think this company is a scam. My family member asked for an opinion on a piece of porcelin. I was just outof hospital and allowed family member to give my card for one question.
The company did not make it clear that they would continue to charge my CC each month even tho we did not use them again. I have cancelled my CC and reversed the charges. this company should have some action against them for forcing a cc for one question and then to keepcharging that CC when no additional questions have been asked.
I am Not interested in any asking any further questions now or in the future nor in the past. My suggestion is to adopt a better business model. Thank you
