Their very deceptive took $138 unauthorized from my acct. I was totally unaware of this deception. I'm disabled and live on a limited amount of monies. I had noticed that I had monies missing from my acct. I notified my bank and requested the last 3 months of transactions. Upon receiving this information I noticed a fee of $36.00 being taken from my acct on the 6th of each month. This was an "UNAUTHORIZED AMT!!" Honestly idk what or who "Just Answer " was so I Googled it judt to see what it was. I'm sure I asked a question but I'm 100% POSITIVE that I NEVER agreed to such an amt. I wouldn't do that regardless of what question I may of had. Its ridiculous. Stay away from JUST ANSWER

The membership charge amount and information is presented to all customers on the payment page prior to entering any billing information. After the question is posted and the membership is agreed to, we send a receipt E-mail, as well as a payment reminder E-mail, 3-days prior to the recurring billing. The membership bills at the end of the 7-day trial in order to avoid an interruption in service.
We are happy to take another look at your account to make sure that it was handled in accordance with the cancellation policy. At this time we can confirm that your membership was turned off and that you will see no further recurring billing. You can come back at any time to post additional questions but you will be asked to post a deposit on a question by question basis moving forward.

This is the biggest rip off ever. Got a lame answer for 1. and I cancelled 2 days into the trial period and now they say I haven't cancelled and are charging me 46 dollars a month. Wont even try to refund any off it. Find another way to get yourself an answer or you might lose a lot of money.

I was surprised to find a bill for $46 for Just Answer membership on my credit card bill. I never asked for membership and received no service from them.

I called Panasonic for help with one of their DVD's. The person I talked to told me to go to Just Answer for tech support. A guy named "Nathan" asked me a pertinent question via email and, after giving up my Visa # I never heard from Nathan again. I tried calling the phone number listed for Just Answer and got a short, meaningless recording - no prompts to anyone.
This is a scam to force users to pay $26 for answers to "tech support".

Some customers prefer to talk on the phone rather than type back and forth so JustAnswer offers phone calls and remote connections to the customers if they need additional help. I submitted a question about my dog and they told me to see my veterinarian. I instantly went in and canceled my membership and they went on to charge me the full membership when my trial period was up. The representative said it was because I didn't know how to follow the instructions to cancel. I am very proficient with a PC. I would give zero stars if I could.

Not only is this service a *** but they lie when they tell you their customer service people are available 24/7. I have tried calling, online chat and email and none of the services are working. When I call it is as if I am calling myself, there is no dial tone and nothing rings. (Trust me there is nothing wrong with my phone) When I try to do the online chat the button turns red and goes no where. I even tried the bubble that comes up with some lady names Pearl Wilson to which I get nothing. Last I tried to send an email but the send button wouldn't work. I read the terms and conditions after the trial and made sure that I went to the link to cancel. When I did it said my account was already closed and canceled. So I figured there was no further action on my part and I was upset that I hadn't even heard from anyone regarding my question. Then weeks later I get a charge on my card. Someone owes me my money back.

I guess I am another victim of the ***. I paid the $5, they did not even answer my question, then I cancelled the service that day. That was in December. Now in June 2020 I see they charged me $60 for annual membership. When I call they say I cancelled January 6th. My bad, as I do not have the documentation to show this. That is part of the issue. They can tell you whatever they want and you have no proof. Lesson learned, I will check Revdex.com before using an on line service.

Good service when I contacted Just Answer - but I apparently did not read the fine print when I paid $5 for a one week subscription (nor was this mentioned in the email I received from the company welcoming me to Just Answer). It was only several months later when I looked closely at my VISA bill and saw that I was being billed $50/month for their services. Working with customer service to get this billing refunded was terrible. Please read the fine print if you sign up with them!

Just Answer IS A *** !!!! Go throw your $5.00 out the window it’s the same as using this company.. No problem advertising that can get Answers for $5.00 No problem taking, I mean stealing your five dollars but they don’t answer your question they just tell you “sure it would be easy to fix for $39 I could do it for you!”they just want more money the five dollars it’s just an irritation fee to make you think somebody will actually help.
THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT APPLE SUPPORT!!!

They used to be transparent with their billing; not anymore. Now they trick you to subscribe $46 monthly for a service you don't need, for a service you only need less than once a year. Too bad. Not even sure why Revdex.com is giving you A rating. Maybe you're running a scam here too.

Not a reputable company to deal with.
They hope you will sign up and use them once, and never again, but they will continue the billings without any more service.
Called to cancel service the day it was to be charged to my credit card again, after repeated billings and never used, but was "told too late, past deadline" even though it was not as reflected on credit card billing date..
When pressed for a refund, the service rep very kindly told me, "I will ask my manager for cancellation, but it will be denied.", and it was denied.
So if you want to deal with an honest company, strongly recommend NOT to using or trusting them with your business.! They are a ***...

When you visited our site and began the process of posting your question, you were met with several messages from us explaining how you are signing up for a Trial Membership to run for 7 days, starting from when you post your first question. If the trial period was not canceled within that 7-day window, your account would transition into a full membership, where we would collect a monthly payment from you each month until you decide to cancel the service. This was all readily displayed for you when you were submitting your billing information before your first question was posted.
We also send several membership related emails that mention your next billing date, including a Subscription Reminder email to announce that your trial period is coming to an end and that your first membership payment is coming up. The Subscription Reminder email includes a cancellation link.
Moving forward, you will not see any recurring membership charges. The account is now on a pay-per-question basis and will only be charged when a new question is posted. In the future, if you would like to have the membership reinstated, please let us know.

artist! They use a classic fine print disclaimer underneath the huge orange bolded "$5 dollar one time/one question offer" that puts you on the hook for re-occurring monthly payments. They then make sure to respond with the link to the "fine print" once you file a complaint with them showing that your on the hook, and that they will not refund your money. I'm sure this company relies on this tactic to stay afloat. Just Answer is a company of low integrity for sure. What a shame, enjoy the $28 you stole from my family, I'm sure you need it more than me.

Deserves 0 stars but I had to give them at least 1 for the review. I subscribed to the week trial for $5, as this was my first time using any service of this kind. I recently purchased some porcelain figures and I wanted for information on them. The expert that responded was unable to answer my question and passed it for another expert to pick up. Waited all week and no response. At the end of the week with no answer, I canceled the service. The following day, $60 (the full month membership) had been withdrawn from my account. I emailed them for a refund and was told politely to ask another question, or email to find out more about the service. I declined this offer and asked for my money back. On the second email, I was told that I was not eligible for a refund. I am awaiting a response to that email. My question has still not been answered. These are not experts, they are couch googlers, and this is the biggest rip off scheme known to man. As of yet, no refund and I still have no answer to my original question, a service that I have at this point been charged for.

Horrible business. They have been billing my elderly father who has dementia. When I tried to cancel his membership through the website I have to dig to find out how. The website says “To cancel, please visit the Membership tab on the My Account page.” Guess what, there is no such tab. When I started a chat, something was wrong and the chat didn’t work. Ridiculous and scammish. I may complain to the Attorney General as well.

The lawyer was good he answered all my questions in a timely manner

My contacts with justanswer helped me solve every question I had. The responses were excellent.

Have been using JA for many years; well over 20 years or more. I always go to it when I'm needing an answer that I cannot get right away from various sources. Mostly, I've used veterinarians, doctors and even auto experts. I would recommend JA to anyone who wants an answer right away to help them with their crisis or dilemma.

With the information given online about my pet, the vet gave me some great options to try before taking my pet in for an office visit.

They are all ready to get your money in a very deplorable way.
In my case, the answer was not correct, and they end up charging $50 for 2 very fuzzy and most incorrect text messages.
And, I can see the average ratings being over 4 stars however with a super long list of unsatisfied customers and most of them feel cheated. I guess they spend the stolen money to by for upgrading the rating instead of properly answering people's needs.
