The appraiser we had, *** provided us with fast service. We were happy to find out the value of the vintage dinner plates we were researching answers for. Thank you for the great & efficient service you provided us. We have only been asking appraisers questions about dishes, dinner ware, etc and have been happy with the results they have provided to identify the items manufacturer, age range, value, etc. We have not used them for legal advice from a lawyer and as such can not provide information on those type questions. From
You will see a chain of reviews talking about how "I didn't realize I was signing up for a monthly service" and I thought it was only $1.00 to ask a question. Then there is a long response about how you should have read the whole contract, and we are very sorry but there is no refund. This a scam, any way you look at it. I had a question about my motor home, they had no idea what I was talking about, and gave me a bunch of obvious answer that didn't help me at all, charged me one dollar. THEN, one month later (after no further contact with them) my credit card is charged $36.00. They rely on people not reading the fine print, to which I don't ever remember seeing anyway, and get their credit card number. I don't know how the Revdex.com could give them a triple A rating.
Hello Max,
Thank you for getting in touch with us about this. As with many other web service providers there is no paper contract that you sign to use the service, similar to Netflix, or Hulu or any other subscription service. We are very upfront to new visitors when they visit our site regarding the $5 charge, and the trial enrollment that is associated with that charge, as well as what the subsequent membership charges will be if you choose not to cancel your Trial Membership within the 7-day trial period. The link below will illustrate this for you: https://i.imgur.com/5GVF7cO.png
I can reassure you that we’ve taken action to cancel your membership preventing any charges from occurring in the future. I hope this clarifies our service for you and our stance regarding your refund request.
However, should you have any other questions for us regarding JustAnswer and how our service works, you are welcome to reach out to our Customer Support Team anytime, and we’ll be glad to help.
FAKE company. A huge SCAM. This is not a legitimate company. They charged me 46 dollars saying its a membership fee WITHOUT MY CONSENT. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They dont even refund the payment when I say I dont need the membership and they dont care about any ethical customer service. In USA anything is refundable if we dont need the service. They have charged me without my consent and not willing to even refund the money. BE CAREFUL. THIS IS A SCAM

Anshul worked on my computer 2.5 hours trying to get my printer working. He installed a new driver and was able to get past printer errors occurring but the printer did not print. I was on hold 2 hours with Brother this morning. Assistant that answered was on the phone with me less than 2 minutes. Said to uninstall an update and if that didn't work, to call the computer manufacturer or Microsoft. She eventually emailed instructions 45 minutes later. In the interim, I received a message from Anshul following up with me. I was able to uninstall the update and the printer was again operational. I really appreciate the help I received.
Scam or at best not truthful about how they offer their services. The $5 trial is to sucker you in. For my experience no answers were given unless I paid more. Even when I canceled and they agreed I was done wrong by the trial and would get my question answered...nothing never heard from them again. My question was a standard residential structural design question. If they handle their business that way I don't trust them.
Hello Robert,
Thank you for getting in touch with us about this. I'm sorry that we weren't able to help you with your design question. The expert that tried to help you is usually very good with questions.

I did my get my problem solved during the 7 day trial for $1. I immediately called the billing dept to question how much the monthly charge would be. When they told me it was over $40 per month I immediately cancelled my trial. Awaiting to see if I get billed anymore
Gave full help for the questions I had regarding immigration. I am fully satisfied with the service I got even though it was trial membership. Canceled the trial membership on time.
Dr. was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I was able to schedule an appointment for my guy Gato for tomorrow. Most vet clinics need you to be a member in order to be seen and they are not accepting new clients at this time. Katherine confirmed my thoughts about what was necessary. She even attempted to find me a clinic, but it was Sunday and they were closed. She was very compassionate and empathetic. Thank you.
I submitted a question to an automotive mechanic concerning a difficult repair in a Ford F-150 sunroof. He was extremely knowledgeable and messaged back quickly and he messaged back and forth numerous times until he assisted me in getting the issue completely resolved. The sunroof has been repaired and is working properly. I would highly recommend this service. I was very pleased.
Joey JD was professional and very helpful when I needed him.
I love how quickly I obtained an answer to my question! It was quick, easy, and reasonably priced.
Scam, I knew they will charge $50.00/month membership. I called and cancelled. My mistake was not getting person who I talked when I cancelled my membership. They took 50 dollars out from my account so I called customer service but she was not helpful. She said I don;t see any recording. I wish they stop scamming people. Extremely disappointed. I will never do business with them and will let all my Friends and family never do business with them

Unethical billing practice. I signed up to answer one question in August 2019 and failed to cancel their service. They billed me $53 a month until I noticed what what happening in June 2020. I called the company to cancel my service. They said no refunds allowed because I had agreed to their deal. It was my fault.
Hello John. We're sorry you’re unhappy with our service. We're very sorry but we weren't able to locate an account with that email address. Do you have another email address we could try? Please email us at [email protected] so that we may assist you. And please mention your Revdex.com review. Thanks!
I posted a question on a Friday night because my pet bird was sick, and my avian vet wouldn’t be in the office until Monday. The chat said I’d receive an answer shortly. At first, the chat bot just asks you a series of questions, and it’s obvious it’s not a real person you’re talking to, but I knew that eventually a real person would see what I was typing, so it was fine. It showed me the profile of some guy who was supposedly the avian veterinarian who was on duty that I’d be talking to, and all his credentials and experience, and how he’d been with them for years and used to be a zoo veterinarian, and I thought this was good because he sounded very qualified to answer my question. Well, hours later I haven’t heard back, and the chat bot tells me, sorry, there’s a delay, so I’ll mark your question as urgent. Now it’s 4:22 the next day and I still haven’t heard anything. So I’m realizing that they obviously don’t even have an avian vet on call right now, probably bc it’s the weekend, they probably won’t until Monday, and I was going to see my vet Monday anyway, so what’s the point? They didn’t have to show me that guy’s profile and act like he was on duty if they didn’t actually have anyone working. I bet the system just shows that same profile to everyone, and it could be anyone answering your question. I just went ahead and cancelled my membership to make sure I don’t get charged the full fee. Just wasted $1, not a huge deal. But they shouldn’t advertise that you’ll get an answer in minutes if they’re not actually going to have every kind of expert on call.
Hi Amy,
Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry we haven't gotten anyone to respond to your question about Bee.
The Experts on JustAnswer are not employees and they work when they can. Most of our questions do get answered within 10 minutes. I see you were able to get your membership turned off but you can still answer questions through the 19th if you want to try another question.
Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else today.

Thank you for reaching out to us at JustAnswer and we apologize for any confusion.
We can certainly appreciate the concerns you have regarding the charges associated with your account, and we wanted to take some time to clarify our billing system.
For the cost of $1, new visitors will post a question and receive a 7-Day Trial Membership that automatically transitions into a full membership after the 7th day. When the trial ended, and in order to prevent interruption to your service, your account was billed $50 for a full membership. Membership fees are collected each month until our member decides to cancel their membership. The cost of the Full Membership, along with the details of the trial period are outlined and displayed on the same page where you submit your billing information, just before you post your question. There is no obligation whatsoever, and the membership can be canceled at any time. We hope this helps to clear up any confusion you may have had regarding your charges.
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for a refund but we have canceled the membership to ensure that you will not be billed moving forward. In the meantime, you can enjoy full membership privileges and ask as many questions as you would like in any of our categories until your billing cycle ends on 7/11/2020. Once the billing cycle ends, your account will be on a pay-per-question basis and you will only be charged when you post a question.
If you would like to reactivate your membership in the future, please send your request to our customer support team at support...
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

I had high hopes for this service and was very disappointed. I submitted a simple question about my washing machine and paid my trial fee. I received three messages within the first half hour notifying me that it was taking longer than usual to connect me to an expert but nothing else. After waiting three days I sent a message to customer support and was told my question would be flagged and fast tracked. After a week I still did not receive an answer to my question or even a response from an expert. I ended up fixing the washing machine myself (without any previous experience), cancelled my membership, and will not be using or recommending this service in the future.
Hello Adrian,
Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry we couldn't get you an answer for your washing machine. Most of our questions are answered within 10 minutes.
I can verify that your membership has been turned off so you won't see any recurring charges. If you have any other questions your account is on a pay-per-question status. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

NO STAR This is a total scam, as everyone else has posted, my husband asked a question (same question twice) and was charged $5. Their email response went to junk email (because they are trash) and we have been charged $46 for the last 2 months. When I finally found a number to call, btw a phone number can be found at https://clark.com/education/justanswer-review. I spoke with Faith who told me we cannot have a refund even though we never received a satisfactory answer. The few answers my husband received were basic and of no value.

I think that this company makes much of its money by misleading its customers. They make it very un-obvious that customers are embarking on far more than a question-answer venture that will cost $5.00 some of which goes to charity. Rather, they are also AUTOMATICALLY being enrolled in a "free trial" that AUTOMATICALLY incurs a monthly charged unless it is cancelled in a few days. I bet they make much of their income by sticking unknowing customers with a monthly charge that they have to figure out how to cancel. Shameful.

I asked a question back in August 2019. I canceled my membership in AUGUST 2019. I also have a new debit card. So explain to me how this website has my OLD debit card on file, I canceled my membership almost a YEAR ago, and I am STILL BEING CHARGED MONTHLY, and was told that I’m not being charged even though I have all my bank statements to prove it! Total fraud! This website needs to be shut down! I will be seeking legal help
Hello Katie, Thank you for reaching out. I am finding an account started in Aug 2019 but it was cancelled. Is it possible that you have another account under a different email address? We can also locate the account with the following information: - Your phone number - Your order number - The first 6 digits and last 4 digits of the card being charged. We do not need the whole number. - Your PayPal email address if you are being charged through PayPal. Please reply to us at [email protected] so we can keep your information private. I was having difficulty downloading and installing some Microsoft software, and somehow I found myself at JustAnswer and being asked to pay $1 to get started with with the answer they were going to supply me with. I noticed that later I was charged an additional $45 for FOR AN ANSWER I NEVER RECEIVED. When I tried to contest the charge, the person at JustAnswer told me that I was given 7 days to cancel, then they would automatically charge me for a full membership. which I "too late" noticed was buried at the bottom of a convoluted email they sent me. What a rip off.
Hello Eugene,
Thanks for letting us know about this. We're sorry for any confusion about the payment for the site.
It sounds like you may have navigated to our site by mistake. The membership charge amount and information is presented to all customers on the payment page prior to entering any billing information. After the question is posted and the membership is agreed to, we send a receipt E-mail, as well as a payment reminder E-mail, 3-days prior to the recurring billing. The membership bills at the end of the 7-day trial in order to avoid an interruption in service.
In looking at your account we can confirm that your membership was turned off. You can come back at any time to post additional questions but you will be asked to post a deposit on a question by question basis moving forward.
Please reach out to us if you need any further assistance and we're happy to help in any way we can.
Regards,
JustAnswer Customer Care Team
