I received an answer to my question in just minutes.

Tried to get my membership money back since I had not signed up for it. Called the company. My answer boiled down too sorry but no. I was never charged the $1 for a trial membership and never notified that the free trial was over. Received a nice $46 surprise on my bank statement

As with many other web service providers there is no paper contract that you sign to use the service, similar to ***, or *** or any other subscription service. Assigned a question about my frogs with Just Answer, been 5 days and the question has still not been assigned to an expert. After contacting their support, I was greeted to an automated response system that is finicky, cuts out, and spams messages when communicating with an actual agent. After an hour yesterday of trying to contact a real person, they told me someone would call me but that did not happen. Tried contacting them again today, same story but no real person. If you are going to have an inadequate trial to show off your services, do not scam $5 just for the fun of it.

BEWARE!!! Submitted a HVAC question and never heard an answer within 24 hrs. I called to say cancel my order and trial membership. They asked for my account info which I did manage to give the agent my information. When asked for clarification, if my $5 fee AND membership ($37 monthly fee) was to be refunded all of sudden the agent said they could not hear me anymore! NOT customer service! Supposedly my money has been refunded (time will tell) as I said I will dispute the charge as I did not get ANY answers to my question and will be filing a report with Revdex.com. I was able to confirm that the "trial membership" was cancelled. BEWARE of this eCommerce site! Not what you think it is!! Deceptive advertising!

I ask a five dollar question and they charge me 40$ a week later when I didn’t agree to no free trial. So I call and the customer service lady threatened to bill me 120& for not wanting there services and a refund!!! This is beyond a *** of a company

Thank you for letting us know about this. We're sorry for any confusion about the payment for the site.
The membership charge amount and information is presented to all customers on the payment page prior to entering any billing information. After the question is posted and the membership is agreed to, we send a receipt email, as well as a payment reminder email, 3-days prior to the recurring billing. The membership bills at the end of the 7-day trial in order to avoid an interruption in service. You would also see a page similar to this: ***g while you are signing up to ask your first question.
We are happy to take another look at your account to make sure that it was handled in accordance with the cancellation policy. At this time we can confirm that your membership was turned off and that you will see no further recurring billing. You can come back at any time to post additional questions but you will be asked to post a deposit on a question by question basis moving forward.

My expert was exactly that. It took him about 5 minutes to research and SOLVE my issue with my car. I am 100% satisfied with my help. What I don’t love is their business model. I signed up for the trial and one question. My question was answered; I don’t need an ongoing service. I’m going to keep the subscription for a month (even though I don’t have to) because they really did solve my problem and therefore I feel they earned it but I will be cancelling thereafter. I feel a per question payment model would be more useful for me.

Bert good And fast service, good question to diagnose the problem. Al and all was worth the service. It end up been an easy fix.

Quick response time to answer my question about some medicine my dog swallowed

I was in a situation where I needed to talk to a lawyer, not so much hire one, Debra the one they put me in touch with was quick to reply, the system in place for notifying me was really well set up.

I got text messages when she replied to my questions, I had options to convert it to a phone call if I needed it, and I was even given the option to add a tip for the person who helped me which I gladly took advantage of.

I did end my subscription to the service after I got the information that I needed and even that was simple and not hidden or hard to find.

I look forward to the next time I need to use this service.

Got good information and several helpful specialists that helped solve my problem. Definitely worth it.

Great advice and excellent diagnosis on my dog's condition. I took dog to vet in South Africa and he came to same conclusion. Worth the fee.

I asked one question in May and paid $1 trial membership. I did NOT ask to become a member, beyond that day and have discovered I was charged $50 for a membership fee on my Visa bill which came today June 16. A refund is not available. This place is a rip off and should be avoided at all times. It would get zero stars if that were an option.

Professional, reliable, caring and friendly service. My dad was suffering symptoms in the middle of the night and Dr. Sawhney answered my questions in a quick, clear and professional manner. He offered to talk with me at 2am! Thank you so much for your consultation. My dad is now stable in the hospital. This service brought us peace of mind and allowed us act fast. Highly recommend.
