Extremely please service. Dr. called me within 5 minutes. He completely calmed my fears with what I thought I was facing. Recommend service
JustAnswer SAVED ME. (Thanks to Mr.) He was very professional in retrieving the bookmarks that accidentally erased. I think JustAnswer is a wonderful answer for older folks, like me, that are computer illiterate. Many thinks.
The service seems to be a much needed one,and I only cancelled my initial membership@3:44a.m.,6/7/19,
bcause I resolved my issue myself.
Sorry.
quick answer. I don't understand why I have to pay someone to answer a question I went on *** support to get a answer.
I was in a bad situation with my printer as my job depends on the computer and printer. I received prompt courteous help from the tech and my problem was resolved in an efficient manner. I was very pleased. Thank you I'm up and running!
Had an appliance issue. Although I thought I found an answer already posted, I opted to contact a technician. The price, under $25, was reasonable and being able to stay in contact with the technician via mobile during the troubleshooting was great.
I was able to get a quick appraisal on an old and very rare China set for which I could not have found value for online.
The promptness of the response was great, including best platforms in which to post the set if I were to sell.
I signed up for a 7 day trial. I used the service for only 1 day. 6 days later I was charged $46 for a monthly fee I was unaware of signing up for. The company would not provide refund even though the service wasn’t being used.

After checking your account, I can see that you signed up for the $5 question with the 7 day free trial membership. I gave paid Justanswer*** $5 to answer a question I had regarding a repair to my car. After a 7 days, they charged my credit card again without my consent. After reviewing the emails I received before they charged my credit card Justanswer*** I noticed that they were deceptive in how they approached informing me that they were going to charge me for a membership fee.

As per the site, asked question, paid $5 for free week and was promised an answer in 2 minutes. 15 hours later, nothing. Went to site and attempted to log in and was unable to do so. They basically stole the $5 and provided nothing and I cannot find how to cancel before they start hitting me with monthly fees. Further, they're "chat" sessions are not actual sessions with a person, but a bot. This whole service is a scame
Hello,
My name is Chase and I am with the customer care team at JustAnswer.
I received a copy of your complaint filed through the Revdex.com and I’d like to help with your concerns. Firstly, I am sorry that you did not get an answer to your question.
On average, a question that is asked on JustAnswer receives a response in 10 minutes, and in most cases, it's faster than that. However there are times when responses can be delayed. Things like the time of day that the question was posted, and the number of Experts available in the category will play a part. The amount of complexity within the question, and the time it takes for an Expert to author a response also has an impact.
While we do have a bot, Pearl Wilson, that takes the initial information from customers to pass on to the Experts, all of our questions are answered strictly by live professionals. All Experts must be licensed and verified in their fields before be allowed to ask questions on our site.
I've closed your question and processed a refund of your deposit. It looks like your membership trial has already been turned off, so there will be no charges moving forward.
I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with and I would be happy to help.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I called to ask question while on the phone. A Popup on my computer screen instructed me that I could "Chat Live" with Technical Support. I selected the Chat option. I was instructed while chatting with Technical Support that the service would cost me $5.00. I paid this amount by Credit Card. JustAnswer charged my account $46.00 over three months for a total of $138.00. USD. Apparently this is a monthly fee for their "service". I went to the website and cancelled the but did not receive a email yet. I don't want a subscription. This was a one time $5 deal. I would like a full refund of all of my funds. The customer service was very poor. The customer service also was not customer friendly. I wish this matter to be resolved and that I am given a refund.

I fell for this "legal scam:" online. DON'T DO IT ! First they wanted $1 and after a series of screens, they offered an "answer" for $28. I did not want to pay this so left the web site. Now, they are billing me for $24/month BECAUSE I did not read all of the legaleze in their agreement. I did call their INDIA phone service and the agent refused to refund my money already paid.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE LEGALEZE OR DON'T USE THIS "SERVICE". VERY UNHAPPY !!!!!!! And they were of no help whatsoever for my request for a reputable plumber. BEWARE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
Hello ***,
Thank you for reaching out to us about this. We're sorry for any confusion that you experienced.
In looking at your conversation, it appears that the technician wasn't able to help you because you left in the middle of the conversation without responding to any of his troubleshooting questions about the issue you were seeing with your refrigerator.
In looking at your account, we can confirm that the recent membership charge was refunded back to your card and you should see the funds back in the account at this time.
Please reach out to us if you have any other questions about your account or the site and we're happy to be of any assistance.

I signed up for a trial membership on 16 May 2019. I requested and received legal advice on an auto service issue. I was given good legal advice and would have gladly paid more for that advice. I thanked them and considered the matter closed and my trial usage completed. I received an e-mail from Just Answer on May 20, 2019, which appeared to be an ad for their membership. On May 23, 2019 I received a charge of $46 for JustAnswer membership. I called them to get a refund and was told this was a membership charge with no refund. I also filled a dispute with my credit card for the $46 charge.

I submitted a question for review on May 15, 2019 and I still have not been contacted with a response. The website indicated that you could submit a question and a response would be received quickly. This would be included in the 7 day free trial, however I never received a response. Now I am being billed $46 for a membership that I don't want. There is no reason for me to become a member of an organization that does not provide the services that they advertise.

You also received a confirmation E-mail for the refund the same day. We're glad to hear that you've found the advice of the attorney to be helpful. If you need any further assistance with questions about your case, please don't hesitate to reach back out.

My computer malfunctioned and oredered a membership after I instructed the business in question to cancel my free trial. I then repeatedly contacted them to inform them not to charge my card, before it was processsed, and then after it was processed with absolutely no response at either contact. At the time of this complaint, there still has been no response to multiple requests.
Hello,
My name is Chase and I am with the customer care team at JustAnswer. I received a copy of your complaint filed through the Revdex.com and I’d like to help with your concerns.
Firstly, I am sorry for any confusion you may have experienced with our site.
I checked your account and you were never signed up to a JustAnswer membership. The additional charge you were seeing was for the Premium Service on the question page, which you say your computer accepted in error. On the question page, the Expert provided you a link where you could have contacted customer service and your payment was cancelled the same day it was made, once a moderator saw your notes.
I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with and I would be happy to help.

As expert on German porcelain I can well say that some "German china" answers people have paid for are nothing more than made-up nonsense. Presenting brands as producers and offering date ranges during which a factory did not even exist is no "error", "typo", or "slip of hand" but a well played scam as even pointing out/reporting such nonsense requires a membership.

If there was zero starts I'd give them a zero. Please, do not use this company. They are NOT ethical. I asked one question which cost me $5. They then charged me an additional $46 dollars even though I had cancelled the membership within the trial period (same day I signed up as I realized the information wasn't going to help). Unfortunately, I didn't notice until they had charged me twice! When I noticed I was being charged, I immediately called them to reiterate I had opted out within the trial period. When the person I was speaking with said it didn't matter, they would not refund my money, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He took down all of my information and and put me on hold, theoretically to transfer me to a supervisor. I was on hold for over 45 minutes and then disconnected on their end. I called back and gave my information again and asked not to be put on hold. However, I was put on hold. First for 10 minutes and then they picked up the line and asked for my name. Seriously, I had given that information. Clearly they were not tracking it, just like they failed to track my cancellation. I was then put on hold - now accumulating 20+ minutes (so over an hour between 2 calls) and then again disconnected. Since then I've received canned emails. The emails are clearly "robo" emails and the "From" is even from one name and the person signing it is another. They are not case specific.
A good company will not charge $97 dollars for one basic question. A good company would acknowledge their employees can and do make mistakes and not hold the customer accountable.
Cancel your card if you used this company they will charge it anyway! Now I have to fight fraud charges. Best plan, do NOT use this company.
Hello ***,
Thank you for getting in touch with us about this. We're sorry for any frustration. In looking into your account we can see that the Customer Care agent appears to have issued a refund for both of the membership charge several days ago. That may have bene lost in the communication it seems.
Please reach back out to us if you need any further assistance or have any questions about your account and we're happy to help.

This org offers a "trial" for $8. I signed-up for a trial. This org's business is to supply a diagnosis for a given set of symptoms - ergo - any rational person would expect a "trial" to be such a diagnosis at the cost of the trial. But, when I submitted my symptoms they demanded additional payment. I refused that request and demanded either the diagnosis or a refund. They refused both. Subsequently, after emails back and forth, they did (I believe, although it is not yet through) agree to a refund. They followed up with a stream of blandishments, protestations of innocence and asking, in effect, how they could put the matter to rights. To test their sincerity I said they could provide the diagnosis as requested. It seems that "sincerity" was, in fact, crocodile tears - they reneged on that, too!
Hello,
My name is Chase and I am with the customer care team at JustAnswer. I received a copy of your complaint filed through the Revdex.com and I’d like to help with your concerns.
Firstly, I am sorry for any problems you have experienced with our site.
I did take a look at your account and your communications with us. I'm sorry that none of the customer care agents told you that you had a response waiting from one of our Doctors asking you for more information. He responded about two hours after you posted. Response time can be affected by the amount of Experts online at the time that are familiar with your specific issue. It definitely looks like they dropped the ball. However, I have sent over all of this information to their supervisors and the proper steps will be taken and any necessary actions.
For your trouble, I'd like to offer to post your question for free on the site. If you are interested, please send an email to ***, you can request Ms. Chase or any other admin and note that you were offered a free question. Please refer to your Revdex.com case number ***
I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with and I would be happy to help.

I am rejecting this response because:
It does not address the manner in whch this org operates. They offer a "free trial" but you have to pay a deposit to get that trial. When that deposit is made and the "trial" attempted, they demand further payment. They are frauds!

Firstly, I am sorry for any confusion you have with our membership. What you've mentioned is not how our site works. Customers can ask a question for a deeply discounted price ($1 or $5) and for the discounted question, sign up for our free 7 day trial. Customers can also as a question and pay full price for their question without the free trial. The customer can then ask questions for 7 days in any category without further payment. If they decide to keep the trial, they can do nothing and will be charged their first months membership without interuption. If they decide they do not want to keep the membership, as with any membership or subscription, they must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Some customers are offered a Premium Service depending on their question. For example, legal or medical customers may be offered a phone call, computer customers may be offered remote support, but those services are completely optional and can be ignored if not needed.
I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction, but if there is anything else I may assist you with I would be happy to help.

I am rejecting this response because:
They are simply reiterating the same blatant lies.
They offered a trial (of diagnosis of symptoms) for $7, which I accepted ...I then listed my symptoms for that diagnosis ...They then demanded further payment BEFORE they would provide the diagnosis ...I refused further payment ...They refused the diagnosis ...I demanded a refund of my $7 deposit ...They refused that, too! ...After further complaint by me they finally did refund the deposit. But they still haven't provided the diagnosis.
THEY DO NOT DELIVER WHAT "IT SAYS ON THEIR TIN"!
I maintain that their adverts are misleading and fraudulent.
