I asked the question within trial membership of 7 days. I got the answer and they charged 5 USD for it, as advertised . But Just answer started the subscription billing without my authorization! They tried to charge 34 USD (not enough money in the account at that moment). They charged 34 USD on April 27 (there was money in the account then) under so-called subscription which no one approved to them!! When I tried to chat with their support requesting the refund, they played hide-and-seek suddenly got lost. This is a hi-jacking and robbery in a soft manner! I found dozens of customers on the internet they deceived this way !!! I cancelled their membership immediately even if I have never subsribed to. But reading so many others' compliants I suspect they will try to charge again at least once again. To prevent that I am forced to act with countermeasures. Do not let this rude troup steal your money just like that !! Something like collective accusation would smarten up and cut off these honest-business gurus!

The membership does pick up at the end of the trial in order to prevent a disruption in service.
We also send several notification and marketing E-mails in the first week to remind customers to use the trial, as well, we send a billing reminder E-mail to each customer 3-days prior to the membership billing with instructions on how to administer their membership.
In looking at your account we can see that it appears that you were able to connect with a Customer Care representative and the membership has been turned off on your account.

I used this company for a ONE TIME fee of $5, they didn't help me resolve the issue and a week later charged my account $46 membership fee.

I've used JustAnswer twice now! Both times the Tech was very knowledgeable! My issues were taken care of. They explained everything to me so I actually understood! Can't say enough good things!

I was pleasantly surprised. I had some concerns about my dog and was in discussions with a vet. Throughout the process, the vet was very quick to respond and gave me some great information. It was clear that the vet I was dealing with was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I paid the $5 + $25 fee for the service and I find this more than reasonable. A single vet visit would have cost more. I see a lot of people on here complaining about the billing. Although I was able to figure it out, I do think the interface should be tweaked to make it easier to understand with billing as I almost got stuck in a monthly recurring plan. Thanks again to *** for helping me through my dogs issue.

I've used this site several times now to get legal advice for evicting a roommate, a dog biting incident and just recently had questions about a privacy wall repair. I was pleasantly surprised each time by how simple the process was and how quickly they responded.

I was at a lost after calling auto shops and dealers who all would not offer assistance, even *** was no help. I saw your site, filled out the requested info and it was all I needed to do. I requested that Wolfgang call me and a few minutes later, he called and talked me through what to do and in no time I was able to start my Mercedes without having to get it towed to a shop. He was great and friendly, a real lifesaver. Thank you.

The service is excellent very easy to have access and use.
I just used the medical service that was great instead of making appointment wait in the office and waste time I could immediately get my medical questions
I love the service I highly recommend it to everyone especially my friends because I know how helpful it is.
There is no doubt this is much better faster and more practical and much cheaper than seeing a doctor in office

I paid $5.00 for a professional to answer a technical question that I found to be unsatisfactory and ended up paying $143.00
Apparently I did not realize that I had somehow signed up for a double membership.

I am a small business owner and needed info before I went into a meeting. Urgent!

Just Answer was a great source for medical information. Did get some answers to my questions about chills at night when I go to bed at night.

I have an active lawyer on a pending workmans comp case, but because I feel as though my lawyer is not representing me like he should and is not openly giving me lawyer / client advice. I came to JustAnswer and paid just a dollar for a 7 day trial and I couldnt be happier. The lawyer I talked to acted like a lawyer should, he was patient, kind,and answered all my questions and it didnt matter to him how many times I asked the same question over, he was still very patient and understanding and even empathetic. He made sure I understood the answers to all my questions. Also, the answers I had recieved from the JustAnswer lawyer has stopped me from making a mistake and as it seems, it looks like he saved me from loosing a nice little sum of money. This lawyer stepped up where my lawyer failed me. Im very greatful for this JustAnswer company and the very good lawyer I have talked to from there.

Received quick and accurate answer. Was able to hire a lawyer from this website.

I am writing this review because this site has charged me over$50 on to my card I request a full refund I would never pay this amount of money to get any answer from someone I need this money to feed my kids ,this is nonsense!

In March 2019, I asked a question on just answer.com. They charge me five dollars which I allowed and I did not see anything about a membership then I received a charge in late March for $45. I phoned just answer.com and asked why and they told me that I didn’t have a membership that that was the charge they were for the question. So, I let that go. I was told there would be no further charges and that I didn’t have a membership. I have a record of that phone call. Today I noticed a charge on my bank account from just answer.com for $45. I called them they ask why I was being charged and they told me that I had signed up for a membership which I had not. I signed up to ask a question not to get a membership. They kept telling me That by excepting the five dollar charge that I had signed up for membership. I was not at all aware of this and told him so and I also told them that I had called and ask about the membership and was told I had none. I want a refund of the air pro charge if not all the money since I feel I’ve been scammed and harassed.

After checking your account, it looks like you signed up for the $5 question with the 7 day free trial. As with any membership or subscription, if you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you are billed automatically to avoid interruptions in service. Additionally, we send emails outlining the details of the free trial and membership. You accepted the free trial membership. We have no record of any calls before April 26th, if you would like to send us a copy of the call where you cancelled your membership, we will look further into what happened. You can send it to ***.
Since you did not intend to continue with the membership after the trial ended, as a courtesy, I have opted you out of the membership and issued a refund of the charge. The funds are made available to your bank the next business day, however, the bank may take 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account depending on their policy. I hope that I have resolved your concerns to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with and I would be happy to help.

I am rejecting this response because:I received no email and I did call in March. I was told I had no membership and not to worry about it. I want the other $46 refunded. They can keep the $5 for the question. Just look at the other complaints. I’m not the first to go through this.

I checked your account and I found that both of your membership payments were returned by your bank. If you speak to your bank and they say the funds have not been returned, we can set up a conference call with them to confirm and work with them to return the funds.
